Beloveth… this PCL we will be by the grace of God be considering “Men and Women of Faith”… God is looking for men and women of faith… are you one?

What makes the difference between one believer and the other… why are people born in one family or in church… one is fervent and the other is domicile… The difference is Power-

Power , the essence of Christian witness- in mark 16:8- the disciple, before Jesus ascended to heaven, did not believe. The same unbelief is found in Mark 16:11. Then two verses later in verse 13, the same four words- they did not believe. Again, in verse 14, the same four words- they did not believe. But what amazes me most is the fact that in the next verse, verse 15, Jesus said to these unbelieving and fearful believers, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

If I had been there, please allow me to say this, I would have approached Jesus from behind and whispered into His ear, “Master, Lord, don’t You know that the disciples You just gave the supreme Commission to are a bunch of unbelievers? They will never be able to do it.” I think Jesus would have turned around, put His finger over His lips and said quietly to me, “You don’t know that I have a secret.”

What was the secret? In verse 20, we read, “they went out and preaches everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the Word through the accompanying sings, Amen.” what happened between verse 14 and verse 20? Chronologically, Acts chapter 2 happened. The disciple walked out of weakness and arrived at the power to do what Jesus had commissioned  them to execute: “ But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witness to me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). In the same way, we all can leave weakness and step into unending power… can I hear a believer thunder Power!!!! Shout Jesus!!!

Beloveth when you receive power which is the tongue of fire that rested on the disciple… the Divine fire that comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit changes your status from ordinary to extraordinary. You take on a Divine mandate and assignment so that you no longer live for yourself; you surrender your fears and ambitions and take on a Divine purpose. You become a chosen vessel.

Moses had seen bushes and shrubs every day for 40years. He did not go around gazing at or studying bushes. Wilderness bushes are not fascinating, cultivated, colorful or blossoming. They are quite unbeautiful. But God took one of them, very ordinary by itself and made it extraordinary. It burst into flames – but was not consumed (Exodus 3:2). Then He spoke from it- the voice from the burning bush. Moses, in a way, was like the bush- ordinary and even of a lower grade. He was just a piece of driftwood- a fugitive murderer hiding from justice with no future. He was a mere Shepherd, and “all Shepherd are to the Egyptians” (Genesis 46:34 NIV).

Moses saw that bush burning without it turning to ash. He had no idea that this was a life-changing moment. Curious, he turned aside at it in fascination. Then, a Divine flame leaped from the bush and transferred into His very soul. Moses, a mortal, became a Flame Man.”He makes… His servants of fire” “(Hebrews 1:7 NIV). On that day when you turn aside to see the burning bush, you will no longer be ordinary.

If the above descriptions look like you or what want to turn from ordinary man to extraordinary man/woman useable by God… then come along with us for more below:

God Is Looking For Men And Women Of F-A-I-T-H

FAITHFUL — There are a lot of people out there proclaiming how good they are, but few who actually deliver the goods.

Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?” (Proverbs 20:6)

AVAILABLE — Many of us are so overcommitted we resemble a person skiing down the hill in front of an avalanche: There is no margin for error and disaster is imminent.

Are you emotionally available to God so that if He were to speak to you, you would be able to hear and respond to His gentle voice?

He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streetsAnd after the fire came a gentle whisperElijah heard it… ” (Isaiah 42:2; 1 Kings 19:12b, 13a)

INTERDEPENDENT — Some of us parallel the fierce independence of Rambo, wanting to be and do the whole show. Over the long haul however, loners don’t make it spiritually. A study of 1 Corinthians 12-14, and related passages, clearly teach and illustrate the principle of interdependence, rather than independence. The fact is that we need each other.

TEACHABLE — Tell me, as you mature and gain in stature, are you still willing to learn from the most humble of sources?

Better a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king who no longer knows how to take warning.” (Ecclesiastes 4:13)

HOLY — The reality is that God uses clean vessels:

In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” (2 Timothy 2:20, 21)

Are you one of them?

Beloveth, again the question comes “Are you one of them.”

God is looking for that man and woman who will lay down their ambitions for His mission… to such men He is also committed to make them “Flames of fire” Praise the Name of Jesus…

Don’t be left out… make yourself useable instruments unto good works according to God’s Word….

And as you do be ready for explosion…. Spiritual and physical… in Jesus Name…
