Full Reliance On God

0

Father, we blessed Your Holy Name, we reverence You, we exalt You, be magnified O! Lord above the heavens. Let glory, honour, be ascribe unto You forever.

You a Mighty God, the great IAM, You are our Healer; the great Physician, who can be likened You.

When you lift your eyes unto the hill, where does your help comes from? My help comes from the Lord Who made heaven and earth. Indeed God is my helper, I shall not be afraid, what can man do to me? What about you beloved? Can you confidently say, God is your helper?

We cannot go far without the support of heavenly Father, He is the one that made us not we ourselves. Looking up unto Him will never bring shame nor dishonor. No time is late to knock at the door, no security post or guide to hinder our access to Him.

If all these are possible beloved, in God, why don’t we rely on Him fully, come and see the benefit of this reliance on Him:

“For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.” Ps. 72:12

The needy cries; what else can he do? His cry is heard of God; what else need he do? Let the needy reader take to crying at once, for this will be his wisdom. Do not cry in the ears of friends, for even if they can help you it is only because the Lord enables them. The nearest way is to go straight to God, and let your cry come up before Him. Straightforward makes the best runner: run to the Lord, and not to secondary causes.

“Alas!” you cry, “I have no friend or helper.” So much the better; you can rely upon God in both capacities — as without supplies and without helpers. Make your double need your double plea. Even for temporal mercies you may wait upon God, for He careth for His children in these temporary concerns. As for spiritual necessities, which are the heaviest of all, the Lord will hear your cry, and will deliver you and supply you.

O poor friend, try your rich God. O helpless one, lean on His help. He has never failed me, and I am sure He will never fail you. Come as a beggar, and God will not refuse you help. Come with no plea but His grace. Jesus is King, will He let you perish of want? What! Did you forget this?

Continual faith was the only way to go; perseverance should be our way out. You cannot give what you don’t have. It will natural come within. Read more:

“For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2Peter 1:8

If we desire to glorify our Lord by fruitfulness we must have certain things within us; for nothing can come out of us which is not first of all within us. We must begin with faith, which is the groundwork of all the virtues; and then diligently add to it virtue, knowledge, temperance, and patience. With these we must have godliness and brotherly love.

All these put together will most assuredly cause us to produce, as our life fruit, the clusters of usefulness, and we shall not be mere idle knowers, but real doers of the Word. These holy things must not only be in us, but abound, or we shall be barren. Fruit is the overflow of life, and we must be full before we can flow over.

We have noticed men of considerable parts and opportunities who have never succeeded in doing real good in the conversion of souls; and after close observation we have concluded that they lacked certain graces which are absolutely essential to fruit-bearing. For real usefulness, graces are better than gifts. As the man is, so is his work.

If we would do better we must be better. Let the text be a gentle hint to unfruitful professors, and to myself also.

Note this message because it leading us some where this month. Your fruitfulness with grace will be needed in fulfilling the great commission.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Remind God of His Promise

0

How Excellent is Your Name, how Wonderful, You are Gracious God. Come with great power, O God, and rescue me! Defend me with Your Might. Listen to my prayer, O God. Pay attention to my plea. For strangers are attacking me; violent people are trying to kill me. They care nothing for God. But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! May the evil plans of my enemies be turned against them. Do as you promised and put an end to them.  I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to you; I will praise your name, O Lord, for it is good. For you have rescued me from my troubles and helped me to triumph over my enemies. Ps 54:1-7 (NLT)

Beloved, is praying day! is praying time!! Are you ready? Received strength in Jesus Name. Amen! In our edition for today, we have to bring before God the prophetic theme of the month “our month of BLESSEDNESS”. Whatsoever you regard as blessing to your life, spouse, children, career, ministry, etc. bring it before God and see His hands working on your behalf.

God’s blessing on an individual affects even generation yet unborn. Let us consider few people in the bible that enjoyed these generational blessings, Abrahamic blessing – Isaac inherited it that even when there was famine in the land, he sowed and reaped hundred folds. Jacob was blessed when his name was changed from Jacob to Israel and generation after him became God’s own people. What about Joseph when God gave in the grace to interpret Pharaoh’s dream, he became Egyptian Prime Minister from prison that saved His brothers from being obliterate when famine attacked the land and they lived in Egypt long after he was dead.

Daniel is another man that enjoyed God’s blessing, another dream interpretation and wisdom enthroned him to work with many kings in his time. God’s blessings located Bathsheba and placed her son, Solomon as king after David’s reign as against her mates, who by birth right and otherwise would have inherited the throne.

Phinehas whose zeal for God earned him and his descendant special covenant of peace and permanent right to priesthood Num 25:11 (NLT)

Someone is catching something now, understanding is coming more than before. Now can you go to God in prayer and being to plead for His blessing upon yourself, your spouse, your children, the works of your hand and your ministry. Invoke God’s blessings upon them and they will never be the same.

Go to him in prayer my beloved and remind Him of all His promises to you (Deut 28:3):

“And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good.” Gen. 32:12

This is the sure way of prevailing with the Lord in prayer. We may humbly remind Him of what He has said. Our faithful God will never run back from His word, nor will He leave it unfulfilled; yet He loves to be enquired of by His people, and put in mind of His promise. This is refreshing to their memories, reviving to their faith, and renewing to their hope. God’s Word is given, not for His sake, but for ours. His purposes are settled, and He needs nothing to bind Him to His design of doing His people good; but He gives the promise for our strengthening and comfort. Hence He wishes us to plead it, and say to Him, “Thou saidst.””I will surely do thee good” is just the essence of all the Lord’s gracious sayings.

Lay a special stress on the word “surely.” He will do us good, real good, lasting good, only good, every good. He will make us good, and this is to do us good in the very highest degree. He will treat us as He does his saints while we are here, and that is good. He will soon take us to be with Jesus and all His chosen, and that is supremely good. With this promise in our hearts we need not fear angry Esau, nor anyone else. If the Lord will do us good, who can do us hurt?

To partake of the above promises we must hold strong to our faith in Christ Jesus. The devil and his agents and principalities will venture to challenge you. Never mind, hold on to Jesus for He is the head of all principality and power (Col 2:10):

“Continue in the faith.” Acts 14:22

Perseverance is the badge of true saints. The Christian life is not a beginning only in the ways of God, but also a continuance in the same as long as life lasts. It is with a Christian as it was with the great Napoleon: he said, “Conquest has made me what I am, and conquest must maintain me.” So, under God, dear brother in the Lord, conquest has made you what you are, and conquest must sustain you. Your motto must be, “Excelsior.” He only is a true conqueror, and shall be crowned at the last, who continueth till war’s trumpet is blown no more.

Perseverance is, therefore, the target of all our spiritual enemies. The world does not object to your being a Christian for a time, if she can but tempt you to cease your pilgrimage, and settle down to buy and sell with her in Vanity Fair.

The flesh will seek to ensnare you, and to prevent your pressing on to glory. “It is weary work being a pilgrim; come, give it up. Am I always to be mortified? Am I never to be indulged? Give me at least a furlough from this constant warfare.”

Satan will make many a fierce attack on your perseverance; it will be the mark for all his arrows. He will strive to hinder you in service: he will insinuate that you are doing no good; and that you want rest. He will endeavour to make you weary of suffering, he will whisper, “Curse God, and die.” Or he will attack your steadfastness: “What is the good of being so zealous? Be quiet like the rest; sleep as do others, and let your lamp go out as the other virgins do.”

Or he will assail your doctrinal sentiments: “Why do you hold to these denominational creeds? Sensible men are getting more liberal; they are removing the old landmarks: fall in with the times.”

Wear your shield, Christian, therefore, close upon your armour, and cry mightily unto God, that by His Spirit you may endure to the end.

May you and I receive strength to persevere in our life, in work life in Jesus Name. Amen!

Remain in blessed in Lord.

God’s Treasury

0

Eternal Rock of ages, who is like unto Thee, there is none like Thee. Thank You for a bright day You have given us, glory be to You Lord.  Gracious God, we adore You forever.

Beloved, we have an awesome Father and His mercies endures to all generation. When you are blessed by God, you are indeed blessed. His blessings add no sorrow to you.

Oftentimes, we have expectation and we pray for it without receiving, James said because we ask amiss. My prayer is that we don’t ask amiss going forward in Jesus Name.

In today’s message we will encounter God’s treasury that which only Him owns and distributes at will. We have the liberty to part take or restrain ourselves. How? Someone is asking. When you are not born-again, secondly when you are in sin.

As the Lord invites you to His store house to part-take of His treasure, please come quickly, do not delay, come and be part of it, Amen!

“The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure.” Deut. 28:12

This refers first to the rain. The Lord will give this in its season. Rain is the emblem of all those celestial refreshings which the Lord is ready to bestow upon His people. Oh for a copious shower to refresh the Lord’s heritage!

We seem to think that God’s treasury can only be opened by a great prophet like Elijah, but it is not so, for this promise is to all the faithful in Israel, and, indeed, to each one of them. O believing friend, “the Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure.” Thou, too, mayest see Heaven opened, and thrust in thy hand and take out thy portion, yea, and a portion for all thy brethren round about thee. Ask what thou wilt, and thou shalt not be denied, if thou abidest in Christ, and His words abide in thee.

As yet thou hast not known all thy Lord’s treasures, but He shall open them up to thine understanding. Certainly thou hast not yet enjoyed the fullness of His covenant riches, but He will direct thine heart into His love, and reveal Jesus in thee. Only the Lord himself can do this for thee; but here -is His promise, and if thou wilt hearken diligently unto His voice, and obey His will, His riches in glory by Christ Jesus shall be thine.

When you obey His commands and fear Him in all your doings, your burden will be lifted off your shoulder and He will bear all your burden. Has He said it, will He not do it. He will bear your burden my beloveth. Remember, we have the liberty to questions God, where you are in dark but once clarification or illumination comes, we are not to doubt Him, for God distaste it, and such a person, the Word of God said, will not receive from Him and it is counted as unrighteousness.

Beloved, where are those areas we have concerns about, it might finances, wayward children, unfaithful spouses, difficult boss, unbelieving parents and many more. Why not cast your burden upon Him who knows the end from the beginning, On Him, Who has the manufacturer manual, He will know what to do, for He is God Almighty. Praise God somebody:

“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.” Psalm 55:22

Care, even though exercised upon legitimate objects, if carried to excess, has in it the nature of sin. The precept to avoid anxious care is earnestly inculcated by our Saviour, again and again; it is reiterated by the apostles; and it is one which cannot be neglected without involving transgression: for the very essence of anxious care is the imagining that we are wiser than God, and the thrusting ourselves into His place to do for Him that which He has undertaken to do for us.

We attempt to think of that which we fancy He will forget; we labour to take upon ourselves our weary burden, as if He were unable or unwilling to take it for us. Now this disobedience to His plain precept, this unbelief in His Word, this presumption in intruding upon His province, is all sinful. Yet more than this, anxious care often leads to acts of sin. He who cannot calmly leave his affairs in God’s hand, but will carry his own burden, is very likely to be tempted to use wrong means to help himself.

This sin leads to a forsaking of God as our counsellor, and resorting instead to human wisdom. This is going to the “broken cistern” instead of to the “fountain;” a sin which was laid against Israel of old. Anxiety makes us doubt God’s lovingkindness, and thus our love to Him grows cold; we feel mistrust, and thus grieve the Spirit of God, so that our prayers become hindered, our consistent example marred, and our life one of self-seeking.

Thus want of confidence in God leads us to wander far from Him; but if through simple faith in His promise, we cast each burden as it comes upon Him, and are “careful for nothing” because He undertakes to care for us, it will keep us close to Him, and strengthen us against much temptation.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee.”

Beloved, we have the tendencies to carry our burden and help God because He is likely to forget. God provide even for the ants and the raven, talk less of us He made in His own image. When your Spirit begins to fret, apply “caution” May the Holy Spirit help us to discipline ourselves and be less God unto ourselves in Jesus Name.

Don’t forget it is our month of blessedness and only you can stop yourself because by the mandate He has given us, you are unstoppable. Go for it, for He is with you always (2 Cor 9 : 8).

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Our Month of Blessedness”

Song

There are three hands in the clock

One for hours, one for minutes, one for seconds

Jesus made everything beautiful

If only I will wait for His time.

Chorus

In His time   x2

He makes all things beautiful in His time.

Lord, please show me every day as You are teaching me Your way

That You make things beautiful in Your time.

Beloved, what an awesome moment we had in God’s presence in the month of May. Despite all the up and down that came with it, but it is all part of life and growth. Praise God.

We are grateful to the Almighty Father, Who is so gracious and kind to His children. Who promised us that He will not allow our feet to be moved. Father, we are grateful unto the Thee O! Lord of heaven and earth. Blessed be Thy Holy Name forever.

Ancient of Days, here we are again in this new month at Your feet to hear from You, speak to us through the vessels You have prepared and set apart for Your people. Fill them to overflowing, release Your strength upon them to accomplish Your works in Jesus Name. Amen!

Beloved, we are glad to announce to you the package the Lord has set to beautify you in this month of June. The prophetic word for the month of June 2014 is “our month of BLESSEDNESS”- Ps 112.

Be ready as the Lord is set to bless you beyond your imagination. Only be in the place of obedience and you will sing and shout with joy and rejoicing.

Come along with me to see what happens when your blessing comes from God:

“Ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water.” Exod. 23:25

What a promise is this! To serve God is in itself a high delight. But what an added privilege to have the blessing of the Lord resting upon us in all things! Our commonest things become blessed when we ourselves are consecrated to the Lord. Our Lord Jesus took bread and blessed it; behold, we also eat of blessed bread. Jesus blessed water and made it wine: the water which we drink is far better to us than any of the wine with which men make merry; every drop has a benediction in it. The divine blessing is on the man of God in everything, and it shall abide with him at every time.

What if we have only bread and water! Yet it is blessed bread and water. Bread and water we shall have. That is implied, for it must be there for God to bless it. “Thy bread shall be given thee, and thy waters shall be sure.” With God at our table, we not only ask a blessing, but we have one. It is not only at the altar but at the table that He blesses us. He serves those well who serve Him well. This table-blessing is not of debt, but of grace. Indeed, there is a troubled grace; He grants us grace to serve Him, by His grace feeds us with bread, and then in His grace blesses it.

What a blessing to eat with the Lord by your side. Peradventure you are not convinced by the message above considering all that you might gone through before now. We are in the sixth month of the year, that is, half of the year gone and the plans of the first quarter and the second quarter are yet to pull through.

Never mind dear beloved, don’t forget the song that ushered you into this month of Blessedness, said “In His time” “not your time”. Our God does not dwell in “Time” for He is “Infinite”. In fact the song I wrote up there was sang by my children as they were about to leaving the house to school. I quickly ask them to sing it again while I pen it down. So you can see that I was not as bright early this morning but the Lord encouraged me and I am doing same to you. Our heart desire will He grant unto us as we listen, obey and fellow Him.

However, we are going to do a little exercise of our mind and brain. Come as we fall back to our memory lane to recall not only that which God are yet to do but also the ones He has done and even that He did without our asking so that we can receive help:

“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.” Lamentations 3:21

Memory is frequently the bondslave of despondency. Despairing minds call to remembrance every dark foreboding in the past, and dilate upon every gloomy feature in the present; thus memory, clothed in sackcloth, presents to the mind a cup of mingled gall and wormwood.

There is, however, no necessity for this. Wisdom can readily transform memory into an angel of comfort. That same recollection which in its left hand brings so many gloomy omens, may be trained to bear in its right a wealth of hopeful signs. She need not wear a crown of iron, she may encircle her brow with a fillet of gold, all spangled with stars.

Thus it was in Jeremiah’s experience: in the previous verse memory had brought him to deep humiliation of soul: “My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me”; and now this same memory restored him to life and comfort. “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.” Like a two-edged sword, his memory first killed his pride with one edge, and then slew his despair with the other.

As a general principle, if we would exercise our memories more wisely, we might, in our very darkest distress, strike a match which would instantaneously kindle the lamp of comfort. There is no need for God to create a new thing upon the earth in order to restore believers to joy; if they would prayerfully rake the ashes of the past, they would find light for the present; and if they would turn to the book of truth and the throne of grace, their candle would soon shine as aforetime.

Be it ours to remember the lovingkindness of the Lord, and to rehearse His deeds of grace. Let us open the volume of recollection which is so richly illuminated with memorials of mercy, and we shall soon be happy. Thus memory may be, as Coleridge calls it, “the bosom-spring of joy,” and when the Divine Comforter bends it to His service, it may be chief among earthly comforters.

Beloved, in this month of Blessedness”, the Lord will you comfort from all sides in Jesus Name. You will experience a height you never imagine, but I will ask of one thing, make sure you fellow us by reading your devotional daily and your eyes will be open to those areas your break through is hidden. Once again welcome to the “Month of Blessedness” as declared by the Lord.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“… but joy cometh in the morning.”

Jehovah You reign, You reign in the Heaven and on the Earth, all power belongs to You. Father, You say a thing and it comes into being. There is no one like you. You are full of mercies and compassion. Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Thank You for another month completed in You. You are a Strong Tower, the righteous runs into and are secured. Receive all our praise and adoration in Jesus Name.

Beloved, what an Awesome God we serve. From generation to generation He remaineth the same. There is none like Him. What is it that you are believing God for even for this month, the Lord will deliver it to you, Amen.  Someone is looking at the hours left for the month to roll by, beloved do you know that each miracle we received are record in second and yours will not be an exception, likewise mine.

I believe God that before the end of today something dramatic and outstanding will happen in my life and family, what are believing God for? Is it Healing, Deliverances, Financial break through, Restoration to glory, Good job placement, Remembrance, Promotions, Change of levels? Our God is able to do, all you need do is to believe and trust in Him.

I want you to know that though weeping may endure for a night, but your joy; my joy cometh in the morning. Somebody shout Alleluia!

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5

Christian! If thou art in a night of trial, think of the morrow; cheer up thy heart with the thought of the coming of thy Lord. Be patient, for

“Lo! He comes with clouds descending.”

Be patient! The Husbandman waits until He reaps His harvest. Be patient; for you know who has said, “Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be.” If you are never so wretched now, remember

“A few more rolling suns, at most,

Will land thee on fair Canaan’s coast.”

Thy head may be crowned with thorny troubles now, but it shall wear a starry crown ere long; thy hand may be filled with cares—it shall sweep the strings of the harp of heaven soon. Thy garments may be soiled with dust now; they shall be white by-and-by. Wait a little longer. Ah! how despicable our troubles and trials will seem when we look back upon them! Looking at them here in the prospect, they seem immense; but when we get to heaven we shall then

“With transporting joys recount,

The labours of our feet.”

Our trials will then seem light and momentary afflictions. Let us go on boldly; if the night be never so dark, the morning cometh, which is more than they can say who are shut up in the darkness of hell. Do you know what it is thus to live on the future—to live on expectation—to antedate heaven? Happy believer, to have so sure, so comforting a hope. It may be all dark now, but it will soon be light; it may be all trial now, but it will soon be all happiness.

What matters it though “weeping may endure for a night,” when “joy cometh in the morning?” And the Lord is able to prefect it in Jesus Name.

Beloved, do you know that instead of believing or feeling you are under a cause why not begin to call blessing  upon your life, family, career and ministry. When Jesus told the man that was born blind go wash yourself in pool of Siloam, and he returned cleans, what do you think that happened? When a Elisha sent a message to Naaman to go wash in the river Jordan, what is your mind telling you that happened? The reciptans of this blessing simply rode on the spoken Word. They believed God and it was so. What about You?

Recently, I lost a dear friend and I was greatly distress. While looking unto God for a word of comfort, He gave me the message below to comfort me and I want share it with you, peradventure you lost a dear one too and you refused to be comforted, am sure you will be blessed and be reassured with the message below:

“Afterward.” Hebrews 12:11

How happy are tried Christians, afterwards. No calm more deep than that which succeeds a storm. Who has not rejoiced in clear shinings after rain? Victorious banquets are for well-exercised soldiers. After killing the lion we eat the honey; after climbing the Hill Difficulty, we sit down in the arbour to rest; after traversing the Valley of Humiliation, after fighting with Apollyon, the shining one appears, with the healing branch from the tree of life.

Our sorrows, like the passing keels of the vessels upon the sea, leave a silver line of holy light behind them “afterwards.” It is peace, sweet, deep peace, which follows the horrible turmoil which once reigned in our tormented, guilty souls. See, then, the happy estate of a Christian! He has his best things last, and he therefore in this world receives his worst things first. But even his worst things are “afterward” good things, harsh ploughings yielding joyful harvests. Even now he grows rich by his losses, he rises by his falls, he lives by dying, and becomes full by being emptied; if, then, his grievous afflictions yield him so much peaceable fruit in this life, what shall be the full vintage of joy “afterwards” in heaven?

If his dark nights are as bright as the world’s days, what shall his days be? If even his starlight is more splendid than the sun, what must his sunlight be? If he can sing in a dungeon, how sweetly will he sing in heaven! If he can praise the Lord in the fires, how will he extol Him before the eternal throne! If evil be good to him now, what will the overflowing goodness of God be to him then?

Oh, blessed “afterward!” Who would not be a Christian? Who would not bear the present cross for the crown which cometh afterwards? But herein is work for patience, for the rest is not for today, nor the triumph for the present, but “afterward.” Wait, O soul, and let patience have her perfect work.

As we round off the month of our Divine Enthronement, I believing God that the work He started in us He will conclude and it will yield increase in the Name of Jesus. Amen!

See you in June by God’s grace, Amen! Have a wonderful weekend.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Help My Unbelief!

0

Indeed You are God and Father, there is none like Thee. Let glory and honour, adoration be ascribe unto You alone Who is Worthy of our praise.

Lord, we thank You for all divine protection all the night, we appreciate you we praise you, we worship you, we honour father. Accept our thanks and praise for forever, Amen!

Beloved, there are issues in our lives that when we have prayed, we look up to heaven for its showers, we hold on to Him, who has promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. In those times, you confess all the promises that you can remember believing God it is done.

However, there are situations in your life which you have been trusting, believing, confessing God and it seems as if there is no God in heaven all those promises are for those bible days and not us neither for our time.

Even when someone is testifying about the goodness of God it seems so magical or made up. You cannot believe it but you rather despise God or the person. It is such a time we are encouraging you to rather call on God to help your unbelief!

One thing certain is that whether we believe or trust in God, it does change Who God is neither will it stop Him from being God. The only thing we can pray and solicits for is that our faith be help, because your blasphemy does not and will never affect God. So come with me, let us receive help for times like this:

Immediately the father of the boy cried out, “I do believe! Help my unbelief.”—Mark 9:24

Faith does not come from ignorance. Faith is based on what we know.

Before we will trust others with something precious to us, we first try to find out if they are trustworthy. This father was asking that he might come to know God in such a dimension that he could trust Him to cure his son.

His son had been possessed by an evil spirit since early childhood. The father did not know Jesus well, but he had heard and seen enough to convince him that if there was any hope for his son, it lay with Jesus. In desperation he cried out to Jesus for help. Jesus’ response was to heal his son. The desperate father had correctly gone to Jesus with his problem even though he was struggling with his faith.

When you are struggling to believe, that is not the time to avoid Christ or to be ashamed of your struggle. You will never increase your faith by not going to Jesus! Rather, Jesus wants to help you with your belief. He can not only meet your need, but He will also give you faith to trust Him to provide for you.

If you are struggling to believe that God can take care of your need, it is because you don’t know Him as He wants you to. Go to Him and allow Him to convince you of His ability to meet every need you will ever face.

Are you still here with me, it is not a period to avoid Christ, rather it is a period for absolute surrender to Him for help. Don’t forget all power belongs to Him, your moment of struggle is not a period to stand far off from Christ or fellow Him from afar as did most of His disciple in the bible time but a period to stay close or glued to Him. The next message will strengthen you further my beloved:

“All that believe are justified.” Acts 13:39

The believer in Christ receives a present justification. Faith does not produce this fruit by-and-by, but now. So far as justification is the result of faith, it is given to the soul in the moment when it closes with Christ, and accepts Him as its all in all. Are they who stand before the throne of God justified now?—so are we, as truly and as clearly justified as they who walk in white and sing melodious praises to celestial harps.

The thief upon the cross was justified the moment that he turned the eye of faith to Jesus; and Paul, the aged, after years of service, was not more justified than was the thief with no service at all. We are today accepted in the Beloved, today absolved from sin, today acquitted at the bar of God. Oh! soul-transporting thought! There are some clusters of Eshcol’s vine which we shall not be able to gather till we enter heaven; but this is a bough which runneth over the wall. This is not as the corn of the land, which we can never eat till we cross the Jordan; but this is part of the manna in the wilderness, a portion of our daily nutriment with which God supplies us in our journeying to and fro.

We are now—even now pardoned; even now are our sins put away; even now we stand in the sight of God accepted, as though we had never been guilty. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” There is not a sin in the Book of God, even now, against one of His people. Who dareth to lay anything to their charge? There is neither speck, nor spot, nor wrinkle, nor any such thing remaining upon any one believer in the matter of justification in the sight of the Judge of all the earth.

Let present privilege awaken us to present duty, and now, while life lasts, let us spend and be spent for our sweet Lord Jesus.

Beloved, can you see that in your salvation package is also justification which sustains your faith. If I may ask you are you born again? Have you received Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour? The reason for the above question is that you receive inheritance by sonship and not by association. If you are yet to be received as kingdom’s children, click here now to do so; so that you will part take of the kingdom blessings. And if you have received Christ Him, please keep trusting and believing Him because he will surly make your enemies to be at your footstool.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Who is like unto Thee O Lord! I have looked round the whole universe there is none like You. There is no one like Thee Lord, like You Jesus. Your Name is Higher than any other name! Immortal, Invisible God only Wise. Who is greater than Jehovah Lord Divine? There is no one greater than Jehovah Lord Divine.

Father, receive all glory Lord, receive all glory Lord, receive all glory Lord Alleluia Amen.

Beloved, do you know the great physician? Who is He, who all diseases and sicknesses bow at His presence? Who at His command, principalities and powers flees? Can you tell me at whose command even the dead rise?

There is only one Man and one Name, whose Name shakes the mountain and the sea. His Name is Jesus!!!. At the mention of His Name, great and unimaginable things happens. Praise Thy Name of Jesus! Alleluia!

Come let us go to the physician prayerfully today and receive our healing, be restored and be made whole. Come my beloved and be blessed:

“Great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.” Matthew 12:15

What a mass of hideous sickness must have thrust itself under the eye of Jesus! Yet we read not that He was disgusted, but patiently waited on every case. What a singular variety of evils must have met at His feet! What sickening ulcers and putrefying sores! Yet He was ready for every new shape of the monster evil, and was victor over it in every form.

Let the arrow fly from what quarter it might, He quenched its fiery power. The heat of fever, or the cold of dropsy; the lethargy of palsy, or the rage of madness; the filth of leprosy, or the darkness of ophthalmia—all knew the power of His word, and fled at His command. In every corner of the field He was triumphant over evil, and received the homage of delivered captives. He came, He saw, He conquered everywhere.

It is even so this day. Whatever my own case may be, the beloved Physician can heal me; and whatever may be the state of others whom I may remember at this moment in prayer, I may have hope in Jesus that He will be able to heal them of their sins. My child, my friend, my dearest one, I can have hope for each, for all, when I remember the healing power of my Lord; and on my own account, however severe my struggle with sins and infirmities, I may yet be of good cheer. He who on earth walked the hospitals, still dispenses His grace, and works wonders among the sons of men: let me go to Him at once in right earnest.

Let me praise Him, this day, as I remember how He wrought His spiritual cures, which bring Him most renown. It was by taking upon Himself our sicknesses. “By His stripes we are healed.” The Church on earth is full of souls healed by our beloved Physician; and the inhabitants of heaven itself confess that “He healed them all.” Come, then, my soul, publish abroad the virtue of His grace, and let it be “to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign which shall not be cut off.” Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!

Beloved, are you keying in into this vision, that whatever be your case, Jesus the Great Physician is able to make you whole. Praise God! Alleluia! Like the days of old, He is still able to do it now! Just believe that at His command, great and mighty things happens!

“Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” John 5:8

Like many others, the impotent man had been waiting for a wonder to be wrought, and a sign to be given. Wearily did he watch the  pool, but no angel came, or came not for him; yet, thinking it to be his only chance, he waited still, and knew not that there was One near him whose word could heal him in a moment.

Many are in the same plight: they are waiting for some singular emotion, remarkable impression, or celestial vision; they wait in vain and watch for nought. Even supposing that, in a few cases, remarkable signs are seen, yet these are rare, and no man has a right to look for them in his own case; no man especially who feels his impotency to avail himself of the moving of the water even if it came.

It is a very sad reflection that tens of thousands are now waiting in the use of means, and ordinances, and vows, and resolutions, and have so waited time out of mind, in vain, utterly in vain. Meanwhile these poor souls forget the present Saviour, who bids them look unto Him and be saved. He could heal them at once, but they prefer to wait for an angel and a wonder. To trust Him is the sure way to every blessing, and He is worthy of the most implicit confidence; but unbelief makes them prefer the cold porches of Bethesda to the warm bosom of His love.

O that the Lord may turn His eye upon the multitudes who are in this case to-day; may He forgive the slights which they put upon His divine power, and call them by that sweet constraining voice, to rise from the bed of despair, and in the energy of faith take up their bed and walk.

O Lord, hear our prayer for all such at this calm hour of sunset, and ere the day breaketh may they look and live.

Peradventure, you are not physical ill, but your soul is being weigh down by sins and iniquities, come and be cleanse by the blood of Jesus and be made whole! Do not let today pass-you-by. Click here NOW!

Courteous reader, is there anything in this portion for you?

“Thou art my portion, O Lord.”

May 27

Almighty King of glory, hallow be Thy Name. Let Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. Blessed Redeemer, we worship You, we bless Your Holy Name, we honoured You forever and ever in Jesus Name.

Eternal Rock of Ages, we bow before Your Throne of mercy. Be Thou magnified, let all our praises and worship be ascribed unto You Alone Who is Worthy of our praise. Father, You are worthy to be glorified, receive our worship unto You in Jesus.

Beloved, in all your possession, do you have our Lord Jesus as your portion? Some people glory in their gettings or possessions without Christ. Having witness many deaths of beloved ones recently, one wonder why the killings and maim of one another just to get an earthly possession which you must leave behind when you depart this earth. Why are we not given top priorities to the things of God being the only thing that will be with us till eternity?

Child of God, do you know that in that hour of agony or death, your gold or silver will be no comfort to you but sources of worries and anxieties but if you have Jesus, you will have a place of solace and succor? This is one of the hard sayings of  the bible but very important. It is good for us to remind ourselves the truth of why we sojourn here on earth. More from the message:

“Thou art my portion, O Lord.” Psalm 119:57

Look at thy possessions, O believer, and compare thy portion with the lot of thy fellowmen. Some of them have their portion in the field; they are rich, and their harvests yield them a golden increase; but what are harvests compared with thy God, who is the God of harvests? What are bursting granaries compared with Him, who is the Husbandman, and feeds thee with the bread of heaven?

Some have their portion in the city; their wealth is abundant, and flows to them in constant streams, until they become a very reservoir of gold; but what is gold compared with thy God? Thou couldst not live on it; thy spiritual life could not be sustained by it. Put it on a troubled conscience, and could it allay its pangs? Apply it to a desponding heart, and see if it could stay a solitary groan, or give one grief the less? But thou hast God, and in Him thou hast more than gold or riches ever could buy.

Some have their portion in that which most men love—applause and fame; but ask thyself, is not thy God more to thee than that? What if a myriad clarions should be loud in thine applause, would this prepare thee to pass the Jordan, or cheer thee in prospect of judgment? No, there are griefs in life which wealth cannot alleviate; and there is the deep need of a dying hour, for which no riches can provide.

But when thou hast God for thy portion, thou hast more than all else put together. In Him every want is met, whether in life or in death. With God for thy portion thou art rich indeed, for He will supply thy need, comfort thy heart, assuage thy grief, guide thy steps, be with thee in the dark valley, and then take thee home, to enjoy Him as thy portion for ever. “I have enough,” said Esau; this is the best thing a worldly man can say, but Jacob replies, “I have all things,” which is a note too high for carnal minds.

Beloved, do you have all things including Jesus or you just have enough? Give an answer to this question by carrying out self – examination. If you still cannot give a satisfactory and definite answer to the above question, come along with me to have more clue:

“We dwell in Him.” 1John 4:13

Do you want a house for your soul? Do you ask, “What is the purchase?” It is something less than proud human nature will like to give. It is without money and without price. Ah! you would like to pay a respectable rent! You would love to do something to win Christ? Then you cannot have the house, for it is “without price.” Will you take my Master’s house on a lease for all eternity, with nothing to pay for it, nothing but the ground-rent of loving and serving Him for ever?

Will you take Jesus and “dwell in Him?” See, this house is furnished with all you want, it is filled with riches more than you will spend as long as you live. Here you can have intimate communion with Christ and feast on His love; here are tables well-stored with food for you to live on for ever; in it, when weary, you can find rest with Jesus; and from it you can look out and see heaven itself.

Will you have the house? Ah! if you are houseless, you will say, “I should like to have the house; but may I have it?” Yes; there is the key—the key is, “Come to Jesus.” “But,” you say, “I am too shabby for such a house.” Never mind; there are garments inside. If you feel guilty and condemned, come; and though the house is too good for you, Christ will make you good enough for the house by-and-by. He will wash you and cleanse you, and you will yet be able to sing, “We dwell in Him.” Believer: thrice happy art thou to have such a dwelling-place!

Greatly privileged thou art, for thou hast a “strong habitation” in which thou art ever safe. And “dwelling in Him,” thou hast not only a perfect and secure house, but an everlasting one. When this world shall have melted like a dream, our house shall live, and stand more imperishable than marble, more solid than granite, self-existent as God, for it is God Himself—”We dwell in Him.”

Will you be able to say it, “I dwell in Him”? Cross examine yourself again and retrace your step if need be. Make your abode in the Jesus your Saviour. Put all your trust in Him and you will never be disappointed here on earth and great beyond.

Beloved, secure your abode in Christ now while it is still day before it becomes dark and too late for you. Click here to accept Christ  NOW!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Joint heirs with Christ.”

Songs

We are heirs of the Father,

We are jointed with the Son,

We are children of the kingdom,

We are family, we are one.

Father, we thank You for this great privilege to be jointed heirs with Your Son in Your abode. What an honour that You stoop down to be called Son of man even when You are the Creator. We thank You, we blessed Your Holy Name. We honour You forever more. Amen!

Beloved, we are in final lap of this great month, our month of “Divine Enthronement” I hope you are having fun in the Lord. Joy is not is absent of trouble or sorrow but the understanding that God even in that misfortune or mishap or ugly situation is in charge.

I once complained to brother about the behavior and attitude of some people who supposed to know better but choose not that I will not be praying alone with them (this happened years back). His answer was this, “if you are praying with them and things are like this imagine what will happen when you stop to pray”. It was a food for thought. I made up my mind to put my focus in God than man lest I fall and dishonor God.

Today, the Lord is inviting you again to the banqueting table where His only begotten Son is sitting to be joint heir with Him. Are you ready or do you have an excuse like those invited to the marriage feast.

“Joint heirs with Christ.” Romans 8:17

The boundless realms of His Father’s universe are Christ’s by prescriptive right. As “heir of all things,” He is the sole proprietor of the vast creation of God, and He has admitted us to claim the whole as ours, by virtue of that deed of joint-heir-ship which the Lord hath ratified with His chosen people. The golden streets of paradise, the pearly gates, the river of life, the transcendent bliss, and the unutterable glory, are, by our blessed Lord, made over to us for our everlasting possession.

All that He has He shares with His people. The crown royal He has placed upon the head of His Church, appointing her a kingdom, and calling her sons a royal priesthood, a generation of priests and kings. He uncrowned Himself that we might have a coronation of glory; He would not sit upon His own throne until He had procured a place upon it for all who overcome by His blood. Crown the head and the whole body shares the honour.

Behold here the reward of every Christian conqueror! Christ’s throne, crown, sceptre, palace, treasure, robes, heritage, are yours. Far superior to the jealousy, selfishness, and greed, which admit of no participation of their advantages, Christ deems His happiness completed by His people sharing it. “The glory which thou gavest me have I given them.” “These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”

The smiles of His Father are all the sweeter to Him, because His people share them. The honours of His kingdom are more pleasing, because His people appear with Him in glory. More valuable to Him are His conquests, since they have taught His people to overcome. He delights in His throne, because on it there is a place for them. He rejoices in His royal robes, since over them His skirts are spread. He delights the more in His joy, because He calls them to enter into it.

Again are you ready to enter into the joy which He had prepared for you? In the joy of the Lord will He manifest Himself to you. Then will you know and believe that He is God and is able to do all things:

“And will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

The Lord Jesus gives special revelations of Himself to His people. Even if Scripture did not declare this, there are many of the children of God who could testify the truth of it from their own experience. They have had manifestations of their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in a peculiar manner, such as no mere reading or hearing could afford.

In the biographies of eminent saints, you will find many instances recorded in which Jesus has been pleased, in a very special manner to speak to their souls, and to unfold the wonders of His person; yea, so have their souls been steeped in happiness that they have thought themselves to be in heaven, whereas they were not there, though they were well nigh on the threshold of it—for when Jesus manifests Himself to His people, it is heaven on earth; it is paradise in embryo; it is bliss begun.

Especial manifestations of Christ exercise a holy influence on the believer’s heart. One effect will be humility. If a man says, “I have had such-and-such spiritual communications, I am a great man,” he has never had any communion with Jesus at all; for “God hath respect unto the lowly: but the proud He knoweth afar off.” He does not need to come near them to know them, and will never give them any visits of love. Another effect will be happiness; for in God’s presence there are pleasures for evermore.

Holiness will be sure to follow. A man who has no holiness has never had this manifestation. Some men profess a great deal; but we must not believe any one unless we see that his deeds answer to what he says. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked.” He will not bestow His favours upon the wicked: for while He will not cast away a perfect man, neither will He respect an evil doer.

Thus there will be three effects of nearness to Jesus—humility, happiness, and holiness. May God give them to thee, Christian!

Beloved, covet these virtues and your life will never be the same, like the early Christian was called Christian in Antioch so will those who come across you will praise your father who is at in heaven.

A blessed week ahead, whatsoever you are believing God before the end of this month, I pray that the good Lord will deliver it to you in Jesus Name. Amen!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“In Him dwelleth all the fulness…complete in Him.”

Blessed Redeemer, let all glory and honour be ascribe unto You. For You are God and King of kings. You are Lord! You are Lord of lords, at the mention of Your Name, every kneel shall bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord. We thank You, we praise You, we worship Your Holy Name forever and ever Amen.

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, we beseeched Thee today to come into our heart, be our Lord and Saviour, help us to love as You want us to love and to be what want us to become. We humble ourselves before You Lord, let Your Name alone be praised and worshiped forever more Amen.

Come and dwell among us and let Your fullness be found in me and I shall be complete in You O! Lord of mercy:

“In Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him.” Colossians 2:9,10

All the attributes of Christ, as God and man, are at our disposal. All the fulness of the Godhead, whatever that marvellous term may comprehend, is ours to make us complete. He cannot endow us with the attributes of Deity; but He has done all that can be done, for He has made even His divine power and Godhead subservient to our salvation. His omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, immutability and infallibility, are all combined for our defence.

Arise, believer, and behold the Lord Jesus yoking the whole of His divine Godhead to the chariot of salvation! How vast His grace, how firm His faithfulness, how unswerving His immutability, how infinite His power, how limitless His knowledge! All these are by the Lord Jesus made the pillars of the temple of salvation; and all, without diminution of their infinity, are covenanted to us as our perpetual inheritance.

The fathomless love of the Saviour’s heart is every drop of it ours; every sinew in the arm of might, every jewel in the crown of majesty, the immensity of divine knowledge, and the sternness of divine justice, all are ours, and shall be employed for us. The whole of Christ, in His adorable character as the Son of God, is by Himself made over to us most richly to enjoy. His wisdom is our direction, His knowledge our instruction, His power our protection, His justice our surety, His love our comfort, His mercy our solace, and His immutability our trust.

He makes no reserve, but opens the recesses of the Mount of God and bids us dig in its mines for the hidden treasures. “All, all, all are yours,” saith He, “be ye satisfied with favour and full of the goodness of the Lord.” Oh! how sweet thus to behold Jesus, and to call upon Him with the certain confidence that in seeking the interposition of His love or power, we are but asking for that which He has already faithfully promised.

Amen! Amen!! Amen!!! What more do you want to hear? He is so loving and caring that all that concerns us also concerns Him. He draw us to Himself:

“I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love.” Hosea 11:4

Our heavenly Father often draws us with the cords of love; but ah! how backward we are to run towards Him! How slowly do we respond to His gentle impulses! He draws us to exercise a more simple faith in Him; but we have not yet attained to Abraham’s confidence; we do not leave our worldly cares with God, but, like Martha, we cumber ourselves with much serving.

Our meagre faith brings leanness into our souls; we do not open our mouths wide, though God has promised to fill them. Does He not this evening draw us to trust Him? Can we not hear Him say, “Come, My child, and trust Me. The veil is rent; enter into My presence, and approach boldly to the throne of My grace. I am worthy of thy fullest confidence, cast thy cares on Me. Shake thyself from the dust of thy cares, and put on thy beautiful garments of joy.” But, alas! though called with tones of love to the blessed exercise of this comforting grace, we will not come.

At another time He draws us to closer communion with Himself. We have been sitting on the doorstep of God’s house, and He bids us advance into the banqueting hall and sup with Him, but we decline the honour. There are secret rooms not yet opened to us; Jesus invites us to enter them, but we hold back. Shame on our cold hearts! We are but poor lovers of our sweet Lord Jesus, not fit to be His servants, much less to be His brides, and yet He hath exalted us to be bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh, married to Him by a glorious marriage-covenant.

Herein is love! But it is love which takes no denial. If we obey not the gentle drawings of His love, He will send affliction to drive us into closer intimacy with Himself. Have us nearer He will. What foolish children we are to refuse those bands of love, and so bring upon our backs that scourge of small cords, which Jesus knows how to use!

Am sure you will want scourge on your back dearly beloved? Stay close to Him and abide in Him also that you joy will be full.

Have a wonderful weekend ahead. Till we meet again on Monday by God’s grace stay blessed.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
