Give Us Today Our Daily Bread

0

There is something that makes me come into your Presence, my helper, my helper O, my helper O, my helper, O Lord, there is something that makes me come into Your presence, my Healer. He is Miracle Working God 2x He is the Alpha and the Omega, He is a Miracle Working God. J-E-S-U-S Jesus, J-E-S-U-S my Saviour.

Thank You Father for the miracle of sleeping and waking up this morning. Thank You for the gift of health and vitality, we cannot thank You enough for Your Faithfulness in our lives even as we place our trust in You. You are so Powerful, so Gracious, so Merciful and your Lovingkindness towards us. Blessed be Your Holy Name.

Beloved, who is like our Father in heaven? Who can you likened to Him? No one can take His place and hold it faithfully and honorable without abusing or manipulating you. Glory be to God in the Highest. Thank God for Jesus Whose blood that washes and cleans and make whole. He is our mediator of the new testament….; He also have delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the … in whom we redemption through the His blood …. (Heb 9:15; Col 1:13).

Beloved, the topic before us today was taught by our Lord Jesus to the disciples however, we are not limiting ourselves to “bread” in the literal sense of it but we will be considering it in its global perspective of whatever be our needs in God.

Faithfull is our God. His Name is Faithful and Faithful is He. Our God dwells in the highest heaven but walks among men. He knows your needs even before it comes knocking and He has faithfully provide for it but the gap is that we don’t make enquiries from the right channel, we go asking and making enquiries from the wrong sources and wrong places.

In the process we get disenchanted and frustrated by the whole thing especially when you are working for Him in His vineyard, which can be your ministry, career, business, family even when you received the vision from above. The wisest thing to do is go back to God but oftentimes we run to men or people who were not sent to us to carry on the vision and they will help you to kill the vision.

So many homes have been destroyed based on what am sharing with you and many vision gone into oblivion because of wrong reliance on men instead of God in the provisions of our need. Praise God.

Let us come believing in God and His promises to us and we will see Him working out those difficult areas or challenges in our lives. Amen! (Heb 11:6).

I don’t know what God have promised you or what you are holding Him on for but what I know is that God is too faithful to fail you. He may not come the way you are excepting Him but He will never fail to come and He will never be late.

This is the most difficult part of our work with God but we must rely solely on Him. Remember, Abraham, how easy we covet his blessing but not his steadfastness in God. (Rom 4:18-22). Let us therefore be resolute in our walk with God and we see His wonders in our lives.

I will also be sharing with you, one man whose works has been very helpful to us as a ministry, one of the faithful generals who trusted God for all His needs and as at his last count, God is Faithful and am sure his experiences will encourage you.

Come along with us as we read to discover more:

Give us today our daily bread.—Matthew 6:11

Jesus often reminded His followers not to worry. He told them not to be anxious about tomorrow’s needs or potential problems (Matt. 6:25). Rather, Jesus stressed a daily reliance on the Father, who provides for His children day by day.

As the Israelites wandered in the desert, they had no way to get food. Miraculously, God provided manna that appeared on the ground each morning. God’s provision was sufficient for one day at a time. Each day the children of Israel received fresh manna as a tangible reminder of God’s love for them. If they attempted to store it for the days to come, they found that it had spoiled by the next day. It was impossible to stockpile God’s provision, because God wanted them to trust in Him, not in their pantry. God’s grace was sufficient for each day.

God wants us to trust Him daily with our needs. This trust does not make us poor planners or careless with our futures, unprepared to face what may come. Rather, it keeps our relationship with the Lord in its proper perspective as He reminds us daily of our dependence upon Him. God is aware of what tomorrow will bring and how we should prepare for it.

He knows the problems we will face, and He has already made provision for us to overcome them. He asks us to trust in Him daily. Our faith in Him today cannot substitute for our trust in Him tomorrow. If we walk with Him closely today, we will be in the center of His will tomorrow.

Beloved, how often do stockpile God’s provision even when there is need you can meet with it around you? Well it will be good if we will learn from today to rely on God and be His Hand and Feet when there is need in the life of our relations, neighbor or brethren. Come with me as we find out how reliable is our God:

 Can We Really Trust God?

Back in my mid-20’s I made the decision to take God literally. That is, to live Biblically and trust Him to meet my needs. Clearly, He had asked me to give full time to winning and discipling men. Shortly after responding to His “calling,” I was severely tested by the Enemy. Amidst the spiritual struggle, I got down on my knees and held my Bible in the air to God, claiming Matthew 6:25, 33:

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Following are four measurable illustrations of how God specifically honored His Word over these many years:

  1. In 1963 when Ruth and I met and fell in love, I was in an intensive Christian training program, living on a few dollars a week. After a number of months of secret letter-writing, (she had moved from Colorado to California) it became apparent that I should go and visit her. I asked God for the necessary funds to make the trip and determined to tell no one of my need. In the following weeks, inexplicably people began putting money into my mail box, under my pillow, etc. When I made the trip, the necessary funds were at hand.

  1. In 1970 Ruth and I returned from overseas missionary work, and needed funds to purchase a house to begin a ministry among university students. We had not mentioned our needs to anyone. One morning in my devotions I felt God laid a verse on my heart from Psalm 107, assuring me the necessary funds would be forthcoming. Later that morning when I opened my mail, there was a check for several thousand dollars which covered the down payment on the purchase of a house.

  1. In 1973 while preparing my income tax I found a misplaced stock certificate. When I mentioned it to Ruth, she informed me that the couple next door were filing for bankruptcy in two days. So we went over to their house and signed over the stock certificate to them. When we specified the stock’s value, the wife let out a scream and broke into tears. The amount was exactly what her Christian mother two days earlier had asked God to provide them. Within days both the husband and wife received Christ.

  1. When our children were studying at the university, unexpectedly I incurred a whopping tax bill. Shortly thereafter, I paid a visit on my 90 year old uncle. Without explanation, he handed me six envelopes totaling the amount of the tax bill. We had not discussed our need with anyone except the Lord.

Can God be trusted? Can He be taken literally? From my 50 years of walking with Him, my answer is a resounding and unequivocal “Yes!” (Adapted from FOTM).

Wow! What a miracle! someone is saying, but that is God for you. I have my own experiences also which I will one day list out in this order and I also believe you have a good handful of them too.

Let us keep believing God even for those needs that looks knotty, He will yet do it like in a twinkling of an eye, He will take you from the pit/prison to the palace. Keep holding on; never giving up. Your daily portion He will be Faithful to supply, just be make sure you are positioned to receive from Him.

Read Isa 41:17; Matt 6:8 and be encourage.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

What Sanctifies Our Offerings?

0

We give you glory as we worship 2x You are wonderful, You are worthy O Lord! 2x. Glory be to God in the Highest Amen 2x For His mercies endureth forever Amen 2x.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Whom You are. Thank You for the gift of another day in the land of the living, is only the living that can praise You Lord. Thank You for Your love Lord, thank You for preservation and protection, Lord, for your deliverance from the blood sucking demons and perpetuators of evil.  Glory be to your Holy Name forever.

Beloved, awake, awake for the time has come to worship the King of kings, the One Who deserve our worship and praise all daily. Therefore, come let us worship Him forever.

Before the birth of Christ, atonements are made with the blood of bulls, lambs, turtles, doves name it. We also have many offering such as peace offering, thanksgiving offerings, etc. None of these offerings were able to cleanse nor make whole. It has no capacity to reconcile man back to His creator who desires to be worship by the man He created.

Then when everything failed to bridge the gap created by our sins as the priest offers sacrifice year in year out. Then Jesus give up His Throne as a supreme sacrifice is needed to bring man back to God (Heb 9:11-26).

While the blood of the lambs and bulls failed; the blood of Jesus availed for us. His blood washes and made whole.

The blood of Jesus is potent in any situation, therefore we need not be afraid what the devil is scheming to do neither do we need to fear that which can only destroy the body and not the soul.

Come let us plead the blood on our sacrifices of prayer today as we pray and see our offerings sanctifies by the “Blood”:

And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord.” Lev. 4:7

The altar of incense is the place where saints present their prayers and praises; and it is delightful to think of it as sprinkled with the blood of the great sacrifice. This it is which makes all our worship acceptable with Jehovah: He sees the blood of His own Son, and therefore accepts our homage.

It is well for us to fix our eyes upon the blood of the one offering for sin. Sin mingles even with our holy things, and our best repentance, faith, prayer, and thanksgiving could not be received of God were it not for the merit of the atoning sacrifice.

Many sneer at “the blood”; but to us it is the foundation of comfort and hope. That which is on the horns of the altar is meant to be prominently before our eyes when we draw near to God. The blood gives strength to prayer, and hence it is on the altar’s horns. It is “before the Lord,” and therefore it ought to be before us. It is on the altar before we bring the incense; it is there to sanctify our offerings and gifts.

Come, let us pray with confidence, since the Victim is offered, the merit has been pleaded, the blood is within the veil, and the prayers of believers must be sweet unto the Lord.

The blood of Jesus gives us access to the inner court where only the priest was allowed to minister. Glory be to God Who by the death of Jesus gives us access to Himself. Thank you Father.

Come and experience the efficacy in the blood of Jesus:

“Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.” Hebrews 9:20

There is a strange power about the very name of blood, and the sight of it is always affecting. A kind heart cannot bear to see a sparrow bleed, and unless familiarized by use, turns away with horror at the slaughter of a beast. As to the blood of men, it is a consecrated thing: it is murder to shed it in wrath, it is a dreadful crime to squander it in war. Is this solemnity occasioned by the fact that the blood is the life, and the pouring of it forth the token of death? We think so.

When we rise to contemplate the blood of the Son of God, our awe is yet more increased, and we shudder as we think of the guilt of sin, and the terrible penalty which the Sin-bearer endured. Blood, always precious, is priceless when it streams from Immanuel’s side. The blood of Jesus seals the covenant of grace, and makes it for ever sure.

Covenants of old were made by sacrifice, and the everlasting covenant was ratified in the same manner. Oh, the delight of being saved upon the sure foundation of divine engagements which cannot be dishonoured! Salvation by the works of the law is a frail and broken vessel whose shipwreck is sure; but the covenant vessel fears no storms, for the blood ensures the whole.

The blood of Jesus made His testament valid. Wills are of no power unless the testators die. In this light the soldier’s spear is a blessed aid to faith, since it proved our Lord to be really dead. Doubts upon that matter there can be none, and we may boldly appropriate the legacies which He has left for His people. Happy they who see their title to heavenly blessings assured to them by a dying Saviour.

But has this blood no voice to us? Does it not bid us sanctify ourselves unto Him by whom we have been redeemed? Does it not call us to newness of life, and incite us to entire consecration to the Lord? O that the power of the blood might be known, and felt in us this day!

Beloved, the testament of the blood on your prayer today will deliver to you, today. None of your prayer covered with the blood of Jesus will go unanswered today. The blood in state of communion made whole and destroy the powers of sickness and death which  I have a testimony about, therefore standing on the potency of the blood of the Lamb every handwritten of death over every user of these devotional are hereby crush from the root never to raise again in Jesus Name. He had paid all the debt by His death on the cross willing; therefore sickness and death has no power over you (Isa 53:4-12; Jn 10 :18).

For where the Spirit of God is there is liberty (2 Cor 3:17); pray today like never before as the blood of Jesus will avail for you like never before.

He is risen and therefore we are risen also (1 Cor 15:20-22; Heb 8:1).

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Lord Is My Portion

0

How excellent is your Name O Lord, how excellent is Your Name 3x O Lord. There is none Holy as the Lord, there is no besides him, neither is there any power like my God. there is none holy as the Lord.

Faithful God, indeed there is none holy as my God Who dwells in holiness. Blessed be the Name of the Lord, who reigneth forever and ever. Father, we thank You, we blessed Your Holy Name, we adore You, we are grateful to You for all You are doing in the lives of Your children, for Your pleasant surprises and fulfillment that can only be found in You alone. Glory be to Your Holy Name forever.

Beloved, in God is our sufficiency in Him we have our being. Glorious God, Wonderful Redeemer, we praise Thee. What else can we say, if God be for us; who can be against us? If God declares us His; who can say no to it. Therefore, let us rejoice and be glad in Him for this is the day He has made. Glory be to Him forever.

We saw the Lord taking us as His inheritance in our yesterday’s devotional. It gladdened my heart but I don’t know about you? Today, it becoming more interesting, I am declaring “the Lord is my portion or do I say “we,” are you in it with me?

Wow! He first loved us, that He claimed us to Himself, His love for us made Him to sacrifice His best for you. His declaration made us the choicest vine among the grove, what a wonderful election from the Throne where rigging is not allowed nor bribery permitted. Praise God.

Therefore, if you are declaring the God Who made heaven and earth, the One Who is and is Yet to come your Portion then come with me as we have more to consume:

“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul.” Lamentations 3:24

It is not “The Lord is partly my portion,” nor “The Lord is in my portion”; but He Himself makes up the sum total of my soul’s inheritance. Within the circumference of that circle lies all that we possess or desire. The Lord is my portion. Not His grace merely, nor His love, nor His covenant, but Jehovah Himself. He has chosen us for His portion, and we have chosen Him for ours. It is true that the Lord must first choose our inheritance for us, or else we shall never choose it for ourselves; but if we are really called according to the purpose of electing love, we can sing—

“Lov’d of my God for Him again

With love intense I burn;

Chosen of Him ere time began,

I choose Him in return.”

The Lord is our all-sufficient portion. God fills Himself; and if God is all-sufficient in Himself, He must be all-sufficient for us. It is not easy to satisfy man’s desires. When he dreams that he is satisfied, anon he wakes to the perception that there is somewhat yet beyond, and straightway the horse-leech in his heart cries, “Give, give.”

But all that we can wish for is to be found in our divine portion, so that we ask, “Whom have I in heaven but Thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.” Well may we “delight ourselves in the Lord” who makes us to drink of the river of His pleasures.

Our faith stretches her wings and mounts like an eagle into the heaven of divine love as to her proper dwelling-place. “The lines have fallen to us in pleasant places; yea, we have a goodly heritage.” Let us rejoice in the Lord always; let us show to the world that we are a happy and a blessed people, and thus induce them to exclaim, “We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

Yes! People will see you and want to be with you because they know that God is with you. That should be their declaration. Potiphar and the prison warders declared it about Joseph (Gen 39:2-5;20-23). King Saul said that also about David also (1Sam 20:29-31; 24:16-21). When God is with you, you will be a blessing (Gen 12:2-3).

We are also going to see one woman who trusted God against all odd when everything has gone brassier she trusted the God of the mother in law and it came to past that God did not neglect nor forsake her as the world would think (2 Pet 3:9).

He honoured her trust in the Lord and made her part of Messianic lineage. Beloved, come as we see the wonders of the Lord prepared for those you only place the help and hope in the Lord:

“She gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.” Ruth 2:3

Her hap was. Yes, it seemed nothing but an accident, but how divinely was it overruled! Ruth had gone forth with her mother’s blessing, under the care of her mother’s God, to humble but honourable toil, and the providence of God was guiding her every step. Little did she know that amid the sheaves she would find a husband, that he should make her the joint owner of all those broad acres, and that she a poor foreigner should become one of the progenitors of the great Messiah.

God is very good to those who trust in Him, and often surprises them with unlooked for blessings. Little do we know what may happen to us tomorrow, but this sweet fact may cheer us, that no good thing shall be withheld. Chance is banished from the faith of Christians, for they see the hand of God in everything. The trivial events of today or tomorrow may involve consequences of the highest importance. O Lord, deal as graciously with Thy servants as Thou didst with Ruth.

How blessed would it be, if, in wandering in the field of meditation to-night, our hap should be to light upon the place where our next Kinsman will reveal Himself to us! O Spirit of God, guide us to Him. We would sooner glean in His field than bear away the whole harvest from any other. O for the footsteps of His flock, which may conduct us to the green pastures where He dwells!

This is a weary world when Jesus is away—we could better do without sun and moon that without Him—but how divinely fair all things become in the glory of His presence! Our souls know the virtue which dwells in Jesus, and can never be content without Him. We will wait in prayer this night until our hap shall be to light on a part of the field belonging to Jesus wherein He will manifest Himself to us.

Beloved, what a blessedness…., Ruth was counted as among those who said “who hath believed our report?” up until now we are still talking about her, what happened to Orpah? Nobody knew, but Ruth tenacity in the God of the Israel made her a winner in the mist of crushing, harsh and fail economy of Naomi, God Who never forsake the poor and the widow showed up.

Beloved, do not lose hope even in that hopeless situation the Lord of Host is still able to do something. Don’t forget He created everything out of nothing but a “spoken Word”.  I tell you in that situation that is crushing you down, God is speaking to it right now.

All you need do is to be still and listen. You will come out of it. You definitely will, only be still and fret not nor murmur again. The Lord will indeed visit you and make you glad Isa 35:1- 10. Never forget you are His portion and He is Yours also (2 Cor 3:2-5 Eph 1:3- 12; Gal 5:1).

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Lord’s Portion Is His People

0

What shall we do today? Today o, I will lift up my hands in praise, for I know You are always there for me Almighty God, … Glory, Glory, Alleluia, glory glory praise the Lord, 2x. Jesus is a Mighty God! All powers bow before Him He is Mighty God.

Gracious God, hallow be Thy Name, let Thy kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it was in beginning. Thank You for the beginning of a new week in this wonder- filled month, we are grateful to You Who dwells on high. Thank You for Your Faithfulness endureth forever, thank You for watching over us (Prov 18: 10).

Beloved, how are you doing? Come, let us magnify the Lord forever, for He liveth forever more and He is our Rock and our salvation, our strength in the day of battle. Truly Faithful is our God and Faithful will He remain through all the generation.

Blessed be the Name of the Lord forever and ever and ever more. Amen!

We are the portion of the Lord. Do you believe that? We are the elect of our Father, are you among them? This declaration of the Lord is a powerful and it has every potential to deliver and to make whole, in it is our possession in the Lord. Beloved, Faithful is our God, greatly to be praise.

Beloved, what a privilege to be numbered among the Lord’s portion. This verse was a line in a song given to Moses by God to teach the children of Israelite when they were about to cross over to the Promised Land. Having done so much for His people, the Lord lamented that His own heritage will forsake Him sooner they are settled in the land which He promised them and go after other gods, make sacrifice to them which had no hand in their rescue or their restoration. The song was meant to be a witness between them and God.

Beloved, how often do we forget our Father, Who have been so faithful to us, Who delivered us from sickness, troubles, maladies, name it, and worship other gods, idols inform of success, wealth, careers, ministry, children and spouse?

The Lord chooses our inheritance for us, we learnt last week, whatsoever He chooses for us, we should be humble enough to accept.  Beloved, The Lord has chosen you to deliver you by His Mighty Hand according His Word to us as a ministry this month, will you be still and know that He is your God and you are His portion ever. Come with me as we discover more how this transaction was done:

The Lord’s portion is His people.” Deuteronomy 32:9

How are they His? By His own sovereign choice. He chose them, and set His love upon them. This He did altogether apart from any goodness in them at the time, or any goodness which He foresaw in them. He had mercy on whom He would have mercy, and ordained a chosen company unto eternal life; thus, therefore, are they His by His unconstrained election.

They are not only His by choice, but by purchase. He has bought and paid for them to the utmost farthing, hence about His title there can be no dispute. Not with corruptible things, as with silver and gold, but with the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord’s portion has been fully redeemed.

There is no mortgage on His estate; no suits can be raised by opposing claimants, the price was paid in open court, and the Church is the Lord’s freehold for ever. See the blood-mark upon all the chosen, invisible to human eye, but known to Christ, for “the Lord knoweth them that are His”; He forgetteth none of those whom He has redeemed from among men; He counts the sheep for whom He laid down His life, and remembers well the Church for which He gave Himself.

They are also His by conquest. What a battle He had in us before we would be won! How long He laid siege to our hearts! How often He sent us terms of capitulation! but we barred our gates, and fenced our walls against Him. Do we not remember that glorious hour when He carried our hearts by storm? When He placed His cross against the wall, and scaled our ramparts, planting on our strongholds the blood-red flag of His omnipotent mercy?

Yes, we are, indeed, the conquered captives of His omnipotent love. Thus chosen, purchased, and subdued, the rights of our divine possessor are inalienable: we rejoice that we never can be our own; and we desire, day by day, to do His will, and to show forth His glory.

Beloved, we are fully redeemed not with corruptible things but with the “Blood” not bulls and lambs but the blood of Jesus Christ. Let us therefore go in that confidence that we are co-heir with Christ and put away sin far from us:

Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.” Psalm 119:53

My soul, feelest thou this holy shuddering at the sins of others? for otherwise thou lackest inward holiness. David’s cheeks were wet with rivers of waters because of prevailing unholiness; Jeremiah desired eyes like fountains that he might lament the iniquities of Israel, and Lot was vexed with the conversation of the men of Sodom.

Those upon whom the mark was set in Ezekiel’s vision, were those who sighed and cried for the abominations of Jerusalem. It cannot but grieve gracious souls to see what pains men take to go to hell. They know the evil of sin experimentally, and they are alarmed to see others flying like moths into its blaze.

Sin makes the righteous shudder, because it violates a holy law, which it is to every man’s highest interest to keep; it pulls down the pillars of the commonwealth. Sin in others horrifies a believer, because it puts him in mind of the baseness of his own heart: when he sees a transgressor he cries with the saint mentioned by Bernard, “He fell today, and I may fall tomorrow.”

Sin to a believer is horrible, because it crucified the Saviour; he sees in every iniquity the nails and spear. How can a saved soul behold that cursed kill-Christ sin without abhorrence? Say, my heart, dost thou sensibly join in all this? It is an awful thing to insult God to His face. The good God deserves better treatment, the great God claims it, the just God will have it, or repay His adversary to his face.

An awakened heart trembles at the audacity of sin, and stands alarmed at the contemplation of its punishment. How monstrous a thing is rebellion! How direful a doom is prepared for the ungodly! My soul, never laugh at sin’s fooleries, lest thou come to smile at sin itself. It is thine enemy, and thy Lord’s enemy—view it with detestation, for so only canst thou evidence the possession of holiness, without which no man can see the Lord.

Beloved, let us like David bemoaned our sinful nature if truly we want God to intervene in our situation and deliver us from them that are mighty than us. Amen.

This week is declare blessed in the Name of the Lord. Before the end of this week, you will have a testimony. The Lord your God will show forth His glory in your life and situation in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

…David Said in His Heart, I Shall Now Perish …

0

Everlasting Father, Everlasting Son, Immortally Holy Ghost be thou glorify 2x I will worship my God, I will shout alleluia, me I go worship my God, my God do well for me.

Mighty God, Who is like unto Thee, glorious in Majesty, ever doing Wonders in the lives of Your children, who can be likened unto Thee, or shall be equal with the Holy One? The One who created all stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of His great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.

Beloved, how can you ever say the Lord does not see your troubles? How can God ignores your rights? Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding (Isa 40:25-28).

David cried out in fear that king Saul might kill him so he fled from his territory to a town called Ziklag at Gath. But was that fear real? Can God ever abandon His own? Not even after anointing him as the next king of Israel. God holds our future; He also knows our future.

Beloved, that is how we fear and fret when we are confronted by trials of life, not minding all the great promises we received from the Lord. When temptation, inconveniences, trials comes our way, we squat and pout and blame everybody including God.

If I may ask, how do you feel when you overcome a trial? Good, I suppose. Let us continual ask God to help us always in our hour of temptation. Let Him help us to overcome in His power and Name always. Amen! If you faith in day of adversity, thy strength is small (Prov 24:10).

How do you ensure that your strength is sustained during your tiring moment? Stay close to the source of your strength and you will be strong. Study and mediate in the word daily, it will keep you refresh.

Another question, did that which David feared came to pass? Did God fulfill His promises made to his fore-fathers, His servant through Him? Did God also fulfilled His promise to have his seeds enthroned forever?

Beloved, so will the Lord bring to pass all His promises to you, fear not only believe that He is able to do all His promises to you and your seeds forever:

“And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul.” 1Samuel 27:1

The thought of David’s heart at this time was a false thought, because he certainly had no ground for thinking that God’s anointing him by Samuel was intended to be left as an empty unmeaning act. On no one occasion had the Lord deserted His servant; he had been placed in perilous positions very often, but not one instance had occurred in which divine interposition had not delivered him.

The trials to which he had been exposed had been varied; they had not assumed one form only, but many—yet in every case He who sent the trial had also graciously ordained a way of escape. David could not put his finger upon any entry in his diary, and say of it, “Here is evidence that the Lord will forsake me,” for the entire tenor of his past life proved the very reverse. He should have argued from what God had done for him, that God would be his defender still.

But is it not just in the same way that we doubt God’s help? Is it not mistrust without a cause? Have we ever had the shadow of a reason to doubt our Father’s goodness? Have not His lovingkindnesses been marvellous? Has He once failed to justify our trust? Ah, no! our God has not left us at any time. We have had dark nights, but the star of love has shone forth amid the blackness; we have been in stern conflicts, but over our head He has held aloft the shield of our defence.

We have gone through many trials, but never to our detriment, always to our advantage; and the conclusion from our past experience is, that He who has been with us in six troubles, will not forsake us in the seventh. What we have known of our faithful God, proves that He will keep us to the end.

Let us not, then, reason contrary to evidence. How can we ever be so ungenerous as to doubt our God? Lord, throw down the Jezebel of our unbelief, and let the dogs devour it.  Don’t forget He shall gather the lambs with His arm so you need not be afraid but the question here is “are you among the lambs?” come- on let’s find out

“He shall gather the lambs with His arm.” Isaiah 40:11

Our good Shepherd has in His flock a variety of experiences, some are strong in the Lord, and others are weak in faith, but He is impartial in His care for all His sheep, and the weakest lamb is as dear to Him as the most advanced of the flock.

Lambs are wont to lag behind, prone to wander, and apt to grow weary, but from all the danger of these infirmities the Shepherd protects them with His arm of power. He finds new-born souls, like young lambs, ready to perish—He nourishes them till life becomes vigorous; He finds weak minds ready to faint and die—He consoles them and renews their strength.

All the little ones He gathers, for it is not the will of our heavenly Father that one of them should perish. What a quick eye He must have to see them all! What a tender heart to care for them all! What a far- reaching and potent arm, to gather them all! In His lifetime on earth He was a great gatherer of the weaker sort, and now that He dwells in heaven, His loving heart yearns towards the meek and contrite, the timid and feeble, the fearful and fainting here below.

How gently did He gather me to Himself, to His truth, to His blood, to His love, to His church! With what effectual grace did He compel me to come to Himself! Since my first conversion, how frequently has He restored me from my wanderings, and once again folded me within the circle of His everlasting arm!

The best of all is, that He does it all Himself personally, not delegating the task of love, but condescending Himself to rescue and preserve His most unworthy servant. How shall I love Him enough or serve Him worthily? I would fain make His name great unto the ends of the earth, but what can my feebleness do for Him?

Great Shepherd, add to Thy mercies this one other, a heart to love Thee more truly as I ought.

Beloved, are still squatting and pouting after this series? Am sure all your fears are gone as promised us by the Holy Spirit at the beginning that everything named fear shall be far away from you at the end of this series.

Let us go rejoicing in the Lord our Savior in whose Name we are saved and made whole. In him also we have our freedom. God is not slacking concerning His promise, as some men count slackness;….(KJV) another translation put it this way, The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay,…(2Pet 3:9 HCSB). Let down the Jezebel of unbelief and let dogs devour it, dearly beloved. Please read 2 Thess 3:3, Ps 138 and Rom 12:11.

Enjoy your weekend in God’s presence as always, see you next week by God’s grace. 2 Pet 3:9

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Trial of Your Faith

0

Come let’s praise the Lord for His mercy endures forever, alleluia. You are the reason why we are singing Jehovah, you are the Most High God.

Glorious God, hallow be thy Name, thank You for another bright day and good health in the land of the living. Blessed be thy Holy Name forever. Forever you will be the lamb upon the Throne, I gladly bow my knees to worship you our Lord.

Beloveth, what a pleasant opportunity we have to live right again. What a rare opportunity you have as a gift to find expression before the Throne of mercy. Shout alleluia! to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Hosanna in the highest to Him alone Who is worthy of our praise forever.

Can a promotion comes without a performance? Put in another way, can you ever get into a higher responsibility without first proven that you have mastered the level were you are?

Same way brethren, our walk with God can only be proven with the things that come our way to test our faith in Him Whom we claim to be our Father. In most case it can lead to deprivation, denials, pains, separation, bruises, death.

On contemplating on these challenges recently, how often we suffer even in the hands of people you think will know better rather the devil uses this same people to accuse and persecute you severely. I was not happy at the turnout of events and was discourage even threatened to challenge them if need be.

But God answered all my questions and calm my anger with this simple analogy which I will also be sharing with you and I believed that it will answer all your questions and encourage you as well.

By the way of ministration a man of God said, “If you resolve to stop worshipping God because you were insulted in the church by an usher, who in the course of duty directed you to sit somewhere else other than where you wanted to sit. He said, than you are free to go but wait until you go to the other side of the religion where you will not only be insulted but you will be assaulted.

How? Someone is asking, never mind I was also kin on hearing the next part. He said, “until you get to where you will be ask to ‘undress down up to your pant and carry sacrifice round the village square or market square in the name of worship” then you tell me which one is better.

To be insulted for God or to assault your personality? Wow! He went further to say, is like you calling your office to say “ I will not be coming to work today because someone insulted you on your way to the office, therefore you are not sure whether you will ever go back to work again. Why? because someone insulted you. He said, wait until your bills start accumulating then you know if that decision is to your best interest.

Beloved, does that proffer any solution for to you? For me, I resolved to follow Him to the end come what may, no matter the level of the insults and assaults put together in God’s Name, He will help me to overlook and move ahead. Are you saying same with me? Is that your resolve as well?

Our fathers and the Apostles of the old had their own fair experiences also to share with you (Gen 39:20; 1 Sam 18:8-9, 11-12; 1Cor 15: 31; 4:9-13; 2Cor 11:24-27; Acts 7:54-60; 12:2-3). What about our dear father Abraham? Can we claim the blessings without passing through the test?

Until your faith is tried, you cannot stand firmly for the Lord.

The trial of your faith.” 1Peter 1:7

Faith untried may be true faith, but it is sure to be little faith, and it is likely to remain dwarfish so long as it is without trials. Faith never prospers so well as when all things are against her: tempests are her trainers, and lightnings are her illuminators. When a calm reigns on the sea, spread the sails as you will, the ship moves not to its harbour; for on a slumbering ocean the keel sleeps too.

Let the winds rush howling forth, and let the waters lift up themselves, then, though the vessel may rock, and her deck may be washed with waves, and her mast may creak under the pressure of the full and swelling sail, it is then that she makes headway towards her desired haven.

No flowers wear so lovely a blue as those which grow at the foot of the frozen glacier; no stars gleam so brightly as those which glisten in the polar sky; no water tastes so sweet as that which springs amid the desert sand; and no faith is so precious as that which lives and triumphs in adversity.

Tried faith brings experience. You could not have believed your own weakness had you not been compelled to pass through the rivers; and you would never have known God’s strength had you not been supported amid the water-floods. Faith increases in solidity, assurance, and intensity, the more it is exercised with tribulation. Faith is precious, and its trial is precious too.

Let not this, however, discourage those who are young in faith. You will have trials enough without seeking them: the full portion will be measured out to you in due season. Meanwhile, if you cannot yet claim the result of long experience, thank God for what grace you have; praise Him for that degree of holy confidence whereunto you have attained: walk according to that rule, and you shall yet have more and more of the blessing of God, till your faith shall remove mountains and conquer impossibilities.

Amen! But hear me, the Lord choose our inheritance for us. What more:

He shall choose our inheritance for us.” Psalm 47:4

Believer, if your inheritance be a lowly one you should be satisfied with your earthly portion; for you may rest assured that it is the fittest for you. Unerring wisdom ordained your lot, and selected for you the safest and best condition.

A ship of large tonnage is to be brought up the river; now, in one part of the stream there is a sandbank; should some one ask, “Why does the captain steer through the deep part of the channel and deviate so much from a straight line?” His answer would be, “Because I should not get my vessel into harbour at all if I did not keep to the deep channel.”

So, it may be, you would run aground and suffer shipwreck, if your divine Captain did not steer you into the depths of affliction where waves of trouble follow each other in quick succession. Some plants die if they have too much sunshine. It may be that you are planted where you get but little, you are put there by the loving Husbandman, because only in that situation will you bring forth fruit unto perfection.

Remember this, had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, divine love would have put you there. You are placed by God in the most suitable circumstances, and if you had the choosing of your lot, you would soon cry, “Lord, choose my inheritance for me, for by my self-will I am pierced through with many sorrows.”

Be content with such things as you have, since the Lord has ordered all things for your good. Take up your own daily cross; it is the burden best suited for your shoulder, and will prove most effective to make you perfect in every good word and work to the glory of God. Down busy self, and proud impatience, it is not for you to choose, but for the Lord of Love!

“Trials must and will befall—

But with humble faith to see

Love inscribed upon them all;

This is happiness to me.”

Lord, try me to preserve me, I pray in Jesus Name. Join me to say that prayer for yourself. May you not fail in your trials in Jesus Name rather let my trails make me strong and firm in Whom I believed, my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Renew a Right Spirit within Me

0

Cast me not O Lord from Your Presence O Lord, take not Thy Holy Spirit from me, restore unto me the joy of thy Salvation, and renew a right Spirit within.

Father we thank You for the gift of another day, another wonderful day to worship and adore You. Praise be to You forever.

Beloved, greeting from the Throne of grace to the Saints in the land who are looking forward to that city which hath a foundation, whose builder and Maker is God. Let us thank God for another privilege to press up our demands towards heaven and get answers.

Our Father answers prayers and yours will not be different. Get compose and speak to your Father Whose love never fails, Who is ever willing to help you even before you cry out.

Beloved, do you remember what necessitated the prayer in today’s topic? Who prayed it and on what occasion was it said?

Ever wonder why God called David the man after His heart? David discovered that he cannot cover his sin. He discovered also he cannot hid it from God no matter how hard he tried. God sent a prophet to him to tell him that he can run but cannot hide from him (God). In that state of helplessness he cried out to God for help. he humbled himself and asked God to not only to forgive him but also to help him by creating in him a renewed and a right Spirit. Did God answered his prayer?

This is my confident and yours also that whenever we asked a help from God, He answers and grant same to us. Standing on that confident, can someone reading this devotional today, discover his/her filthiness and cry unto God? Can you consider your wretchedness before God and ask Him to wash away your sins and renew a right spirit within you. Can you pray that God should take away the perverse, crooked, hateful, sinful spirit and put in you a right spirit?

As we pray today, let us ask God to renew a right Spirit within us. As we go through the message, we will discover at what point do we desire to have a right Spirit renewed within us? At what point do we come to know God better in our walk with Him? You will also discover if you need this prayer line? All these and more will be considered in the message before us today.

Come along with us as we dig deeper into the word:

“Renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10

A backslider, if there be a spark of life left in him will groan after restoration. In this renewal the same exercise of grace is required as at our conversion. We needed repentance then; we certainly need it now. We wanted faith that we might come to Christ at first; only the like grace can bring us to Jesus now.

We wanted a word from the Most High, a word from the lip of the loving One, to end our fears then; we shall soon discover, when under a sense of present sin, that we need it now. No man can be renewed without as real and true a manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s energy as he felt at first, because the work is as great, and flesh and blood are as much in the way now as ever they were.

Let thy personal weakness, O Christian, be an argument to make thee pray earnestly to thy God for help. Remember, David when he felt himself to be powerless, did not fold his arms or close his lips, but he hastened to the mercy-seat with “renew a right spirit within me.” Let not the doctrine that you, unaided, can do nothing, make you sleep; but let it be a goad in your side to drive you with an awful earnestness to Israel’s strong Helper.

O that you may have grace to plead with God, as though you pleaded for your very life—”Lord, renew a right spirit within me.” He who sincerely prays to God to do this, will prove his honesty by using the means through which God works.

Be much in prayer; live much upon the Word of God; kill the lusts which have driven your Lord from you; be careful to watch over the future uprisings of sin. The Lord has His own appointed ways; sit by the wayside and you will be ready when He passes by.

Continue in all those blessed ordinances which will foster and nourish your dying graces; and, knowing that all the power must proceed from Him, cease not to cry, “Renew a right spirit within me.”

Are you saying just that? Do you have any need to cry as David cried? It is on record that we come to know God better when we are tempted, in the wilderness or in great drought. We are driven to God by our very lack and helplessness:

“I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.” Hosea 13:5

Yes, Lord, Thou didst indeed know me in my fallen state, and Thou didst even then choose me for Thyself. When I was loathsome and self-abhorred, Thou didst receive me as Thy child, and Thou didst satisfy my craving wants. Blessed for ever be Thy name for this free, rich, abounding mercy.

Since then, my inward experience has often been a wilderness; but Thou hast owned me still as Thy beloved, and poured streams of love and grace into me to gladden me, and make me fruitful. Yea, when my outward circumstances have been at the worst, and I have wandered in a land of drought, Thy sweet presence has solaced me.

Men have not known me when scorn has awaited me, but Thou hast known my soul in adversities, for no affliction dims the lustre of Thy love. Most gracious Lord, I magnify Thee for all Thy faithfulness to me in trying circumstances, and I deplore that I should at any time have forgotten Thee and been exalted in heart, when I have owed all to Thy gentleness and love. Have mercy upon Thy servant in this thing!

My soul, if Jesus thus acknowledged thee in thy low estate, be sure that thou own both Himself and His cause now that thou art in thy prosperity. Be not lifted up by thy worldly successes so as to be ashamed of the truth or of the poor church with which thou hast been associated. Follow Jesus into the wilderness: bear the cross with Him when the heat of persecution grows hot.

He owned thee, O my soul, in thy poverty and shame—never be so treacherous as to be ashamed of Him. O for more shame at the thought of being ashamed of my best Beloved! Jesus, my soul cleaveth to Thee.

“I’ll turn to Thee in days of light,

As well as nights of care,

Thou brightest amid all that’s bright!

Thou fairest of the fair!”

Pray for God’s intervention in your life and situation as He will by His mighty Hand rescue you and renew the right Spirit within you.

We believe You Lord to save every harden sinners, backslider that seek Your touch today. We trust You also to strengthen all those in faith as Your Spirit grows deeper in them. Amen!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Holy Fear

0

Every praise is to our God. Every worship to our God, every praise to our God ooo.  Lift Jesus higher higher, lift up Jesus higher higher. I surrender, I surrender all; I surrender, I surrender all; all to Thee my blessed Saviour I surrender all.

Heavenly Father, we want to bless your Holy Name, we want to worship You with everything in us because of Who You are not because of what you have done. We bow before you Lord with the twenty and four elders in heaven shouting Holy Holy Holy is the Lord.

Beloved, how did you feel after reading yesterday ministration? I felt good, what about you? I also felt that am in charge, are you feeling same way? I know that the only fear a child of God should fear is fear itself and the good news is that Fear is never Real. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.

Fear is a torment according to the word of God. It paralyze an individual and make one immobile at the moment is allowed it into one’s life (Num 13:33; Lev 26:17; Exo 14:12). As part of dealing with fear, many takes sedatives to sleep as to overcome it but the sad news is that it is waiting to announce itself as soon as such a person wakes up.

The solution is to confront your fear, whatever be it. You might have lost everything and you are thinking about how to start again but it is better to start again than to keep running from your shadow because your shadow will follow you everywhere you go. And God fear not (Gen 26:24; Josh 1:9; Isa 41:10, 13)

We mention in yesterday message that “decision”, “focus”, “resolve” is what the devil is attacking in your life, therefore if you’re a waverer, you are still a candidate of fear but as soon as you make a resolve, decision to move forward or get focus in your resolve, the enemy of your soul will come to the battle field with you, so beware and stand firm.

To overcome fear we must put our “hope” antenna to work. Hope is an essential and fundamental element of Christian life. In it is the whole glory of the Christian vocation is centered (Eph 1:18). We have a lively hope, a hope without frail and perishable, but having a perennial life (Pet 1:3). While Christ is the actual object of the believer’s hope (Col 1:27; Tit 2:13) and our hope for eternal life (Rom 12:12) is not same with the unbeliever (Eph 2:12; 1Thess 4:13).

Beloved, there is a fear that has no torment but joy and insight. It is linked with love and hope and is therefore not a slavish dread, but rather loving reverence (Isa 63:16; 64:8). That is what we are considering today by God’s grace and as promised us by the Spirit of God, will never be diminished by fear after this series.

Come along with me as we consider further on “fear”

He that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.” Prov. 13:13

Holy awe of God’s Word is at a great discount. Men think themselves wiser than the Word of the Lord, and sit in judgment upon it. “So did not I, because of the fear of God.” We accept the inspired Book as infallible, and prove our esteem by our obedience. We have no terror of the Word, but we have a filial awe of it. We are not in fear of its penalties, because we have a fear of its commands.

This holy fear of the commandment produces the restfulness of humility, which is far sweeter than the recklessness of pride. It becomes a guide to us in our movements; a drag when we are going down-hill, and a stimulus when we are climbing it.

Preserved from evil and led into righteousness by our reverence of the command, we gain a quiet conscience, which is a well of wine; a sense of freedom from responsibility, which is as life from the dead; and a confidence of pleasing God, which is Heaven below.

The ungodly may ridicule our deep reverence for the Word of the Lord; but what of that? The prize of our high calling is a sufficient consolation for us. The rewards of obedience make us scorn the scorning of the scorner.

Our God is the fear of Isaac (Gen 31:42.53) and we also are to fear Him (Phil 2:12; Heb 12:28-29; 2 Cor 5:11). Are fleeing when no one is pursueth you not?

 Diminished By Fear

Recently I asked a group of businessmen their greatest concern in life. Their answer? Fear:

Of the future, failure, the past, peers, financial ruin, superiors, bad health, the competition, death, personal inadequacies, parents, the rejection of their children, and the unknown.

Aristotle observed the paralyzing effect of fear upon our lives:

“Elderly men… have often been taken in, and often made mistakes. The result is they are sure about nothing and under-do everything. They ‘think’, but they never ‘know’; and because of their hesitation they always add a ‘possibility’ or a ‘perhaps’, putting everything this way and nothing positively… They are cynical; that is, they tend to put the worst construction on everything.”

They are small-minded, because they have been humbled by life: their desires are set upon nothing more exalted or unusual than what will help them to keep aliveTHEY GUIDE THEIR LIVES TOO MUCH BY CONSIDERATIONS OF WHAT IS USEFUL AND TOO LITTLE BY WHAT IS NOBLE[They] lack confidence in the futurepartly because of their cowardice. They live by memory rather than by hope… “

Obviously, “fear has to do with torment… ” (1 John 4:18b). But the good news is that God offers us deliverance from its bondage,

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4)

If you are struggling with fear, refuse to allow Satan to gain the upper hand. Claim God’s promises. Memorize, meditate, and appropriate His promises for your life. By so doing, you will put yourself in a position where God can, and will, set you free from the bondage of fear:

If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31, 32) (See John 8:36; Psalm 119:45; Romans 6:14-18,22; 8:2)

“‘… Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraidfor I myself will help you, declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.” (Isaiah 41:10, 11, 14) (See Psalm 27:1, 2; 46:2; 56:3; Isaiah 12:2; 2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 8:15; 1 John 4:18)

QUESTION: How do you and I plan to live the rest of our lives? Paralyzed and diminished by fear? Or liberated by the promises in God’s Word? As always, the choice is ours.

Always remember Josh 1:9; Deut 3:22; Jer 15: 20-21; Lk 12:4 as a weapon of your warfare.

Finally read this and be greatly encourage Ps 91:5 and Jer 17:7.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Godly Stability

0

I have a joy like a river, joy like a river, joy like a river in my soul x2. Glory, honour, power and Majesty belongs to Lord our God.

Blessed Redeemer, Wonderful Messiah, Excellent Counsel, Our Soon Coming King, we bow down before Your Throne. Thank You for the gift of another day, another week, we are most grateful, we praise Your Holy Name forever and ever.

Beloved, how has been with you? Glory be to God I heard you said. O! I like that, thank God for that. It is indeed worthy of us to place our hope in God Who can do all things. He is faithful, He is kind, He is loving and caring, He gave us peace and joy, He replenishes our strength, and raises our head when we are down casted.

I was confronted with some issues recently and the options before me which seem good will not glorify Whom I claimed is my Father, the Owner of the universe. As thought were swelling up in me and the devil is offering a cheaper way of getting around it, immediately I renounce it and mutter to myself  I will rather place my confident in God instead of  seeking that option. This happened three times, I refused to acknowledge that way as an option to my solution.

I finally said loud to myself “God is my confident and in Him is my confidence”, let Him do what is best for me.” I never allowed the suggestions of the devil to prevail over my confident in God after which my peace was restored.

Then I came to the realization that why we sometime fail to pull over so many of our challenges in life is rooted in “fear”. Simple put “the fear of the unknown.”  When we make “if” higher than God, we fall victim to evil circumstances. When we allow the fear of what will happen tomorrow to cripple the joy of today instead of leaving it in the hand of God who knows what tomorrow holds for you.

We decide to worry, dissipate our energy and strength worrying over what will never be or if it will eventually be God will have orchestrated a way out it, even if that is not the immediate solution, the Lord will have set us on the path of eventual success.

Looking around the happening of event around me, I came to the conclusion, that if fear is rooted out many of us, we will live out our destiny in full instead of bring down upon ourselves many disease and sickness which were as result of fear of what might be which eventually will never be.

Beloved, our hope in God will root out every fear in our heart. How? someone wants to know.

We must place our confident in God by going through His Word with the Holy Spirit helping our understanding of the scriptures not of letter but of Spirit and life.  Our ignorance of the scriptures is the bane of most Christina. How can you claim to be an engineer without undergoing a training in that same field, you will never succeed in it. Same way, if you claim to b Christian without taking out time to read the bible which is your manual for living, you will clash land  instead of safe land over issues of life.

The devil will put so many stumbling blocks your way, telling you things that was never written and you will believe because you never take out time to know what your Father said concerning matters of that nature.

Another reason we allow fear to take over us is that we draw our references often times from what happened to another person instead of trusting in God to see us through in what befell us. We quickly conclude that there is no way out the problem when Jesus is only “Way” out of every mountain and difficult situation.

Again, is when you don’t know whom you are in God. Beloved, it is in the Word of God you discover your identity in God. Recall the song we ended with in last week message? “Do you still remember who God said you are?

The text in our topic of the day said that though they will be try their very best to get at you, to destroy you but God said “ I will make thee a fenced brazen wall, all their fighting, enchantments and wicked acts will not prevail against thee,  for He is with you to save and deliver thee.

The first time I encountered this verse in the book of Jeremiah, my confident in God tripled. I was so embolden in God and I have nothing to fear.

When God say to you never mind what is happening around you that He is to protect you and keep you safe. Why should you be afraid again? He that keepeth Israel neither slumber nor sleep. It is He Who said “fear not” I will save you. Praise the Lord.

By the grace of God, the Spirit of God will help us to walk over our fears and challenges in life after this week series in Jesus Name.

Come along as we learn more how to boost our confident in God and maintain Godly stability in all our undertaking:

“And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brazen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord’ Jer. 15:20

Stability in the fear and faith of God will make a man like a wall of brass, which no one can batter down or break. Only the Lord can make such; but we need such men in the church, and in the world, but specially in the pulpit.

Against uncompromising men of truth this age of shams will fight tooth and nail. Nothing seems to offend Satan and his seed like decision. They attack holy firmness even as the Assyrians besieged fenced cities. The joy is that they cannot prevail against those whom God has made strong in His strength. Carried about with every wind of doctrine, others only need to be blown upon, and away they go; but those who love the doctrines of grace, because they possess the grace of the doctrines, stand like rocks in the midst of raging seas.

Whence this stability? “I am with thee, saith the Lord”: that is the true answer. Jehovah will save and deliver faithful souls from all the assaults of the adversary. Hosts are against us, but the Lord of hosts is with us. We dare not budge an inch; for the Lord Himself holds us in our place, and there we will abide for ever.

Did you read that, nothing offend Satan and his cohort like “decision”, “Focus”, or “Resolve”. It gets him offended and he will fight you to stand still whenever you make a resolve either to follow hard on God, business, career or ministry decision that will move you forward. He will want to confuse you, fight you and make you run round the circle as if you did not receive the message from God. You may even witness failure and you will being to wonder is God in this with me.

People will even question or doubt you but one thing I know is that God is not an author of confusion therefore every forces of the tower of Babel send to confuse what the Lord has said to us or set to do in our lives must not succeed in Jesus Name. They will clash and be consume by the fire of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. We must take decisions that must move us forward through the intervention of God this time in Jesus Name. We are moving forward, we are stoppable by His Mighty Hand upon us Amen!

Let us discover more on how to overcome our fear through surrendering our life to God:

The Key To The Christian Life Is Surrender

Are you fearful about the future? Apprehensive that the bottom might fall out? Concerned at the prospect of some future calamity? The only answer to quelling such fears is SURRENDERING to our wise, all-knowing sovereign Father.

“Those who listen to Me will be secure and will live at ease, without dread of disaster.” (Proverbs 1:33b) (See Proverbs 31:25; Jeremiah 17:7, 8)

Are you experiencing a difficult relationship in the family or at work? Perhaps you are perplexed by an association in which you feel misunderstood or mistreated. Again, the answer to inner peace lies in SURRENDER.

“Therefore, as Gods chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” (Colossians 3:12, 13)

Are you fearful that you might not be able to maintain control over your finances? Concerned that they could slip away, or be diminished by a bad investment, or by an economic crisis beyond your control? Again, SURRENDER is the only hope for inner peace.

Riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generationsCast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.” (Proverbs 27:24; 23:5) (See Psalm 25:12, 13)

Are you worried about your health? Of getting cancer? Or growing old? Are you fearful that a family member might be stricken or die prematurely? This side of eternity there certainly are no guarantees of a sublime, pain-free life. So again, the answer lies in SURRENDER to our wise and loving Shepherd.

“Those who hope in me will not be disappointed.” (Isaiah 49:23b)

But SURRENDERING our will to His does not come easily. The reason? “We seek what one might call a relative omnipotence: The power to have everything we want, to enjoy every thing we desire, to demand that all our wishes be satisfied and that our will should never be frustrated or opposed. It is the need to have everyone to bow to our judgment and accept our declarations as law. It is the insatiable thirst for recognition of the excellence we so desperately need to find in ourselves to avoid despair… ” (Thomas Merton)

Humanly, it would seem that achieving inner peace would be dependent upon our ability to consummate and maintain control over our lives in every area. His condition for our peace, however, is based on our categorical, unconditional SURRENDER to Him and His sovereign will. Jesus demonstrated His SURRENDER to the Father in praying, “Not as I will, but as You will.” (Matthew 26:39b) Do you choose to do the same?

As you go through the week, make a resolve to surrender all to the “All-knowing God” and see all your fear flee at the instance of His Divine Intervention” Praise God. Not forgetting that they assault notwithstanding, the Lord said, He will make you “a fence brazen wall, they will fight but will not prevail against thee, but will save you.”

In fighting you, they will but they will not prevail against you. So go in that confident all this week and beyond in Jesus Name and you soon see the wonder you will soon become.

Don’t forget also that though “the host is against us but the Lord of host is with us. Amen! That is a greater confident, I suppose.  Praise the Lord.

Finally, read up Zech 8: 12-13; Eph 1:17-23.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Ever Feel Lousy about Yourself?

Alleluia for the Lord God Mighty reign x3, It is raining all over me I can feel it the later rain ride on Jesus give us this rain until we are until soak with later rain. Father we declare that we love you we declare an everlasting love for you. Father we declare that we love you we declare an everlasting love for You.

Good morning Father, Son and Holy Spirit for a brand new day heralding us into a great weekend. Thank You for your preservation and protection all through the week long. We are grateful for Your ever- abiding Presence in our lives even when we cannot see or feel you, You are there watching over us. Thank you Father. We are humbling ask of Your forgiveness for all our doubt, fear, worries, that characterize our walk with you. Thank You for making us whole again (Ps 30:5)

Beloved, how are doing? Great I suppose?  Do you know that all  who call on God in true faith, earnestly from the heart, will certainly be heard, and will receive what they have asked and desired, although not in the hour or in the measure, or the very thing which they ask; yet they will obtain something greater and more glorious than they had dared to ask? I want you to thank God for this assurance in Him, always remember that his faithfulness never ends and He knowest every of your need therefore come before Him believing (Matt 6:8)

Let us not be too desirous in our ventures but always delight ourselves in Him, then His transforming power will lift us up above our fallen nature. Instead of fretting and pinning for trivialities, we should be content with God alone.

Someone is not on the same page with me. Is possible you are not just happy about events happening around you. But wait a minute, did you read yesterday’s message? If you did, I think you will be feeling better by now. You can still run through it, is never late to seek redress.

Our topic today is meant to help us get out from the many pits we dug for ourselves limiting and preventing us from being what God has created us to be. In some cases, the devil kept lying to you that you are no good. He molest and harass  you either for what you actually did or he wants to input charges against you even when the gospel of Jesus has pronounce you clean and made you whole. He make up things to put you down, sometimes he uses someone very close to you to torment your life. That is ending today, you will encounter light that will set you on high forever.

Beloved, how dare forget that you are wonderfully and skillful made? How dare you forget that in His image He created you? How dare you forget that He promised to meet all your needs according to his riches in glory? Who told you that you are barren when His word said otherwise (none shall be barren; his children will surround his table)

Now by the grace of God after your encounter with today’s message you will never feel down again. You be in command and stay on top of situations instead of beneath it and all it attending weights. You are putting an end to it forever. Are you agreeing with me? Are you saying yes to God’s proposal? Come and see the value placed on you by God. The worth of an individual cost Him His only begotten son, that’s how valuable you are. Let’s find out more:

Ever Feel Lousy About Yourself?

You need to know how God feels about you:

  • You are “majestic” in His eyes (Literally: excellent, glorious, mighty, worthy)
  • You are the source of all His delight (Psalm 16:3)

Zephaniah 3:17 puts it this way:

  • The Lord is with you
  • He takes great delight in you
  • He will quiet you with His love
  • He rejoices over you with singing

Of you He says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” (Jeremiah 31:3) He has always loved you! Even before you were conceived!

Yes, I know you are a sinner. That is not new information. But in His eyes your problem with sin has nothing to do with your intrinsic worth. If your daughter contracts cancer, her worth is not diminished in your eyes, is it?

As the kid said, “God didn’t make any junk.” The truth is that “you are fearfully and wonderfully madeskillfully wrought: God’s marvelous creation! (Psalm 139:14, 15) In fact, “while we were sinners” — scuzzball rebels — Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) Before we cleaned up our act, He crawled up on that cross for us. Is there a more forceful demonstration of unconditional love?… Of your worth to Him?

So, this week as you enter the shark infested waters of the marketplace, keep in mind the fact that you are A CHILD OF THE KING. A PERSON OF INFINITE, ETERNAL WORTH.

I heard someone singing a song of rejoicing and another dancing with overwhelming joy. Beloved, that is who you are before God; that is the price He paid for your freedom. There is overflowing grace in the house. I told you, that you will never remain same after your encounter with exceeding grace. It will keep transforming your from one glory to another lever of glory. He has chosen you out from the world to His forever:

“I have chosen you out of the world.” John 15:19

Here is distinguishing grace and discriminating regard; for some are made the special objects of divine affection. Do not be afraid to dwell upon this high doctrine of election. When your mind is most heavy and depressed, you will find it to be a bottle of richest cordial. Those who doubt the doctrines of grace, or who cast them into the shade, miss the richest clusters of Eshcol; they lose the wines on the lees well refined, the fat things full of marrow. There is no balm in Gilead comparable to it.

If the honey in Jonathan’s wood when but touched enlightened the eyes, this is honey which will enlighten your heart to love and learn the mysteries of the kingdom of God. Eat, and fear not a surfeit; live upon this choice dainty, and fear not that it will be too delicate a diet. Meat from the King’s table will hurt none of His courtiers.

Desire to have your mind enlarged, that you may comprehend more and more the eternal, everlasting, discriminating love of God. When you have mounted as high as election, tarry on its sister mount, the covenant of grace. Covenant engagements are the munitions of stupendous rock behind which we lie entrenched; covenant engagements with the surety, Christ Jesus, are the quiet resting-places of trembling spirits.

“His oath, His covenant, His blood,

Support me in the raging flood;a

When every earthly prop gives way,

This still is all my strength and stay.”

If Jesus undertook to bring me to glory, and if the Father promised that He would give me to the Son to be a part of the infinite reward of the travail of His soul; then, my soul, till God Himself shall be unfaithful, till Jesus shall cease to be the truth, thou art safe. When David danced before the ark, he told Michal that election made him do so.

Come, my soul, exult before the God of grace and leap for joy of heart. Are dancing? Are you rejoicing?  Beloved, the truth is that you are created for His glory and no power is permitted to put you down. You are among the elect; so what are doing among the crowd? Come on, as we sing and dance in the Lord.

We are a chosen generation
Called forth to show His excellence
All I require for life, God has given me
And I know who I am

[2x]
I know who God says I am
What He says I am
Where He says I’m at
I know who I am

[2x]
I’m walking in power,
I’m walking miracles
I live a life of favor,
‘Cause I know who I am

[Repeat from the top]

Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
I know who I am
[Repeat]

I am holy, I am righteous oh…
I am so rich, I am beautiful

[2x]
I’m walking in power,
I’m walking miracles
I live a life of favor,
‘Cause I know who I am

Take a look at me, I’m a wonder
It doesn’t matter what you see now
Can you see His glory?
‘Cause I know who I am
[Repeat]

[2x]
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
I know who I am

See you next week by God’s grace. He will surely uphold you to the end (Isa 54:10).

Remain blessed in the Lord
