Come see the Lord is good, come and see the Lord is good. There is nothing He cannot do, come and see the Lord is good. He gave me victory, He gave me peace of mind, there is nothing He cannot do come and see the Lord is God.// What shall I say unto the Lord, all have to say is thank You Lord. What shall say unto the Jehovah all I have to say is thank You Lord. Thank You Lord, Thank You Lord, all I have to say is thank You, Lord.
Father, we cannot but continual to say Thank You for You are great. You are good. You are wonderful, You Mighty You are great, Faithful are You, Father. Thank You for answers to prayers, thank You for being God indeed unto us, we cannot thank You enough for You are Mighty.
Beloved, how are doing today? Hope fine? Wahoo, our God is good; all the time. We are here again to call unto the living God whose power is above all (Eph 1:19).
I pray that God will give a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so you may know what is hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, and the immeasurable great of His power to us who believe, according to the workings of His vast strength. (Eph 1:17-19).
Is someone ready to pray with understanding of the above scripture?
Today’s topic are addressing those that are set apart for the Lord. Are you set apart for the Lord? Are you among the saints/ read the scripture above- are you among the saints I ask again?
The truth is that God has special likening and package for the saints. Someone is saying are saints in this part of eternity? Yes! We are. And if you one you also know because the Word God have a clear picture on who the saints are (2Cor 5:17).
Do you want an answer to your prayers? Then you be among the saints and if you are among the saints, you are set apart. If you are set apart, what a privilege you have dear beloved, your prayers will never be hindered according to our text for the day but you will receive an express answer each time you call.
What a Mighty God we serve. Praise God some body!
Unfortunately not in all cases can it be said that having been created by God we are seeking after His will and purpose for our lives. So many have turn against God and gone their ways creating their own ideology and rewriting their own values which is not in line with the Word of God, making them enemies other than God’s friends.
Beloved, we have to pray a prayer that God will answer. A prayer that will not be turn back but receives answers from God. Meanwhile come along with me for further understanding praise God.
Let’s get going:
Know that the Lord has set apart
the faithful for Himself;
the Lord will hear when I call to Him.—Psalm 4:3
No one is more precious in the Lord’s sight than a godly person. God is pleased whenever He finds someone who strives to live a righteous life and bring glory to Him. God sets such people apart in a special place in His heart. They are always kept before Him, and He stands ready to respond to their faintest cries for help.
Sin separates us from God, causing Him to close His ears to our praying. It is futile for us to pray when we are knowingly practicing sin. But the opposite is also true. God chooses to honor us by listening to our every cry when we are living a godly life. An abiding security comes with living a blameless life. The righteous person never has to wonder whether God has listened to his prayer (1 John 5:14–15). The godly person has confidence that God has indeed heard her prayer and will immediately respond in all of His power.
It is exhilarating to be set apart by God, knowing that God observes your consecrated life and is pleased with what He sees. What a tremendous privilege to know that your life holds a special place in God’s heart! The world may not accord any special status to you, but you will know that you are cherished by God. The world continues to find new ways to honor people, but even the world’s most extravagant accolades are pitiful compared to the unfathomable blessing of holding a special place in the heart of God!
On Creating One’s Own Ideology… Rewriting One’s Own Values
Decades ago, C. S. Lewis penned this somber warning:
“The diseases that will certainly end our species… if it is not crushed, (is) the fatal superstition that men can create values; that a community can choose its ‘ideology’ as men choose their clothes.”
We as a nation have done exactly what C. S. Lewis warned against. Reminiscent, is it not, of Israel’s condition in her depravation:
“In those days there was no king in Israel; all the people did what was right in their own eyes.” (Judges 17:6)
And as a result, America today is facing a crisis of values of monumental proportions. Some observers are terming it a “Civil War” of values.
Tragically, this deterioration of values has profoundly impacted your lost associates: Most of them sense that there is something terribly wrong in the Land. But because they are generally lacking in a Biblical perspective, they have scant idea how we as a People got to this point, much less how they can personally escape from it.
Let me ask you a question: “As a believer in Christ, are you also writing and embracing your own brand of “Christian“ values… your own ideology, that conveniently accommodates your quest for personal freedom?”
If the answer is “yes,” then your lost friends are being deprived of observing in you two important realities that a life of obedience to Christ would have revealed:
(1) The magnitude of their lostness, and
(2) The fact that there is a way out of their life of bondage.
In this age of disintegrating values, may I urge you to respond to Paul’s passionate challenge:
“That you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life… ” (Philippians 2:15b-16a)
Are you ready to pray? if you are let us pray with the above verse of Philippians 2; 15- 16a.
Yes! having been set apart, let us ask God to make us blameless and pure, children of God without fault in this crooked and depraved generation in Jesus Name. that we will be stars in the universe as we hold out the Word of life in Jesus Name, to influence our lost friends, neighbors and family member positively so that they will turn to God.
God listen to our prayers and grant us our request in Jesus Name Amen!
