Faithful God we thank you. We Praise Your Name. Thank You for the gift of a beautiful week, You took us by hand daily and brought us home to the glory of Your Name. You are our everlasting joy. There is none like Thee. Thank for the miracle of the week. Thank You for testimonies that are abound. Thank You for healings, deliverances and restoration that only can do. Blessed be thou Name forever and ever.
Beloved, Friday is here and our PCL session is ringing bell!!!!!!!. How has week been? Glorious, challenging, blessing, wonderful, beautiful, Woo! Let’s give a clap offering unto the Lord. The Lord has been gracious unto us glory be His Name alone.
Beloveth, have the ministration been a blessing to you as well. Share your testimonies us and the Lord will bless you. Go through and apply to your life. God will bless you and honour you as you obey.
I believe we have been seeking the face of God since the beginning of the year and I trust God has been speaking into your situation like never before.
Today we will be considering one aspects of God’s command that will trigger blessings from above upon you as you obey. God called us to give to the poor around us, the church and to a noble course that will further God’s plan agenda for His people.
Is a command and we must be up and doing in obeying it. Some find it difficult to give. Some will give you the worst of what they have. Some will not even give you at all no matter how desperately the need is. While some others will only give when you are dead and gone. 3
But that is not the plan of God for His children. He want you and I to be a blessing to those around us or those He placed on our way. Let us stop giving grudging or with resentment. And the Lord will honour us too.
Giving is part of worship and God loves a cheerful giver. Give will a grateful heart, give will a liberal mind and the Lord will honour your giving and pour blessings upon you.

“The liberal soul shall be made fat.” Prov. 11:25
If I desire to flourish in soul, I must not hoard up my stores, but must distribute to the poor. To be close and niggardly is the world’s way to prosperity, but it is not God’s way, for He saith, “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, and it tendeth to poverty.” Faith’s way of gaining is giving. I must try this again and again; and I may expect that as much of prosperity as will be good for me will come to me as a gracious reward for a liberal course of action.
Of course, I may not be sure of growing rich. I shall be fat, but not too fat. Too great riches might make me as unwieldy as corpulent persons usually are, and cause me the dyspepsia of worldliness, and perhaps bring on a fatty degeneration of the heart. No, if I am fat enough to be healthy, I may well be satisfied; and if the Lord grants me a competence, I may be thoroughly content.
But there is a mental and spiritual fatness which I would greatly covet, and these come as the result of generous thoughts toward my God, His church, and my fellow-men. Let me not stint, lest I starve my heart. Let me be bountiful, and liberal; for so shall I be like my Lord. He gave Himself for me: shall I grudge Him anything?
Why do God command us to give? Remember He always has an eternal perspective in His plan and approach. The worth of an individual was the plan of salvation. Jesus death and resurrection was to save man from hell. Beloved, the worth of an individual is supreme in God’s eye so let be part of plan and give liberally. For a liberal soul shall be made fat. Praise the Lord. Let’s keep going:
The Worth Of The Individual
The story is told of a little girl walking along the beach who discovers hundreds of starfish washed up onto the shore, dying from the heat of the sun. Here and there, as she skips along, she tosses a starfish back into the surf. They will live while the hundreds remaining on the shore will die.
Upon returning home the little girl tells here mother what she has done. “What you did with those few starfish doesn’t make any difference,” replies her mother.
“Well it made a difference with the ONEs I threw back,” retorts the little girl.
- Jesus left 99 sheep for the ONE who was lost. It made a difference to him. (Luke 15:1-7)
- Jesus healed ONE man by a pool of water. It made a difference to him. (John 5:1-17)
- Jesus walked 90 miles through the desert to find and win Philip. It made a difference to him. (John 1:43)
Some ONE probably singled you out – as an INDIVIDUAL. And it made a difference to YOU.
In a world where numbers impress; where people are herded around like cattle and analyzed, counted, and generalized to death, keep in mind the fact that God still died for each INDIVIDUAL.
And the deep, significant differences made in people’s lives are usually done at the INDIVIDUAL level: ONE by ONE, and ONE on ONE.
Paul understood the worth of the INDIVIDUAL: “As you well know, we dealt with you ONE by ONE, as a father deals with his children.” (1 Thessalonians 2:11 neb)
QUESTION: Has God placed a beached and parched “starfish” across your path who could use a helping hand in getting to the cool healing waters of Jesus Christ, the living water? (John 4:14). Why not decide today… this week… to make a difference to him?
You have a responsibility to play in God’s Kingdom, be part of the liberal givers. Give cheerful and the Lord will reward you with what the Psalmist wrote in Ps 41:1-3. If God places a value on an individual, you cannot do otherwise.
