Beloveth, are you happy that you are numbered among the blessed that drink from the fountain daily? While Martha was encumber with service as Jesus was their guest; Mary sat at the Lord’s feet listening to His teaching. Is there anything wrong in playing host or in serving absolutely nothing but by Jesus statement it means that we must desire to read and mediate on the Word for there lies our healing, deliverances and diverse miracles. Amen.

Our study topics today is a very interesting one. It is a common saying that “when a purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable.” Some of us truly do not know whom we are in Christ and what God has imbedded in us that is why the deceiver, the accuser of the brethren can harass and abuse us at will. How do you know who you are in Christ Jesus? How do understand and enter in your rest as God have promised us.

The answer lies in the Word. Is in the Word that you have encounters with God. In the Word lies your freedom and dominion. The amount of your Word encounter determines the level of your light encounter and that determine also you access into your dominion. Praise God.

Why are we bring this to our remembrance? God in time past kept reminding His leaders through the prophets of Israelites about their origin while they were on their way to the promise land. He instructed them to tell their children even generations yet unborn about His Mighty and strange acts among them.  Why was He telling them to do that?

This and many others you will discover as we go through the messages before us. Come, let’s find out more:

Listen to Me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were cut, and to the quarry from which you were dug.—Isaiah 51:1

As Christians, we ought never to overlook our heritage. An awareness of our Christian heritage helps us to understand our identity, and it gives us a sense of where God is leading us.

The Israelites had a rich heritage. Their nation began as a result of Abraham and Sarah’s faithfulness. The generations that followed included Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph as their faithful leaders. God richly blessed His people and made them prosper. God continued to show favor on the Israelites by leading them out of Egypt into a prosperous land of their own. God established His nation through some of the most awesome miracles in history.

God continued to provide strong leaders, such as Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Deborah, Samuel, David, and Solomon. He sent mighty prophets such as Elijah, Isaiah, and Jeremiah. Unfortunately, in Isaiah’s day, God’s people had reached a point where they had forgotten their heritage. They lived as spiritual paupers rather than as heirs to a rich heritage and members of a royal priesthood.

Your spiritual heritage is even richer than that of Isaiah’s generation. Your spiritual ancestors include Mary the mother of Jesus, John the Baptist, the disciples, the apostle Paul, and a host of saints down through the ages. Even more important, you look to Jesus as the author and finisher of your faith (Heb. 12:2). You may have a family history of faithfulness that goes back several generations.

Do you see the full picture of God’s redemptive work? God’s plan involves you, just as it has included each Christian throughout the centuries. God wants you to participate in His continuing work to redeem a lost world. Your obedience today will provide a legacy of faithfulness to the generations that follow.

Beloved, have your mind been refreshed on the rich history you have in Christ? Come with me as we discover more on your future inheritance in Christ:

“The things which are not seen.” 2Corinthians 4:18

In our Christian pilgrimage it is well, for the most part, to be looking forward. Forward lies the crown, and onward is the goal. Whether it be for hope, for joy, for consolation, or for the inspiring of our love, the future must, after all, be the grand object of the eye of faith.

Looking into the future we see sin cast out, the body of sin and death destroyed, the soul made perfect, and fit to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. Looking further yet, the believer’s enlightened eye can see death’s river passed, the gloomy stream forded, and the hills of light attained on which standeth the celestial city; he seeth himself enter within the pearly gates, hailed as more than conqueror, crowned by the hand of Christ, embraced in the arms of Jesus, glorified with Him, and made to sit together with Him on His throne, even as He has overcome and has sat down with the Father on His throne.

The thought of this future may well relieve the darkness of the past and the gloom of the present. The joys of heaven will surely compensate for the sorrows of earth. Hush, hush, my doubts! death is but a narrow stream, and thou shalt soon have forded it. Time, how short—eternity, how long! Death, how brief—immortality, how endless!

Methinks I even now eat of Eshcol’s clusters, and sip of the well which is within the gate. The road is so, so short! I shall soon be there.

“When the world my heart is rending

With its heaviest storm of care,

My glad thoughts to heaven ascending,

Find a refuge from despair.

Faith’s bright vision shall sustain me

Till life’s pilgrimage is past;

Fears may vex and troubles pain me,

I shall reach my home at last.”

Beloved, did you read that the joy of heaven will compensate for the sorrows of the earth. So you need not be afraid how the end will be, just make sure you are on the right path.

Peradventure rapture happens now the question that must always ring in your head is “will I be among them that are rapture ready or will I have to save my life with my own blood?”

Let it be said of us that we are standing right and there is no crooked way found in us. May all the beatitudes we devoted time to study since last week not be in vain in Jesus Name. Our aim is to see the Lord at the end of our pilgrim here on earth.

When the Lord will say to us ‘welcome my faithful servant into kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the earth.’

Am looking forward to it and I hope that is your desire too!

Finally beloved, hold on strongly your heritage in Christ and you see you triumphing over satan and his cohorts, Amen! His power over you and your destiny is squashed in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
