Heavenly Father, we thank You, we bless Your Holy Name. We adore You we give you praise we give you adoration in Jesus Name. Glory be to You Father. Who is like unto Thee. In heaven, You are God, on earth, You reigneth forever.

Beloved, we are in God’s presence today, we are before a God that always listens when we call. Can someone shout alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever seen yourself in a situation you are complaining or saying something and no one is listening to you? Have found yourself in a situation where you are discover that everything you are saying is falling on a deaf ear? But that is not so with God. He listens to the very sighing of your heart. God listens to every heartbeats of your heart even your cries He listen.

Men may fail to listen to you but my God will never fail to listen to you.

Are weary or tried of life and event happening around you, come with me as we come before a God that never fail to listen to the weary souls and trying hands.

Beloved, He will listen to you, let’s get going:

“The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.” Ps. 6:9

The experience here recorded is mine. I can set to my seal that God is true. In very wonderful ways He has answered the prayers of His servant many and many a time. Yes, and He is hearing my present supplication, and He is not turning away His ear from me. Blessed be His holy name!

What then? Why, for certain the promise which lies sleeping in the Psalmist’s believing confidence is also mine. Let me grasp it by the hand of faith: “The Lord will receive my prayer.” He will accept it, think of it, and grant it in the way and time which His loving wisdom judges to be best.

I bring my poor prayer in my hand to the great King, and He gives me audience, and graciously receives my petition. My enemies will not listen to me, but my Lord will. They ridicule my tearful prayers, but my Lord does not; He receives my prayer into His ear and His heart.

What a reception this is for a poor sinner! We receive Jesus, and then the Lord receives us and our prayers for His Son’s sake. Blessed be that dear name which franks our prayers so that they freely pass even within the golden gates. Lord, teach me to pray, since thou hearest my prayers.

Yes! Is someone ready to pray! Beloved, the next question I have for you today is “what are you becoming?” wondering what I am saying. Okay come along with me as we do some discovery:

                                  What Are You Becoming?

The gods we worship write their names on our faces, be sure of that. And a person will worship something, have no doubt about that either. One may think tribute is paid in secret, in the dark recesses of his or her heart, but it is not. That which dominates imagination and thoughts will determine life and character. Therefore it behooves us to be careful what we are worshipping, for what we are worshipping we are becoming.

For a while we may appear to defy gravity by juggling our secret inner imagination and thoughts with our external world of studied conformity to accepted norms. In fact, some of us should get an Oscar for our acting ability!

God cautions us however, that sooner or later, the truth will emerge: “You may be sure that your sin will find you out.” (Numbers 32:23)

Either:

  • God will expose our deepest secrets:

What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.” (Luke 12:3)

  • Or we will come to a point where we will tire of acting. It is then that the true life and character that has dominated our thoughts and imagination will bubble to the surface for all to see.

Perhaps that is why some older people are so unpleasant to be around. Having grown weary of acting in an “acceptable” manner, they are now reaping what they have sown these many years by allowing their true inner imagination and thoughts to find expression.

Dont be under any illusion: You cannot make a fool of God! A mans harvest in life will depend entirely on what he sows. If he sows for his own lower nature his harvest will be the decay and death of his own nature. If he sows for the Spirit he will reap the harvest of everlasting life by that Spirit.” (Galatians 6:7, 8 – Phillips Translation)

QUESTION: Just what is it that dominates your imagination and thoughts? Are you pleased with the fact that you are in the process of becoming what you have been thinking and dreaming about?

Dearly beloved, what are you becoming? In your worship, are calling on true God or you are deceiving yourself in the place of prayer? We read it we cannot fool God and ever a man sows He must reap. What are sowing, harvest time is near, what will you harvest? May God help us in Jesus Name.

Beloved, f you know that God listens when you call on Him, what are you waiting for? Call Him now and get answers to your prayers. Wait patiently on Him and you will be glad you did.

O! Father, listen to us as we pray in Jesus Name!

Remain bless in the Lord.
