We are victorious

Yes, we are victorious,

Glory be to God, Who has given us victory. Alleluia!

Who is like unto Thee O! Lord, among the gods who can be compared with Thee. You Greater than the greatest; You are Higher than the highest; You the Ancient One; the Beginning and the End. There is none like You, Lord.

In heaven You are God; on earth You remaineth God. On land; In the sea, Lord, You are God. Glorious God, we bow before You and declare Your goodness over all the earth.

Children of God, will you shout Alleluia to the Lord? “For in vain do the heathen rage, in vain do they imagine vain things. The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and His anointed, saying, let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh and the Lord shall have them in derision, He shall speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His displeasure… the Lord hath said unto me, thou art my son; this day have I begotten Thee. Ask of me and I shall give Thee the heathen for thine inheritance and the uttermost part of the earth for thy possession. Thou shall break them with a rod of iron; thou shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel”. (Ps 2:1-9)

Child of God, this is what the Sovereign Lord had decreed and so shall it be. Hear me, their evil counsel will only move you to your desired heaven and they will gnash their teeth in return.

This is the first Wednesday in 2015, another “Time Out” with the Lord.  Are you ready? Have you been fasting and praying for your advancement this year? You are not permitted to stay on a spot this year. I pray for you that every spirit of stagnation be destroyed in Jesus Name and anything that has held you bound this day is terminated by the blood of Jesus. Amen!

However, if you have not been connecting well to the source of power – The Lord Jesus. The message below dealt with intimacy. Is your relationship with God strong enough? If yes, good! But if not, then you must do something or your batteries will go flat any moment. Your batteries must be fully charged to possess your dominion.

Beloved, the high light below might be reasons why your connection is poor, let’s go:

If Intimacy With Christ Seems A Distant Reality

If intimacy with Christ seems a distant reality, there may be a couple of possibilities as to why:

 (1) You do not have God’s Word in your heart

 (2) You are not obeying the Word of God.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me;    and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

God calls us to simple, unequivocal obedience of His Word. Often, however in our ignorance or rebellion we:

  • Don’t know what the Word of God says:

God to Adam: “from the treeyou shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:17)

Eve to Satan: “God has said, You shall not eat from it or touch it… ” (Genesis 3:3) Eve, after adding to God’s Word, soon succumbs to Satan’s seduction.

  • Challenge the authority of the Word of God:

And the serpent said (to Eve)… ‘You surely shall not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it (the tree) your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.‘” (Genesis 3:4, 5)

  •  Water down the Word of God:

Many peddle (and)adulterate the Word of God… ” (2 Corinthians 2:17; 3:2)

  •  Twist the Word of God:

The untaught and unstable distort (the Word of God)to their own destruction.” (2 Peter 3:16)

The intimacy with Christ we long for is based on a childlike understanding and response to the Word of God. Do we have the courage, faith and will to seek out, discover and obey the Word in this manner?

If I may ask again, do you have the word of God in your heart? If you do; do you obey it? Sometimes, we want to worship God in our own terms, but that is not for God, He is principled and if He must go all the way with you, it must be in His terms not yours. He is the one in- charge not you. He is your Maker, the Creator of the whole universe. Praise the Lord!

In 2 Tim 3:16-17, “All scriptures is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works”. Beloved, the Word of God is what equips you for the journey ahead and you cannot afford to go without it, so get the Word and you are good to go. Also in Eph 6:17, the word of God is the sword of the Spirit.

Brethren, if you are ready for a battle and you have no sword, how ready are you? How do you defend yourself in the battle field? The need for the Word of God cannot be over emphasis, you must read, study and meditate therein (2 Tim. 2:15). That way, you will shield yourself from the fiery dart of the enemy, praise the Lord!

Still on our victory stride, the Lord is not only speaking vengeance to your enemies He is also telling you that He is your God. Dearly, this is no mean promise and we must take full advantage of it, come along my dear:

“I will be their God.” Jeremiah 31:33

Christian! here is all thou canst require. To make thee happy thou wantest something that shall satisfy thee; and is not this enough? If thou canst pour this promise into thy cup, wilt thou not say, with David, “My cup runneth over; I have more than heart can wish”? When this is fulfilled, “I am thy God,” art thou not possessor of all things?

Desire is insatiable as death, but He who filleth all in all can fill it. The capacity of our wishes who can measure? but the immeasurable wealth of God can more than overflow it. I ask thee if thou art not complete when God is thine? Dost thou want anything but God? Is not His all-sufficiency enough to satisfy thee if all else should fail? But thou wantest more than quiet satisfaction; thou desirest rapturous delight.

Come, soul, here is music fit for heaven in this thy portion, for God is the Maker of Heaven. Not all the music blown from sweet instruments, or drawn from living strings, can yield such melody as this sweet promise, “I will be their God.” Here is a deep sea of bliss, a shoreless ocean of delight; come, bathe thy spirit in it; swim an age, and thou shalt find no shore; dive throughout eternity, and thou shalt find no bottom. “I will be their God.” If this do not make thine eyes sparkle, and thy heart beat high with bliss, then assuredly thy soul is not in a healthy state.

But thou wantest more than present delights—thou cravest something concerning which thou mayest exercise hope; and what more canst thou hope for than the fulfillment of this great promise, “I will be their God”? This is the masterpiece of all the promises; its enjoyment makes a heaven below, and will make a heaven above.

Dwell in the light of thy Lord, and let thy soul be always ravished with His love. Get out the marrow and fatness which this portion yields thee. Live up to thy privileges, and rejoice with unspeakable joy.

Beloved, these promises from the Lord calls for celebration, your calling on the Name of the Lord today will not be in vain. He had already placed the cards down for you to see the “joker” you are getting. So ride on, pray until you break through.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
