Father we Thank You, we bless Your Holy Name. Thank You for Your faithfulness that endureth forever, merciful Jesus we worship and adore You Lord for Who You are. You a great God. EL-SHADDIA is Your Name, Jehovah Elohim, Jehovah Ralph, Jehovah-Nissi. You are my Shalom, Jehovah-Tsidkenu. Indeed there is none greater than You. You are the Most High God. Be thou exalted forever and ever.
Beloved, we are here again to call on the name that failet not. The One Who is the beginning and the end. He is the Alpha and Omega. The only Wise God Who knows the end from the beginning. Today, you are going meet God in action. Be ready to receive whatever you are standing in to receive from God today in Jesus Name.
We have taken time to teach this great virtue of ‘waiting’ in our monthly series in June so if you are just joining us I suggest you take time to go through the teachings we had in the of month June for a better understanding of other teachings that will be coming from this ministry. Because we might saying things that you may not be comfortably with because we have gone through that school and you are yet to. There are so many benefits in ‘waiting’. One among so many others is that of character formation.
If you ask me I will tell you that it takes faith to wait on God. Why did I say that? When the world is offering you an easy way out of your troubles, challenges, it takes a heart that have rested in Christ and tested by God to say ‘No’ to everything that will not bring glory to God even to whatever degree of hurt you may feeling because you fear God.
And I also know that God is aware of whatever that I am going through and the only reason He allows it, is to glorify His Name. Read the following scripture to help your understanding further (Ex 3:7-10, Rom 9:17).
I don’t know what you are believing God for but I want to know that by your faith you have engage the hand of God to deliver it to you. However, in case the Lord is saying ‘wait’, then you have to heed to the voice of God. And why will God said ‘wait’ when He knows that I am in need of it.
Beloved, the Good Lord can say wait for some many reasons especially when you are not taking responsibility to develop your faith in Him as we discussed yesterday, you are indirectly delaying so many good things that should be coming your way. And that takes us the next stage of faith development which is the third stage – internalization/identification.
Stage Three: Internalization/Identification. Persons at this stage recognize their need for input from others, but they also recognize that they have a personal responsibility to grow up spiritually and not be so dependent on others. They still need and seek guidance and input from others, but they process this input in a new way. They do not uncritically accept and act because some respected authority says so. They take responsibility for their own spiritual decisions. Models and mentors are still important for these people because these serve to help them to search, feed and grow. Realizing that they are responsible for their own spiritual development, they maintain contact with their former primary authority source for general guidance rather than particular directions. Categories of faith are filled primarily by one’s self with some additional input from others.
Beloveth, if God said ‘call and I will answer you’ then if you are not calling then you are to be blame. God is still in the business of doing good- healing, deliverance, provision, protecting, cleansing, and working diverse miracles. What are you standing in for today? Our God is able to deliver it to you.
Today again we will see healing in the house. I want to celebrate God because He said in His Word that healing is the children’s bread. So if you are a child of God, and you are in line for healing of any kind, stand up and hold on to the garment of the Lord Jesus because He will heal you. He did it in the past, He will yet do it again according to your faith in Him (Matt 9:29; Mk 5:34; Lk 17:19; Lk 18:42; Jn 5:38).
Do not confess healing and exhibit doubt in your heart (Rom 10:9). May God help you in Jesus Name.
Let get into the message of the day:
“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Ps. 27:14
Wait! Wait! Let your waiting be on the Lord! He is worth waiting for. He never disappoints the waiting soul.
While waiting keep up your spirits. Expect a great deliverance, and be ready to praise God for it.
The promise which should cheer you is in the middle of the verse — “He shall strengthen thine heart.” This goes at once to the place where you need help. If the heart be sound, all the rest of the system will work well. The heart wants calming and cheering; and both of these will come if it be strengthened. A forceful heart rests and rejoices, and throbs force into the whole man.
No one else can get at that secret urn of life, the heart, so as to pour strength into it. He alone who made it can make it strong. God is full of strength, and, therefore, He can impart it to those who need it. Oh, be brave; for the Lord will impart His strength to you, and you shall be calm in tempest, and glad in sorrow.
He who penned these lines can write as David did -“Wait, I say, on the Lord.” I do, indeed, say it. I know by long and deep experience that it is good for me to wait upon the Lord.
Come and meet the healing Jesus, our balm in Gilead (Jer 8:22; Jer 46:11). He is visiting the homes of the saints, are you ready to welcome Him in:
“But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell Him of her.” Mark 1:30
Very interesting is this little peep into the house of the Apostolic Fisherman. We see at once that household joys and cares are no hindrance to the full exercise of ministry, nay, that since they furnish an opportunity for personally witnessing the Lord’s gracious work upon one’s own flesh and blood, they may even instruct the teacher better than any other earthly discipline.
Some religion may decry marriage, but true Christianity and household life agree well together. Peter’s house was probably a poor fisherman’s hut, but the Lord of Glory entered it, lodged in it, and wrought a miracle in it. Should our little book be read this morning in some very humble cottage, let this fact encourage the inmates to seek the company of King Jesus.
God is oftener in little huts than in rich palaces. Jesus is looking round your room now, and is waiting to be gracious to you. Into Simon’s house sickness had entered, fever in a deadly form had prostrated his mother-in-law, and as soon as Jesus came they told Him of the sad affliction, and He hastened to the patient’s bed.
Have you any sickness in the house this morning? You will find Jesus by far the best physician, go to Him at once and tell Him all about the matter. Immediately lay the case before Him. It concerns one of His people, and therefore will not be trivial to Him. Observe, that at once the Saviour restored the sick woman; none can heal as He does.
We may not make sure that the Lord will at once remove all disease from those we love, but we may know that believing prayer for the sick is far more likely to be followed by restoration than anything else in the world; and where this avails not, we must meekly bow to His will by whom life and death are determined.
The tender heart of Jesus waits to hear our griefs, let us pour them into His patient ear.
Beloveth, the tender heart of Jesus waits to hear your griefs, are you ready to pour it out at His feet? Did you also read that Jesus is looking round your room now? Beloved, I am excited because heaven is breaking protocols for your sake. Ideally, Jesus knocks at the door of heart, then you open the door by responding at the knock at door of your heart but for your sake that protocol is broken. Beloved, He is in already, today is going to be wonderful! Am going all the way and God is waiting for to hear pray so that He will supply you answers.
Beloved, faith does it all. Have faith in God Jesus told us. Nothing is too difficult for God to do for you so get on your knee and receive you answers now. Don’t forget ‘faith is now’ while hope is in future. Faith is a substances….so whatever you are standing in, see it in your spirit that is given already and at the due time you shall have it. I believe in this strongly and so you should.
God of flesh, Your children again have come to You and with so much confidence I know You are more than able to do whatever that we asked in Jesus Name, therefore Father we lay at Your feet all our burden never to pick it up again. Do that which only You can do. Restore all that the devil have stolen in our lives and deliver us from all evil and wicked schemes of the wicked, perfect and make whole all that concerns us in Jesus Name I do pray.
Beloved, your heaven is open; open wide your mouth and He will fill it up. Be strong in your heart today, and see your answers delivers to you.
