Lord; How excellent is Your Name, How excellent is Your Name, How excellent is Your Name, How excellent is Your Name O! Lord. // Who is like unto Thee O! Lord, Who is like unto Thee O! Lord, among the gods who is like Thee, You are glorious in holiness, fearful in Praises, doing wonders alleluia.

Thank You Father for what You are doing, you will continue to do in our life, blessed be Thy Name forever and ever. As we gather to learn from Your feet again today Lord, make Your way plain before our eyes. Have Your way and us worthy of Your Praise in Jesus Name.

Beloved, how are doing? Hope you are doing great? Are you happy with the revelation power of God in our midst? If you, simple make a chuckle to the glory of God, often time we are too serious to notice that we have not laugh for the whole day, struggling with one issue or the other but we need this laugh as way to make our day good, be nice to people and make God happy with us because we will less strife to deal with. Praise the Lord.

Beloved, yes! yesterday we were charge to launch out  and let your net into the deep. Did it get you thinking as it got me? The Word of God is a life, is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and Spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Thank God for who He is, a victorious living is not by mere word rather it will work miracle and wonders in our lives save us from sin, liberate us where we need liberation, open our eyes of understanding, set us on high through revelation and wisdom. Praise the Lord.

Beloved, the topic of today is to help us to foresee the battle ahead. Yes! battle that goes with empowerment. The psalmist opened our eyes in Ps 23:5 – “Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:…” Thank God for His promises to back us up. Yes, to back us up. if not that has eye set upon us maybe we will have been consumed but thank God for Jesus who always protect us from all evil. Praise the Lord!

A lot of these promises you will see in Ps 91, I will suggest you read all, also read Ps 124:7 a powerful escape from the Lord for His children. Read Ps 141:10. As the Lord has spoken to us, the enemy is working hard to either make us to be afraid, hinder us, or  stop us from taking a step. Therefore, hear what the Word of God has for you below:

“Able to keep you from falling.” Jude 1:24

In some sense the path to heaven is very safe, but in other respects there is no road so dangerous. It is beset with difficulties. One false step (and how easy it is to take that if grace be absent), and down we go. What a slippery path is that which some of us have to tread! How many times have we to exclaim with the Psalmist, “My feet were almost gone, my steps had well nigh slipped.”

If we were strong, sure-footed mountaineers, this would not matter so much; but in ourselves, how weak we are! In the best roads we soon falter, in the smoothest paths we quickly stumble. These feeble knees of ours can scarcely support our tottering weight. A straw may throw us, and a pebble can wound us; we are mere children tremblingly taking our first steps in the walk of faith, our heavenly Father holds us by the arms or we should soon be down.

Oh, if we are kept from falling, how must we bless the patient power which watches over us day by day! Think, how prone we are to sin, how apt to choose danger, how strong our tendency to cast ourselves down, and these reflections will make us sing more sweetly than we have ever done, “Glory be to Him, who is able to keep us from falling.”

We have many foes who try to push us down. The road is rough and we are weak, but in addition to this, enemies lurk in ambush, who rush out when we least expect them, and labour to trip us up, or hurl us down the nearest precipice. Only an Almighty arm can preserve us from these unseen foes, who are seeking to destroy us. Such an arm is engaged for our defence.

He is faithful that hath promised, and He is able to keep us from falling, so that with a deep sense of our utter weakness, we may cherish a firm belief in our perfect safety, and say, with joyful confidence,

“Against me earth and hell combine,

But on my side is power divine;

Jesus is all, and He is mine!”

Are you making that confession? That with Jesus on side you a an overcomer Praise the Lord. Thank God for His power that will bring to past His Word to reality in our lives. Glory be to Jesus say

“And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.” Jeremiah 15:21

Note the glorious personality of the promise. I will, I will. The Lord Jehovah Himself interposes to deliver and redeem His people. He pledges Himself personally to rescue them. His own arm shall do it, that He may have the glory. Here is not a word said of any effort of our own which may be needed to assist the Lord. Neither our strength nor our weakness is taken into the account, but the lone I, like the sun in the heavens, shines out resplendent in all-sufficience.

Why then do we calculate our forces, and consult with flesh and blood to our grievous wounding? Jehovah has power enough without borrowing from our puny arm. Peace, ye unbelieving thoughts, be still, and know that the Lord reigneth. Nor is there a hint concerning secondary means and causes. The Lord says nothing of friends and helpers: He undertakes the work alone, and feels no need of human arms to aid Him.

Vain are all our lookings around to companions and relatives; they are broken reeds if we lean upon them—often unwilling when able, and unable when they are willing. Since the promise comes alone from God, it would be well to wait only upon Him; and when we do so, our expectation never fails us. Who are the wicked that we should fear them? The Lord will utterly consume them; they are to be pitied rather than feared.

As for terrible ones, they are only terrors to those who have no God to fly to, for when the Lord is on our side, whom shall we fear? If we run into sin to please the wicked, we have cause to be alarmed, but if we hold fast our integrity, the rage of tyrants shall be overruled for our good. When the fish swallowed Jonah, he found him a morsel which he could not digest; and when the world devours the church, it is glad to be rid of it again.

In all times of fiery trial, in patience let us possess our souls. Yes! in patience let us possess our souls. It really pays to be patiently wait on God for He is able to do more than we can ever imagine or ever think about. He is our deliverer in hour of danger. Because He knows the beginning from the end, He will deliver us and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Look up, look beyond now, tarry while it last but at the end, He will show His Mighty power. The story of Jonah is wonder to behold. Even death could not keep Lazarus in the grave when he has Jesus as his best friend.

Are you a friend to Jesus? Check and make sure that Jesus is your dearest friend then your safety is assured. He will deliver from all the evil that creeps in your way. Praise the Lord.

Run with these promises in our text today then you are unstoppable. He is able to keep you from falling even as you obey Him and launch out. He will deliver from the snare of the wicked even the terrible amongst  them.

Continual make the declaration below:

Against me earth and hell combine,

But on my side is power divine;

Jesus is all, and He is mine!”

Remain blessed in the Lord
