Rest Is a Gift

When I come into presence am so happy, when I come into Your presence am so glad. In Your presence there is anointing, Your Spirit will surround me, in Your presence, anointing breaks the yoke. Jesus what a Wonder You are.  You are so precious so Good and so Kind. You Who shines like a bright morning star, Jesus what a Wonder You Are!

Holy Father, worship Thee for the gift of another day. Thank You for the miracle of sleeping and waking up. Of sound mind and vitality. Blessed Redeemer come and take Your Place in our lives today in Jesus Name!

Beloveth, how you are doing? How was your encounter with the King yesterday? Testimonies of His doing are all around us and Faithful is our God. Have you tested of Lord? Can you testify of His goodness in your life?

Yesterday, He bid you come! Today, He is promising you rest. The interesting thing here is that the second promise depend so largely in your accepting the first. I tried to explain it yesterday, when you come to the Lord then you will enjoy the privileges that comes along with it.

I made a promise at the beginning of the week that we will be explaining more on the “Potency” of God on the faith clinic day. The potency of God is incomprehensible and way beyond us but what I say here is that before God will start anything in your life, He has already concluded it. Therefore all you need to do is to ask Him to bring to past His plan concerning the situation at hand other than you fretting and worrying unnecessarily.

God’s promises to us is according to His size. Therefore, not even the highest mountain can withstand His presence (Ps 29:6; 114:6). Praise God. He made all things with a spoken Word, so they will surrender to Him at His bidding.

The prophetic Word of the Lord has been pronounced concerning us as ministry, is left for you to accept it or treat it with levity. As for me and my household, we believe that the Spirit God has gone ahead of us to accomplish the sayings of the Lord in our individual lives (2 Pet 1:20-21).

Ours is to daily find out how to enter into those promises by daily searching the scripture, praying our way to breakthrough and being diligent in the works of our hands. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matt. 11:28

We who are saved find rest in Jesus. Those who are not saved will receive rest if they come to Him, for here He promises to ‘give” it. Nothing can be freer than a gift; let us gladly accept what He gladly gives. You are not to buy it, nor to borrow it; but to receive it as a gift.

You labor under the lash of ambition, covetousness, lust, or anxiety: He will set you free from this iron bondage, and give you rest. You are “laden” — yes, “heavy laden” with sin, fear, care, remorse, fear of death; but if you come to Him, He will unload you. He carried the crushing mass of our sin, that we might no longer carry it. He made Himself the great Burden-bearer, that every heavy laden one might cease from bowing down under the enormous pressure.

Jesus gives rest. It is so. Will you believe it? Will you put it to the test? Will you do so at once? Come to Jesus, by quitting every other hope, by thinking of Him, believing God’s testimony about Him, and trusting everything with Him. If you thus come to Him, the rest which He will give you will be deep, safe, holy, and everlasting. He gives a rest which develops into heaven, and He gives it this day to all who come to Him.

Is someone daring to take God at His word? his testimonies concerning Jesus – at mention of his Name every knees shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord (Isa 45:23; Rom 14:11; Php 2:10; Jn 4:10,13-14; Jn 14:6;Jn 15:4;Rev 21:6).

The choice is ours to believe or not to, but we must remember that we live with our choices. Going through the next message will help us a great deal:

Between Stimulus And Response, We Have The Opportunity To Choose

Freedom of choice! How we love it!

What we don’t like is the responsibility that accompanies our choices… especially when the consequences of our choices take us sideways. So we rationalize:

“I came from a dysfunctional family.”

“My father never told me he loved me.”

“The devil made me do it.” (Flip Wilson)

Perhaps for too long we have indulged in this thing called LIBERTY: Making choices without bearing the responsibility of those choices. In the U. S. we have the STATUE OF LIBERTY on the East Coast. Maybe what we need is a STATUE OF RESPONSIBILITY on the West Coast. We could all then choose to live somewhere between LIBERTY and RESPONSIBILITY!

“BETWEEN STIMULUS AND RESPONSE, WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE”

Often, when given choices, we choose poorly as did the Jews when Christ offered them intimacy and protection:

O Jerusalem, JerusalemHow often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Behold, your house is being left to you desolate.” (Matthew 23:37, 18)

Joshua, on the other hand, stands out as one who responded correctly in making the right choice:

Choose for yourselves today whom you will servebut as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

BETWEEN STIMULUS AND RESPONSE WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE.

We may not always be able to control the stimulus that confronts us, but we can choose to respond correctly. Ultimately, the battlefield of our spiritual lives lies in the will: How and what we choose will reflect the very core of our secret life in God.

Beloved, how well are you responding to the choices you make knowing that there consequences. Jesus could have opted not to go to the cross despite the pains he chose to do the will of his Father. Once again what choices are making today? Be reassured you will meet it tomorrow no doubt. May God help us to make the right choices in Jesus Name.

Don’t forget, we are God’s people living on the promises of His Word, hold on to Him for those who trust in Him shall never be confounded (1 Pet 2:6). Had He said it; He will perform it just wait patiently. Concerning the reassurance of the prophetic word read Isa 41:17- 20.

Come unto Me

Come praise the Lord all yea servants of the Lord. O Mighty Jesus thank You (2x) we have nothing to give You but to say thank You Lord, O Mighty Jesus thank You.

Blessed Redeemer, Wonderful Counsellor, the Great I Am that I Am, the Alpha and the Omega. The Great One in battle, the Rock of Ages, the Ancient of Days. Blessed be thy Holy Name. We come before You to praise Your Holy Name.

Beloved, today gonna be great because we serve a Great God Who specializes in doing great things. Praise the Lord. Who can battle with the Lord? Our Father is Mighty in battle. The battle over your life is over today in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, as you pray today, the Lord Who by His Mighty hand wipe off the enemies of Israel is ready to do same for you but you must engage yourself to pray and break through, than you will see God as your Jehovah-nissi (Ex 17:15).

Jesus is calling on you today to come unto Him. Will you heed o His calling? Will you come as He is calls?  For he who come will receive from Him. He will give you rest. Rest from all your enemies. Both seen and unseen, know and unknown. If someone is happy shout a big alleluia!

As I said earlier, today is going to be great. Your concern is His concern. He who bids you come will take care of you. He will neither leave you nor forsake you. Your lines is falling in pleasant places, all you need do is to come.

If you are still living in sin, this call is also for you. He will cleanse you, He will purge you, He will make you whole but you must first come to Him (accept as your Lord) for all this to be delivered to you. Just click here and accept Him as your personal Savior and this package will be delivered to you. Praise the Lord. For this is the reason He came- to save you.

Come as we discover more from Him Who bid us come. He knows the way all you need to do is follow Him. He is never tried but will refresh you if you grow weary on the way (Jn 7:37-38). Come as He bids you come; come as we fellowship together in one accord:

“Come unto me.” Matthew 11:28

The cry of the Christian religion is the gentle word, “Come.” The Jewish law harshly said, “Go, take heed unto thy steps as to the path in which thou shalt walk. Break the commandments, and thou shalt perish; keep them, and thou shalt live.” The law was a dispensation of terror, which drove men before it as with a scourge; the gospel draws with bands of love. Jesus is the good Shepherd going before His sheep, bidding them follow Him, and ever leading them onwards with the sweet word, “Come.” The law repels, the gospel attracts. The law shows the distance which there is between God and man; the gospel bridges that awful chasm, and brings the sinner across it.

From the first moment of your spiritual life until you are ushered into glory, the language of Christ to you will be, “Come, come unto me.” As a mother puts out her finger to her little child and woos it to walk by saying, “Come,” even so does Jesus. He will always be ahead of you, bidding you follow Him as the soldier follows his captain. He will always go before you to pave your way, and clear your path, and you shall hear His animating voice calling you after Him all through life; while in the solemn hour of death, His sweet words with which He shall usher you into the heavenly world shall be—”Come, ye blessed of my Father.”

Nay, further, this is not only Christ’s cry to you, but, if you be a believer, this is your cry to Christ—”Come! come!” You will be longing for His second advent; you will be saying, “Come quickly, even so come Lord Jesus.” You will be panting for nearer and closer communion with Him. As His voice to you is “Come,” your response to Him will be, “Come, Lord, and abide with me. Come, and occupy alone the throne of my heart; reign there without a rival, and consecrate me entirely to Thy service.”

Do you resist this call as He beckons on you to come. He knows you even from your mother’s womb. He knows you more than you knew yourself, pray that your rebellious nature be removed from you. Ask God to give you a pure heart to live a pure life. Praise the Lord!

“Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened.” Isaiah 48:8

 

It is painful to remember that, in a certain degree, this accusation may be laid at the door of believers, who too often are in a measure spiritually insensible. We may well bewail ourselves that we do not hear the voice of God as we ought, “Yea, thou heardest not.” There are gentle motions of the Holy Spirit in the soul which are unheeded by us: there are whisperings of divine command and of heavenly love which are alike unobserved by our leaden intellects.

Alas! we have been carelessly ignorant—”Yea, thou knewest not.” There are matters within which we ought to have seen, corruptions which have made headway unnoticed; sweet affections which are being blighted like flowers in the frost, untended by us; glimpses of the divine face which might be perceived if we did not wall up the windows of our soul. But we “have not known.” As we think of it we are humbled in the deepest self-abasement. How must we adore the grace of God as we learn from the context that all this folly and ignorance, on our part, was foreknown by God, and, notwithstanding that foreknowledge, He yet has been pleased to deal with us in a way of mercy!

Admire the marvellous sovereign grace which could have chosen us in the sight of all this! Wonder at the price that was paid for us when Christ knew what we should be! He who hung upon the cross foresaw us as unbelieving, backsliding, cold of heart, indifferent, careless, lax in prayer, and yet He said, “I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour… Since thou wast precious in My sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life“!

O redemption, how wondrously resplendent dost thou shine when we think how black we are! O Holy Spirit, give us henceforth the hearing ear, the understanding heart!

Is someone making this prayer right now? He loved while we are yet sinners. He gave His life up on the cross, He laid it down not that He was coarse into it but He did of His own (Jn 10:17-18). Beloved, the journey to the cross will never be in vain in your life; in mine in Jesus Name.

Pray that everything that Jesus took to the cross is crucified forever and will never raise again in your life in Jesus Name. And for anything that is questioning your heritage in Christ be burnt to ashes by the fire of Holy Ghost in Jesus Name. Every of your enemies be smote today in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Let all the glory, all honour, all adoration belongs to our Father who specializes in doing great things for us in Jesus Name.

A Pure Heart

How great are You, Lord. How great are you (2x), How great are You, Lord./ I have made You too small in my eyes O Lord, forgive me; I have believed in a lie that You were unable to help. But now, O Lord, I see my wrong Heal my heart and show Yourself strong; and in my eyes and with my song. O Lord, be magnified. O Lord, be magnified.

Father in heaven we thank You. You are Faithful and Dependable. We hallow this day and we will bless You all the days of our lives in Jesus Name. We are nothing without You, besides You we are nothing, therefore we come to you in our nothingness to be filled by You to an overflowing. Purge our flirty heart and make it anew with the blood of Jesus.

Beloved, are you making the same prayer with me? Without holiness no man can see God. Is important we ask God to give us a pure heart that will guarantee or usher us into His presence (Ps 24:3-4; 15:2).Praise God!

Are you pure in heart? What are those things that make an individual impure before a holy God? Are you allowing evil and sinful thought to grow in your mind? Are you allowing lust to grow unchecked within you?

Does enmity, bitterness, jealousy, or unforgiveness remain in your life? Every area of our lives should reflect the holiness of God that is ours by salvation; out thought, so that nothing we think would be inappropriate for a child of God, our action, so that we are above reproach in all our relationships.

The summary of these is for us to live righteously. What are you doing presently to plant holiness in your life? (1 Pet 1:15). How are putting righteousness in your mind so that your thoughts are holy? Same with your relationships and activities, so that your life is above reproach? If you want to harvest a pure heart tomorrow, you must plant seeds of purity today:

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Who should I send?

Who will go for Us? I said: Here I am. Send me.—Isaiah 6:8

It takes a pure heart to see God (Matt. 5:8). You can attend church services, read your Bible, and pray, but if sin fills your heart, you will not see God. You will know when you have encountered God because your life will no longer be the same.

Isaiah was concerned with the death of King Uzziah, the able king of Judah, but was disoriented to his heavenly King. Then something happened that forever changed Isaiah’s life. God, in all His awesome majesty, appeared to him in the temple, surrounded by heavenly creatures. Instantly, God’s presence made Isaiah aware of his sinfulness.

One of the seraphim came to him with a burning coal and cleansed Isaiah of his sin. Immediately, Isaiah began to hear things he had never heard before. Now, he was aware of a conversation in heaven concerning who might be worthy to be God’s messenger to the people. This prompted Isaiah’s eager response: “Here am I! Send me.” Now that God had cleansed Isaiah, he was aware of heavenly concerns and prepared to offer himself in God’s service. Whereas Isaiah had been preoccupied with earthly matters, now his only concern was the activity of God.

If you have become estranged from God and His activity, you need to experience His cleansing. Sanctification prepares you to see and hear God. It enables you to serve Him. Only God can purify your heart. Allow Him to remove any impurities that hinder your relationship with Him, and then your service to Him will have meaning as you offer Him your consecrated life.

Beloved, are you disoriented in what God is doing presently in your life because of what is going on in your thought? We, like Isaiah has to go through sanctification so that we can see and ear God speaks to us. so that we can live above reproach and impact the lost for Christ. Want To Impact The Lost For Christ?

Then stop complaining about life.

Did you know that a prerequisite to reflecting Christ and effectively sharing the Word of God is to stop the griping? Consider:

Do all things without grumbling or disputing, (so) that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocentabove reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life… ” (Philippians 2:14-16)

The fact that the people around you fornicate, steal your money and ideas, ogle your wife, rip off the company, smoke pot, and cheat on their income tax IS NOT UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR. That’s how people in a DYSFUNCTIONAL SOCIETY live. The technical term used in the Bible for such demeanor is sin.

Why then are we so surprised? And so angry? The “Rose Garden” ended the day the “First Couple” chose to eat the wrong fruit. We need to settle the fact that tough times for followers of Christ is now the norm — A training ground in preparing us for eternity:

Through many tribulations we (believers) must enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:21)

Israel failed in this regard. As they trekked across the desert from Egypt to   the Promised Land they bellyached about almost everything. Of them Paul writes:

With most of them God was not well-pleasedfor theygrumbled: ‘… Why have you (Moses) brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this miserable food.‘” (1 Corinthians 10:5, 10; Numbers 21:5)

Once we accept the reason as to why we are here, we may find it easier to respond to Paul’s challenge in 1 Thessalonians 5:18:

In everything give thanks; for this is Gods will concerning you… “

Hopefully folks outside of Christ will notice when a thankful spirit prevails over an angry attitude, thereby opening the door to minister the word of Christ to them.

In addition truth stand the greatest medicine for an impure heart. In case you miss it somewhere before now, do not condemn yourself rather confess your sin and put an end to that cancer else it spread all over without control and that will be too bad for you.

Beloved, receive grace to consciously desire a pure heart in Jesus Name. I Love you as always but God loves you dearly (1Jn 4:8). Say this prayer from the depth of your heart “let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, o Lord, my Strength, and my Redeemer (Ps 19:14).

Taking Responsibility

Holy, Most Holy, is the Lord (3x). Let everything that has breathe praise the Lord and let the living rejoice, let everything has breathe praise the Lord!

Father, we thank You, we bless your Name, we glorify You, we give You praise, we adore You, we honour You, blessed be Thy Holy Name forever in Jesus Name.

Thank You for the beginning of another week. We are grateful and we come to You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You Father, for only the living can praise the Lord, and thank God I am a living being. Praise God.

Beloved, are you praising God with me? Are you worshiping the King of glory with me? Do not let situation weigh you down rather take up praise to level down every thought that is making itself mightier than God, praise God!

Begin to take captive everything surrounding you that wants you to bow down in fear and belittle your God. A song writer in his song sang “I believe in a lie…, I belittle my God” (Don Moen).

Yes sometime in our life we are confronted with the reality of our situations and this believing God and trusting Him looks more like a mirage than reality. I want you to know that God does not operate in the reality of your situations neither He does not operate in the facts of you situations rather God operates in His potency.

He is God and He remaineth God, nothing whatsoever can change it, not even your doubt. Why am saying this, this not faith clinic day. Yes, I know but there need to pass this across today as we step into the second week of month so that we get ourselves align with what and where the Spirit of God is leading us. Watch out as we will continue with this on Thursday.

Beloved, today we have a duty to perform. A call to take responsibility of our actions and inactions. No more making defenses for our failures. Yes! No more excuses. Is someone agreeing with me? If we don’t take responsibility, we will continue to go in a circle other than moving forward.

As the year is taking off we need to remind ourselves of this important decision so that at the end of the year, we all will be true manifestation of what God have promised us in the beginning.

Great danger is the act of ‘irresponsibility’ and God does not want irresponsibility children as His children. Come with me as we consider the message below, their excuses were not tenable before God, so learn from it before it will be late for you:

 

Taking Responsibility

Then the man replied, “The woman You gave to be with me—she gave me [some fruit] from the tree, and I ate.”—Genesis 3:12

Adam and Eve did everything they could to avoid taking responsibility for their sin. Adam blamed his wife: “She gave me of the tree.” He even pointed an accusing finger at God, saying it was “the woman, whom You gave me.” Eve blamed the serpent saying: “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” God ignored their excuses and announced the judgment they would face as consequences for their disobedience.

One of the dirges of mankind is that we refuse to take responsibility for our actions. We want to blame others for our problems: Our parents did not raise us well; our friends let us down; our pastor was not a good enough preacher; our children are rebellious; our employer is not sensitive enough; our spouse is not understanding; there is not enough time in the day . . . the excuses are plentiful! Yet forgiveness and restoration cannot happen until we accept full responsibility for our actions.

An obvious indication that we have not genuinely repented is that we make excuses for our sinful behavior. Nowhere in Scripture does God excuse one person’s sin because of someone else’s actions. If we make a habit of blaming others for our failures, we will not reach a point of honest repentance. God will hold us accountable for our own actions, not others (2 Cor. 5:10). Strive always to acknowledge and take responsibility for your own sins. It will free you to receive God’s forgiveness and to press on to spiritual maturity.

As we stepping into that reality, it is good for us to know that we need purity of heart and life to access all the promises of God to us. We take responsibility to live worthy before God. We must purify our heart as we encounter God and we take responsibility to live as a child of God by surrendering our lives to God and as we do that all the debris in our lives will be purge by God and our parched land shall be become a pool (Isa 35:7). Purity of Heart and Life

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matt. 5:8

Purity, even purity of heart, is the main thing to be aimed at. We need to be made clean within through the Spirit and the Word, and then we shall be clean without by consecration and obedience. There is a close connection between the affections and the understanding: if we love evil, we cannot understand that which is good. If the heart is foul, the eye will be dim. How can those men see a holy God who love unholy things?

What a privilege it is to see God here! A glimpse of Him is Heaven below! In Christ Jesus the pure in heart behold the Father. We see Him, His truth, His love, His purpose, His sovereignty, His covenant character, yea, we see Himself in Christ. But this is Only apprehended as sin is kept out of the heart. Only those who aim at godliness can cry, “Mine eyes are ever towards the Lord.”

The desire of Moses, “I beseech thee, show me thy glory,” can only be fulfilled in us as we purify ourselves from all iniquity. We shall “see him as he is”; and “every one that hath this hope in him purifieth himself.” The enjoyment of present fellowship and the hope of the beatific vision are urgent motives for purity of heart and life. Lord, make us pure in heart, that we may see Thee!

Is someone making that confession right now? If you want to see the promise of the year fulfilled in your life beloved, you must have a pure heart; you must live a pure life.

Pouting or Ponies?

Holy Spirit you are comforter, Holy Spirit take control as am walking the way, the road is so narrow, Holy Spirit lead me home. Jesus what a wonder You Are, You are so Precious so good and so kind, You Who shines like a bright morning star Jesus what a wonder You Are!

Indeed, Jesus is a wonder to the world, to His people they were still expecting Him; to the gentiles they knew not. Because the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them (2 Cor 4:4).

Beloved, thank God is Friday and for us here, is a day to examine the real issues of life vis-a-vis scripture. Put in another way- Practical Christian Living (PCL). It meant to guide us into all truth. Not just knowing the truth but living it out; put it to work. And I believe God will help us as we desire to do His will. Do I hear a believing Amen?

We are still x-raying “Fear” as a hindrances to most promises and plans in life. And I also said that God is not taking it lay low having cause Adam and Eve their places in the plan of God. Therefore when God called Abram to come out of his own people to a place He will show him.

He also made promises to Abram that seem to him delayed. God in chapter 15 of Genesis came to reassured Abram of His promise to him and ask Abram to offer sacrifice to Him. God made a covenant with Abram that same day to give the land where he was.

Beloved, God is telling you today “Fear not, Ifeoma (put our own name); I am thy Shield, and your exceeding great reward. If you believe it say I believe. And I want you to confess Ps 91: 2 (open your bible and read it). Also note, that in place of fear God is giving you joy (Ps16:11; 105;43)

We must confess the goodness of God. We must live as a glory unto the Living God (1Pet 2:3) let us stand in the liberty Christ has given to us (Gal 5:1; 2Tim 1:7).  He made a holy calling unto you, why are you still in bondage of fear? Not for your works but according to His purpose and grace before the beginning of the world. That Christ though His appearing will abolish death through the light of the gospel (2 Tim 1:9-10). Praise God!

Therefore come with me to find out where you belong via the light of gospel in today’s message:

 Pouting Or Ponies?

The story is told of two psychologists who sought to determine whether heredity or environment decided a child’s mental outlook. So they placed a pessimistic child in a lovely room chucked-full of beautiful toys, and an optimistic child in a room filled with horse manure. Hours later the pessimistic kid was found in the corner, pouting. “Why aren’t you playing with your toys,” the psychologists inquired? “Cause soon as I do, someone will come and take them away from me!” By contrast, they discovered the optimistic child enthusiastically swimming and diving through the manure. His reason? “Man! With all this manure, there’s gotta be a pony in here somewhere!”

Naturally, we are more drawn to the optimist! Here are a few reasons why:

Optimists see faith in God as their only way to ultimate fulfillment: “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4) (See Joshua 1:5-9; Psalm 33:11; 40:5)

Optimists have great love for others, starting with family and close friends: “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to usWe were gentle among you, like a mother caring for her little childrenYou know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God… ” (1 Thessalonians 2:8a, 7, 11, 12a) (See 1 Corinthians 13; 16:14)

Optimists are cheerful, always seeking a favorable twist to the world around them: “Do everything without complaining or arguing so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe… ” (Philippians 2:14, 15)

Optimists love what they do, and they put all their heart into it: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” (Colossians 3:23) (See 2 Chronicles 31:21; Ecclesiastes 9:10)

Optimists learn to forgive, thus minimizing the paralyzing emotions of anger, hate and selfishness: “Peter came to Jesus and asked, Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times? Jesus answered, I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times‘” (Matthew 18:21a, 22) (See Genesis 32:1-33:17; Proverbs 19:11; Matthew 6:11, 14; 11:25; Ephesians 4:31, 32)

Optimists have can-do attitudes. They refuse to let unfavorable odds get them down: “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13) (1 Samuel 23:1-5; Psalm 18:29; 2 Corinthians 3:4)

Optimists are not born. They are molded by their own attitudes: “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8) (See Romans 12:1, 2; Colossians 3:1-3)

Thomas Carlyle once wrote that “the block of granite which was an obstacle in the path of the weak, becomes a steppingstone in the path of the strong.” Today, by His strength let’s choose to turn our obstacles into steppingstones! After all, isn’t our future as bright as the promises of God?

Interesting story isn’t it. Is about our attitude to life that determines the turnout of events in our lives. Can you start looking up to God to help us and make us better?

Our next message very interesting passage in the Word of God. We encountered Lazarus and the Rich man early in the week and today again we are having this young man came to Christ to inquiry on how to get Eternal life (Matt 19:16- 25,). The question is “is wrong to be rich? Will all rich people go to hell? What about the poor, will all poor people go to heaven? Let’s find out what exactly the bible is saying concerning this:

 Can We Really Have It Both Ways?

So, this middle-aged man comes to Christ. By this time in his life, he has obtained the perks and privileges of wealth and success which have become the very source of his security, ease, and status: “The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it an unscalable wallThey have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. They are free from the burdens common to man; they are not plagued by human ills. Therefore pride is their necklacealways carefree, they increase in wealth.” (Proverbs 18:11; Psalm 73:3b-6,12b) (See Proverbs 10:15; Job 31:24, 25; Psalm 49:6-9; 62:10 ; Ecclesiastes 7:12)

From time to time he has had to compromise his integrity to get where he is. Discretely, of course. That is, he’s “played the game.” Now and then he may have actually taken advantage of a few folks. As James puts it: “Listen, you rich peopleYour wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corrodedYou have hoarded wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against youYou have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence… ” (James 5:1-5 – selected ) (See Deuteronomy 32:15; Nehemiah 9:25, 26; Job 20:15-29; Psalm 49:6-20)

And now, he has decided to follow Christ. But he faces a dilemma: “Can he truly follow Jesus and sustain his current lifestyle without continuing the very compromises it took to obtain the wealth and status in the first place?” Perhaps that is why Jesus made this comment after the rich young man walked out on Him: “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 19:24b) (See John 5:44)

You see, our middle-aged friend wants both the benefits of salvation and the privileges of wealth. In other words, he desires the best of both worlds. But can he in fact have it both ways?

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.” (Matthew 6:24) (See Joshua 24:15)

In many parts of the world, obtaining and sustaining wealth is close to unattainable without compromising one’s integrity. The jarring fact is that liars, the greedy, and swindlers will not enter heaven: “Do not be deceived: Neitherthieves nor the greedynor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of GodAll liarswill be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10 selected; Revelation 21:8b)

So tell me, are you radically committed to uncompromising integrity in conducting your business affairs? If you find that juggling a gold plated life style runs counter to living a life of purity and holiness, are you prepared to walk away from the former in order to sustain the latter? You and I may want to consider:

Without holiness no one will see the LordWhat good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Hebrews 12:14b; Matthew 16:26)

What can you say having gone through it? Let’s look at Heb 13:5-6. Are you loving money more than God? Are reverencing money more than God? Do you know that anything can represent money in your life, find what you value most and above God and put a check on it lest you miss what is important (Col 3:2).

May God help to have real values in life in Jesus Name. Have a loving weekend ahead, see you next week by God’s grace.

Blessed Redeemer, we worship You, we glorify Your Holy Name, we thank You for the mercies and kindness which passeth all understanding. God of mercy, we bow before Your Throne and worship You for Who You Are. Father, you are so dependable. You are so wonderful, incomprehensive, Ever Faithful. Thank You Lord forever in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, how are you doing today? You know what, you just have to feel good. You have to feel happy, you just have to rejoice in the Lord Your savior. No holds barred, because the Lord is still on the Throne. Why? You have a wonderful heritage in Christ Jesus. Why? Because you are wonderfully and gloriously made. Is someone hearing me?

Come on let us sing again, ‘Blessed the Lord O my soul. This is day He has made, alleluia, alleluia, Praise yea the Lord! I will lift up my hands, I will joyfully sing not for what He has done but for who He is. You are song that I sing, melody in my heart, the reason I live is to praise Your Name! He reigns 3x, forever more.

Our God is too faithful to fail. Therefore purge yourself of all unrighteousness and wait on Him. He will do what He says He will do. Don’t give up on God; for He will not give up on you. He is able to do more than you can ever imagine or thought of.

He made the heaven and all that is within it. He also created you for His own glory, why then will He abandon you if He has made you for His own Splendor. Therefore, every drabness in our lives must give way in Jesus Name.

Do not be afraid how this will come about because “your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon Thee. …though the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness over the people but the Lord shall arise upon Thee, and his glory shall be seen upon Thee (Isa 60:1-3).”

Beloved, if you agree with me, come let’s dig deeper into the Word of God for there lies our deliverance; there lies your light that will shine forth for the gentiles and will made rich your faith despite the storms of life. Praise the Lord.

“For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.” Ps. 9:18

Poverty is a hard heritage; but those who trust in the Lord are made rich by faith. They know that they are not forgotten of God; and though it may seem that they are overlooked in His providential distribution of good things, they look for a time when all this shall be righted. Lazarus will not always lie among the dogs at the rich man’s gate, but he will have his recompense in Abraham’s bosom.

Even now the Lord remembers His poor but precious sons. “I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me,” said one of old; and it is even so. The godly poor have great expectations. They expect the Lord to provide them all things necessary for this life and godliness; they expect to see all things working for their good; they expect to have all the closer fellowship with their Lord, who had not where to lay His head; they expect His Second Advent, and to share its glory.

This expectation cannot perish, for it is laid up in Christ Jesus, who liveth for ever; and because He lives, it shall live also. The poor saint singeth many a song which the rich sinner cannot understand. Wherefore, let us, when we have short commons below, think of the royal table above. The last supper. Are you looking forward to it? Are you living worthy of it? –a food for thought I guess.

Are The Storms Of Life Getting To You?

Then take a look at Matthew 7:24-27:

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

Several observations:

  • The storms of life descend on the righteous and the unrighteous alike.
  • The person who builds his house on the Word of God has a solid foundation: Rock.
  • The person who does not build his house on the Word of God has a shaky foundation: Sand.
  • The storms come from every direction:

Above: “The rains descended

Below: “The flood came

All sides: “The winds blew, and burst against the house.

Conclusion:

  • Those who go to the trouble of HEARING and APPLYING the Word of God will stand up under the storm.
  • Those who refuse to LISTEN to and OBEY God’s Word will not stand up under the storms of life.

You and I can count on storms in life! Whether we survive will depend upon the foundation we lay in God’s Word: HEARING and APPLYING. The choice is ours.

For emphasis sake, how far will go in our journey of life will depend largely how well we let in the Word of God in our lives to guide us. On that I believe we should invite God to order our steps in His Word.

Finally beloved, our level of encounter with God depends largely on our Word encounter. What we know is what enthrones us. Therefore, let us meditate on the Word of God daily to lighten every darkness within and around us and make our faith rich in God in Jesus Name!

Friend, Go up Higher

We are going higher 2x we are going higher higher higher everyday exceeding grace. Thank you Jesus, thank You my Lord, thank You Jesus thank You my dear Lord.

We thank You Lord for the gift of another day in Your presence. Faithful are You Lord, we return all the glory to You. We return all honour to you, we return all adorations to You, Lord be thou exalted in Jesus Name.

Come and have Your way in our lives today. Look with pity upon a wretched sinner like me and deliver me from all unrighteousness in Jesus Name.

Today is the first Wednesday of the year and we are glad to come together to pray as it is our tradition in the ministry. Beloved, firstly have to thank God for making it into the year 2016 according to His divine purpose for us. Thank Him for watching over us and His plan for us was not trucked by the devices of the enemy last year because He keep His Eye on us.

Secondly, we must humble ourselves  in reverence before the very Throne of God and plead for His forgiveness and mercy be granted unto us that our sin will not a barrier in seeking His ever abiding presence today.

When Adam and Eve heard the voice of God when He came visiting after their fall, they hid themselves out of fear. They thought they can hid from God. The truth remains that we cannot hid from God. He found them though their sin condemned them, He still showed pity on them by covering their nakedness.

Peradventure, there is someone among us today whose walk with God has been trunked by sin, will you at this time humble yourself before Him and ask for His forgiveness?  I believe God will forgive you and will welcome you back into His fold. Do not think for God, rather obey what He has instructed you to do, “if my people who are called by Name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (2 Chr 7:14; 1Jn 3:3-10).”

Beloved, do you want to enter into your dominion as promised by God this year. Humble yourself and ask for God’s forgiveness. He will heal your land. Your wilderness will turn into fruitful field and the fruitful field be counted for a forest (Isa 32:15).

Come on friend, let go up higher:

Friend, go up higher.” Luke 14:10

When first the life of grace begins in the soul, we do indeed draw near to God, but it is with great fear and trembling. The soul conscious of guilt, and humbled thereby, is overawed with the solemnity of its position; it is cast to the earth by a sense of the grandeur of Jehovah, in whose presence it stands. With unfeigned bashfulness it takes the lowest room.

But, in after life, as the Christian grows in grace, although he will never forget the solemnity of his position, and will never lose that holy awe which must encompass a gracious man when he is in the presence of the God who can create or can destroy; yet his fear has all its terror taken out of it; it becomes a holy reverence, and no more an overshadowing dread.

He is called up higher, to greater access to God in Christ Jesus. Then the man of God, walking amid the splendours of Deity, and veiling his face like the glorious cherubim, with those twin wings, the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ, will, reverent and bowed in spirit, approach the throne; and seeing there a God of love, of goodness, and of mercy, he will realize rather the covenant character of God than His absolute Deity.

He will see in God rather His goodness than His greatness, and more of His love than of His majesty. Then will the soul, bowing still as humbly as aforetime, enjoy a more sacred liberty of intercession; for while prostrate before the glory of the Infinite God, it will be sustained by the refreshing consciousness of being in the presence of boundless mercy and infinite love, and by the realization of acceptance “in the Beloved.”

Thus the believer is bidden to come up higher, and is enabled to exercise the privilege of rejoicing in God, and drawing near to Him in holy confidence, saying, “Abba, Father.”

“So may we go from strength to strength,

And daily grow in grace,

Till in Thine image raised at length,

We see Thee face to face.”

Beloved, have you gone up higher as bidden by Christ Himself? We must expunge fear from our heart and trust God enough to help us in hour of our needs. How interesting is for us to know that even our trialing time are God’s hand. I want to covert God’s presence as one package you must have in possession as you travel along this year.

“The night also is Thine.” Psalm 74:16

Yes, Lord, Thou dost not abdicate Thy throne when the sun goeth down, nor dost Thou leave the world all through these long wintry nights to be the prey of evil; Thine eyes watch us as the stars, and Thine arms surround us as the zodiac belts the sky. The dews of kindly sleep and all the influences of the moon are in Thy hand, and the alarms and solemnities of night are equally with Thee. This is very sweet to me when watching through the midnight hours, or tossing to and fro in anguish. There are precious fruits put forth by the moon as well as by the sun: may my Lord make me to be a favoured partaker in them.

The night of affliction is as much under the arrangement and control of the Lord of Love as the bright summer days when all is bliss. Jesus is in the tempest. His love wraps the night about itself as a mantle, but to the eye of faith the sable robe is scarce a disguise. From the first watch of the night even unto the break of day the eternal Watcher observes His saints, and overrules the shades and dews of midnight for His people’s highest good. We believe in no rival deities of good and evil contending for the mastery, but we hear the voice of Jehovah saying, “I create light and I create darkness; I, the Lord, do all these things.”

Gloomy seasons of religious indifference and social sin are not exempted from the divine purpose. When the altars of truth are defiled, and the ways of God forsaken, the Lord’s servants weep with bitter sorrow, but they may not despair, for the darkest eras are governed by the Lord, and shall come to their end at His bidding. What may seem defeat to us may be victory to Him.

“Though enwrapt in gloomy night,

We perceive no ray of light;

Since the Lord Himself is here,

‘Tis not meet that we should fear.”

Beloved, every siege of fear over your life is broken tonight in Jesus Name. Every spirit of wickedness that make a man to sin even against his will be destroy in every users of devotional in Jesus Name. Let the power of God from on high come up us as we call up on Him today and set us on high as we worship Him (2 Cor 5:19). Amen!

Beloved, no man can fight the spiritual fight in the energy of flesh (Ps 66:3) therefore I pray that the Spirit of “grace that makes great” rest upon us today in Jesus Name we do pray (Isa 41:17-20). Beloved, watch out you are turning into a wonder this year but you need to pray you way through to enter into your dominion as will be orchestrated by God Himself. So pray like never before (Col 4:2).

The year though is still young, many have experienced “come and see miracles as we speak’ so is time to stand up and be counted.

Finally, ask God to order your step in His Word and let no iniquity have dominion over you (Ps 119:133). Let the blood of Jesus wash you clean from your sin in Jesus Name. (Jn6:54-58; Heb 9:14).

Glorious God, Wonderful Redeemer, Ancient of Days, The Beginning and the End, The I Am that I AM, The Alpha and Omega, we worship You, we honour You, we glorify You. Blessed be Your Holy Name in Jesus Name.

Come and do Your miracles in our lives today, Lord! Come and change our destinies today we ask you in Jesus Name. For You are Alpha and Omega, we worship You my God, You are Worthy to be praise.

Beloveth, how are you doing? Am confident that you are blessed of the Lord. Thank you once again for being with us all the year round, thank you for your encouraging words and suggestion to make this work better. God will reward you abundantly in Jesus Name.

We are still on the subject matter “Fear”. In the bible times, our first parents Adam and Eve succumbed to the deceit of satan out of fear. They did not trust God enough to do what He had planned out before their arrival, so when Satan made an offer to them, they jump at it not knowing that they were short changing themselves and so we do oftentimes (Gen 3:1-6).

What was the aftermath result? They lost their glorious destiny. They were sent out of the garden were their duties  were to dress only and went into hard labour where they have to till the ground, plant and wait to harvest before they eat. Our dear mother, Eve had to bring forth her children in pains, what a glorious destiny lost and exchange for nothing (Gen 3:7- 24).

But today, brethren, we are going to pray that every door we opened in our life out of fear of the unknown be close by His Mighty hand. That His divine order and destiny for us be made manifest by His Mighty hand in Jesus Name.

Beloved, don’t you think that the fall of our first parents was born out of fear? Secondly, they were not constantly touch with God’s presence? If they were, they will have been reassured of God’s divine plan for them. That is why God is so particular about securing your glorious destiny and as a result, He sent His only Son Jesus whom you just celebrated the memory of His appearing in human form few days back to save you and ensure that you make it to the end and be with Him forever (1Jn 1:7).

Follower labourers in the vain yard, our sub-topic today is a clarion call on us not to rest but to continue to labour in the vineyard till every soul is harvested and bring into the barn. He is a good rewarder and will not fall to pay His wages as at when due. Am so confident that He will pay me if I faint not, therefore let that confident be in you also for He love thee with an everlasting love:

“Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3

Sometimes the Lord Jesus tells His Church His love thoughts. “He does not think it enough behind her back to tell it, but in her very presence He says, ‘Thou art all fair, my love.’ It is true, this is not His ordinary method; He is a wise lover, and knows when to keep back the intimation of love and when to let it out; but there are times when He will make no secret of it; times when He will put it beyond all dispute in the souls of His people” (R. Erskine’s Sermons).

The Holy Spirit is often pleased, in a most gracious manner, to witness with our spirits of the love of Jesus. He takes of the things of Christ and reveals them unto us. No voice is heard from the clouds, and no vision is seen in the night, but we have a testimony more sure than either of these.

If an angel should fly from heaven and inform the saint personally of the Saviour’s love to him, the evidence would not be one whit more satisfactory than that which is borne in the heart by the Holy Ghost. Ask those of the Lord’s people who have lived the nearest to the gates of heaven, and they will tell you that they have had seasons when the love of Christ towards them has been a fact so clear and sure, that they could no more doubt it than they could question their own existence.

Yes, beloved believer, you and I have had times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, and then our faith has mounted to the topmost heights of assurance. We have had confidence to lean our heads upon the bosom of our Lord, and we have no more questioned our Master’s affection to us than John did when in that blessed posture; nay, nor so much: for the dark question, “Lord, is it I that shall betray thee?” has been put far from us.

He has kissed us with the kisses of His mouth, and killed our doubts by the closeness of His embrace. His love has been sweeter than wine to our souls. He will not fail to honour us with His substance as we labour daily to add jewels to His crown:

“Call thy labourers, and give them their hire.” Matthew 20:8

God is a good paymaster; He pays His servants while at work as well as when they have done it; and one of His payments is this: an easy conscience. If you have spoken faithfully of Jesus to one person, when you go to bed at night you feel happy in thinking, “I have this day discharged my conscience of that man’s blood.”

There is a great comfort in doing something for Jesus. Oh, what a happiness to place jewels in His crown, and give Him to see of the travail of His soul! There is also very great reward in watching the first buddings of conviction in a soul! To say of that girl in the class, “She is tender of heart, I do hope that there is the Lord’s work within.”

To go home and pray over that boy, who said something in the afternoon which made you think he must know more of divine truth than you had feared! Oh, the joy of hope! But as for the joy of success! it is unspeakable. This joy, overwhelming as it is, is a hungry thing—you pine for more of it. To be a soul-winner is the happiest thing in the world. With every soul you bring to Christ, you get a new heaven upon earth.

But who can conceive the bliss which awaits us above! Oh, how sweet is that sentence, “Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord!” Do you know what the joy of Christ is over a saved sinner? This is the very joy which we are to possess in heaven. Yes, when He mounts the throne, you shall mount with Him. When the heavens ring with “Well done, well done,” you shall partake in the reward; you have toiled with Him, you have suffered with Him, you shall now reign with Him; you have sown with Him, you shall reap with Him; your face was covered with sweat like His, and your soul was grieved for the sins of men as His soul was, now shall your face be bright with heaven’s splendour as is His countenance, and now shall your soul be filled with beatific joys even as His soul is.

Beloveth, make it a duty to stay very close to God this year.  Wipe away every evil thought and doubt about His promises in your life, family, career, businesses and ministry. We must endeavour to fellowship with one another as commanded us by God, we must observe and keep all that we are commanded in the Word to do such things as “do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate upon it and keep it if you want to have good success.” (Josh 1:8).

Fear not beloved! And see God manifesting in every areas of your life where you need to dominate (Deut 29:9). Praise God.

Father, we come to thank You for Whom You are. Thank You Lord for the great and mighty things You are doing in the lives of Your children, blessed be Your Holy Name. Thank You Father for the gift of year 2016. We trusted You and You bring to past in our lives, we return to say Thank You, let Your Name be Praise forever in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, how was the celebration? The Christmas and the New Year? Hope it was fun filled? Glory be to God in the Highest and peace to men of goodwill. We are glad that we all made it into the New Year, therefore once again we welcome you into our year of “Divine Dominion.” It is not he that willeth but is God that showeth mercy upon whom He desire to show mercy upon.

I want to thank God for special counting you and I worthy of His mercy and grace. Blessed be His Holy Name forever. Beloveth, as the promise of the Lord has gone forth, ours is to believe Him and trust Him that it will surely come to past in our lives, family career, business and ministry in Jesus Name.

Why do I say that? Because the One Who promised is able to do according His Promises. My God is so Mighty. He is Omnipotent and Omnipresent. He see you everywhere and He is able to do anything He is set to do concerning you. He is not limited by any means. He dwells in eternity and He is Self-sufficient to bring anything to past. Glory be to God.

Year 2015 has gone into the history and we have gone ahead of it. it therefore means that whatever we did not achieve last year we still every opprunity to make make it happen by asking God to help us and enable to bring it to past. Praise the Lord.

However, as we go through the year, by the special grace of God and His anointing upon us, the Lord will bring to us all what we need to make the theme of the year a reality in our lives. He will guide us into all truth and His hand will give us dominion in every area we desire his presence.

Today we will be considering “fear” among other factors that might hinder an individual from having dominion as we have been promised by the Lord.

Fear has been defined in several ways, however we will be considering the definition that says FEAR- False Evidence Appearing Real. Fear comes in diverse form and can make an individual not to enter into God’s promises even when He has given His Word. Fear has torment and there is a spirit behind it (1Jn 4:18). Therefore we must subject such a spirit under Christ else we go nowhere (2 Cor 10:5).

In spite of what fear does in the lives of people, God is saying something profaned to us in our study text of today. God is saying to you and I “fear not for I am with You…: I will strengthen Thee.” Beloved, do you need to be strengthened from above for journey ahead of you this year? Then read on to discover more:

“I will strengthen thee.” Isaiah 41:10

God has a strong reserve with which to discharge this engagement; for He is able to do all things. Believer, till thou canst drain dry the ocean of omnipotence, till thou canst break into pieces the towering mountains of almighty strength, thou never needest to fear. Think not that the strength of man shall ever be able to overcome the power of God.

Whilst the earth’s huge pillars stand, thou hast enough reason to abide firm in thy faith. The same God who directs the earth in its orbit, who feeds the burning furnace of the sun, and trims the lamps of heaven, has promised to supply thee with daily strength. While He is able to uphold the universe, dream not that He will prove unable to fulfil His own promises.

Remember what He did in the days of old, in the former generations. Remember how He spake and it was done; how He commanded, and it stood fast. Shall He that created the world grow weary? He hangeth the world upon nothing; shall He who doth this be unable to support His children? Shall He be unfaithful to His word for want of power? Who is it that restrains the tempest?

Doth not He ride upon the wings of the wind, and make the clouds His chariots, and hold the ocean in the hollow of His hand? How can He fail thee? When He has put such a faithful promise as this on record, wilt thou for a moment indulge the thought that He has outpromised Himself, and gone beyond His power to fulfil? Ah, no! Thou canst doubt no longer.

O thou who art my God and my strength, I can believe that this promise shall be fulfilled, for the boundless reservoir of Thy grace can never be exhausted, and the overflowing storehouse of Thy strength can never be emptied by Thy friends or rifled by Thine enemies.

“Now let the feeble all be strong,

And make Jehovah’s arm their song.”

Beloved, did you read that “reservoir of thy grace can never be exhausted … by thy friends or rifled by thine enemies. Not even the imaginations of thine enemies can rifled what God has plan for you. O! Is someone excited this moment? Is light risen upon you now? Get excited, as the Spirit of God will perform what He has promised us. Read on to discover more:

“The spot of His children.” Deuteronomy 32:5

What is the secret spot which infallibly betokens the child of God? It were vain presumption to decide this upon our own judgment; but God’s word reveals it to us, and we may tread surely where we have revelation to be our guide. Now, we are told concerning our Lord, “to as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to as many as believed on His name.”

Then, if I have received Christ Jesus into my heart, I am a child of God. That reception is described in the same verse as believing on the name of Jesus Christ. If, then, I believe on Jesus Christ’s name—that is, simply from my heart trust myself with the crucified, but now exalted, Redeemer, I am a member of the family of the Most High. Whatever else I may not have, if I have this, I have the privilege to become a child of God.

Our Lord Jesus puts it in another shape. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Here is the matter in a nutshell. Christ appears as a shepherd to His own sheep, not to others. As soon as He appears, His own sheep perceive Him—they trust Him, they are prepared to follow Him; He knows them, and they know Him—there is a mutual knowledge—there is a constant connection between them.

Thus the one mark, the sure mark, the infallible mark of regeneration and adoption is a hearty faith in the appointed Redeemer. Reader, are you in doubt, are you uncertain whether you bear the secret mark of God’s children? Then let not an hour pass over your head till you have said, “Search me, O God, and know my heart.”

Trifle not here, I adjure you! If you must trifle anywhere, let it be about some secondary matter: your health, if you will, or the title deeds of your estate; but about your soul, your never-dying soul and its eternal destinies, I beseech you to be in earnest. Make sure work for eternity.

We dealt so much on fear last year and am sure God has broken the Spirit of fear over your life. Why did He need to do that? because fear is something that is very important to Him that it was recorded 365 times in the Word representing each day that the Infinite is saying to you “Fear Not”.

We will also bring to you many in the bible who as a result of fear did not enter into the promise of God. And by the grace of God in this ministry, God is using this platform to set the captives free from the grip of the enemy. Eliminating the Spirit of torment which came as a result of fear in the lives of His children.

Beloved, hold on to this promises “you did not get the spirit of fear of servant again to put you in fear but the spirit of sons was given to you by which we say, Abba Father (Rom 8:15) (BBE). Secondly, where the Spirit of Lord is, there is liberty (2 Cor 3:17). Thirdly when we expel fear from our life by the help of the Spirit of God, we will behold the glory of God and thereafter, we will be changing from glory to glory (2 Cor 3:18).

The big question here is “are you among the sons? If not please click here to give your life to Jesus Christ now! As those passages you just read are promises to the sons. Ask God to order your steps in His Word. Praise God!

Our Year of Divine Dominion

All the glory must to the Lord for He is Worthy of our praise, no man on earth should be glory to Himself all the glory must be to the Lord.

Father be Thou highly exalted in heaven and on earth as we return with thanks giving on this first day of a new year, we are not unmindful of the warfare that You did on our behalf to preserve us up to this end. We are also too confident of the bounty You have in stock for us in the new year.

Lord we return with thanksgiving to say “Thank You” for all the blessings of the past years. You watched over us and You preserved us from all evil projected at us. You gave us water in the desert, Your Hand provided all our needs and means to accomplished all our heart desires. Indeed You are Worthy Lord to be glorify.

How can we thank You enough for Your Faithfulness, Deliverances, Healings, Restorations, Provisions, Protections, Promotions, Miracles and Salvation of souls all through the year. You are indeed God.

Beloved, am glad that we made it through into another year. Glory be to God in the highest. We all have testimony of God’s goodness in our lives, family, career, businesses and ministry.  Thank God for the gift of a new year with all its blessings and promises.

Beloved, have you positioned yourself for the year. Many aspiration we had last year came to past and as usual we would have come up with new plans and aspirations for the New Year. What are your plans to birth those aspiration into fruition? Things don’t just happen as we are meant to believe.

I want to prepare your mind on this first day of the year the need to take out some time off to pray and fast for those plans to come to past. Remember also that fasting without praying amounts to hunger strike. Therefore, there is need for you to plan out your prayer time in such a way that it will deliver to you your heart desires.

Thank God for the gift of another year. We therefore welcome you into Year 2016 “Our Year of Divine Dominion (Isa 32:15-18).” Is someone excited? Is someone celebrating the goodness of God towards all that He has created? Are you happy for the plan of God towards you?

Beloved, the Lord brought to past all His promises throughout last year and therefore am so confident that this year promises will not only deliver but will deliver to us in grand style. All through year 2016, “you will be a living wonder.” “You will walk in high places and in giant steps.” “You will dominate your world.” “All that had made you bow your head in the time past will see your glorious appearing.” “The Lord will turn all your wilderness to fruitful field and your fruitful field to forest.”

Beloved, you need not wonder how these will come to past for the Hand of the Lord will do it when His Spirit is pour on you from high. “This is one year that you will move from one level of glory to another level of glory.” It is a year that you are permitted to change levels at the instances of the God Almighty for He will ensure that justice prevail. “All your wilderness are coming under His judgment.” “The righteousness of the Lord will dwell in the fruitful field. In peace and quietness and assurance forever.”

Beloved, you will dwell in peaceable habitation. Your dwellings places are sure. “You are entering into your rest in this year of Dominion.” Glory be to God in the highest. Dominion package is His covenant concerning you in this year 2016. His covenant is sure, His covenant is everlasting, please ride on for more encounter:  

    

“Yet He hath made with me an everlasting covenant.” 2Samuel 23:5

 

This covenant is divine in its origin. “HE hath made with me an everlasting covenant.” Oh that great word HE! Stop, my soul. God, the everlasting Father, has positively made a covenant with thee; yes, that God who spake the world into existence by a word; He, stooping from His majesty, takes hold of thy hand and makes a covenant with thee.

Is it not a deed, the stupendous condescension of which might ravish our hearts for ever if we could really understand it? “HE hath made with me a covenant.” A king has not made a covenant with me—that were somewhat; but the Prince of the kings of the earth, Shaddai, the Lord All-sufficient, the Jehovah of ages, the everlasting Elohim, “He hath made with me an everlasting covenant.”

But notice, it is particular in its application. “Yet hath He made with ME an everlasting covenant.” Here lies the sweetness of it to each believer. It is nought for me that He made peace for the world; I want to know whether He made peace for me! It is little that He hath made a covenant, I want to know whether He has made a covenant with me. Blessed is the assurance that He hath made a covenant with me! If God the Holy Ghost gives me assurance of this, then His salvation is mine, His heart is mine, He Himself is mine—He is my God.

This covenant is everlasting in its duration. An everlasting covenant means a covenant which had no beginning, and which shall never, never end. How sweet amidst all the uncertainties of life, to know that “the foundation of the Lord standeth sure,” and to have God’s own promise, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” Like dying David, I will sing of this, even though my house be not so with God as my heart desireth.

Beloved have you heard what the Lord is saying further concerning you He said “I will cloth you with broidered work, badgers’ skin and fine linen and with silk/ come with me to as we drink more from this fountain of life even on this first day of the year:

“I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.” Ezekiel 16:10

See with what matchless generosity the Lord provides for His people’s apparel. They are so arrayed that the divine skill is seen producing an unrivalled broidered work, in which every attribute takes its part and every divine beauty is revealed. No art like the art displayed in our salvation, no cunning workmanship like that beheld in the righteousness of the saints.

Justification has engrossed learned pens in all ages of the church, and will be the theme of admiration in eternity. God has indeed “curiously wrought it.” With all this elaboration there is mingled utility and durability, comparable to our being shod with badgers’ skins. The animal here meant is unknown, but its skin covered the tabernacle, and formed one of the finest and strongest leathers known.

The righteousness which is of God by faith endureth for ever, and he who is shod with this divine preparation will tread the desert safely, and may even set his foot upon the lion and the adder. Purity and dignity of our holy vesture are brought out in the fine linen. When the Lord sanctifies His people, they are clad as priests in pure white; not the snow itself excels them; they are in the eyes of men and angels fair to look upon, and even in the Lord’s eyes they are without spot. Meanwhile the royal apparel is delicate and rich as silk. No expense is spared, no beauty withheld, no daintiness denied.

What, then? Is there no inference from this? Surely there is gratitude to be felt and joy to be expressed. Come, my heart, refuse not thy evening hallelujah! Tune thy pipes! Touch thy chords!

“Strangely, my soul, art thou arrayed

By the Great Sacred Three!

In sweetest harmony of praise

Let all thy powers agree.”

Praise the Lord forever. Year 2016 will be indeed a year of “Dominion” according to the promise of the Lord. As said earlier, pocket this year by praying and fasting all through the month of January and you will see yourself a living wonder.  Choose a fasting plan that suits you but not forgetting that “Prayer” is the Master Key.
