Thank Thanks Lord, I give You thanks for all You have done in my life, we are so good, and our soul has found rest O! God we give You thanks.// I will lift up my voice, I will joyfully sing, not for what He has done but for Who You are. You are song that I sing, melody in voice, the reason I sing is to praise You Lord. He reigns, Jesus reigns, He reigns, for ever more.

Our Father in heaven O God, we thank You for Who are, thank You for the gift of life and showers of blessings this morning to the glory of Your Name. Thank You Father for making everything beautiful at your own time. Glory be to Your Name. You are God and Your mercies is forever alleluia!

Beloved, how are doing? Hope great. Praise God! Wahoo! There shall be showers of blessings a song writer wrote, and today I can say indeed the showers is here. Someone shout alleluia!!!

When I was giving a thought to the mercies of God in our life, the Word of God has it that He give rain for the seed and bread to His people Isa 30:23. Zec 10:1. Even the sun shine on every living things. Beloved how generous is our God and just is He.

The topic we have for today has a special place in my heart. Because of very many experiences I am having as a result this ministry work. Some interesting while some leaves me hoping it will be better that what am seeing.

But in all of it, if pleases God and He allows it, all well and good. The truth is that some time obeying God may seem illogical and prove to be costly. I have seen this happens severally and the only way out of it is to hand it back to Him because He judges righteously and will pay back for every injustices we encounter as a result of our obeying Him.

Our foe, Satan has a way of trying to frustrate every effort and if you are careful you will backslide in your Christian walk. Has that been your experience also dear reader, I have good news for you, I am here to encourage you with this powerful ministration as they Lord laid it in my heart to do today. Learn not to worry, but lean on God, He will see you through. He will also comfort you.

Every point you have been mocked or frustrated, the Lord is arresting and giving you victory all the way in Jesus Name.

One of the author of the book I share with you have a testimony to share about the goodness of God while in the ministry, he also had a story of a friend who was treated unjustly by His company on severance package.

I believe that today’s ministration will also serve as an encouragement to young ministers that will be privilege to read this material.

Always know that “though it may seems illogical and prove to be costly in obeying God,” we will do not nothing short of it.

Why! Because in God there is always a hope and future for us. So don’t give up. He is a Just God and He will do what is right and just at the end. Praise God!

Obeying God May Seem Illogical And Prove To Be Costly

“I’m going to sue that company into the 4th Century! I’m taking them to court for giving me one month’s severance instead of the six we agreed upon in the contract!”

So said Sam in his fiery reaction to the mind games his boss had been imposing on him in order to force his resignation. As I listened, I could feel the hair rising on the back of my neck. Managing to keep my composure, I suggested we look at a few passages of Scripture:

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do thatBut love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.” (Luke 6:27b-33, 35) (See Romans 12:18-21)

Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harshChrist suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth. When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, HE ENTRUSTED HIMSELF TO HIM WHO JUDGES JUSTLY.” (1 Peter 2:18, 21b-23)

Later, after Sam and his wife had carefully analyzed the above passages, they decided to leave the company graciously, and accept whatever compensation package the management decided upon. What surprised them was the strong opposition they received from “Christian” relatives who insisted they go to court and demand their “rights”.

Could the key to how we respond to injustices be determined by our understanding of that little phrase, “HE ENTRUSTED HIMSELF TO HIM WHO JUDGES JUSTLY”? Isn’t it only as we see God as the One with the final word that we are able to obey Biblical imperatives that may seem to defy human logic?

It is important for us to understand that at some point God will equalize the books for the injustices visited upon us, and that He will reward us for our uncompromising obedience to His Word, difficult as that obedience may appear at the time. (2 Thessalonians 1:6; Acts 17:31; Revelation 16:5, 6; Matthew 25:34; 1 Peter 1:4)

QUESTIONS: Have you settled it in your heart that you will obey Christ and His teachings, whether they “makes sense” or not? Are you willing to pay the price of that obedience, whatever the cost?

If that is your resolve, then let’s get going:

Yes! We Do Have Hope And A Future!

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,‘” declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.‘” (Jeremiah 29:11)

I turned 60 years old the other day. And I am surprised! I thought by this age I would be shot. Angry. Out of breath. Cynical. Brittle. Burned out. Over the hill. A “Busted Flushas my Father would say.

Here are two good reasons why it does not need to turn out that way:

  1. GOD CAN BE TRUSTED!

In 1951, at age 15 I stumbled forward in a Billy Graham Crusade and genuinely met Jesus Christ. Over the next several years God brought men into my life who discipled me. As my understanding developed, I set out to believe and obey the Word of God without equivocation.

As I began to grasp God’s eternal purposes, I chose to surrender my life to Him without reservation – To give my life away in serving others for the Gospel. That is not to say that I was always victorious, but I sincerely sought to grow in that direction.

I can testify from 45 years of experience with God that Joshua 21:45 is true!

Not one of all the Lords good promises to the house of Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.

  1. WHAT YOU SOW, YOU REAP!

What goes up, must come down. “A man reaps what he sows.” (Galatians 6:7)

In those early years I chose to deal with my hang-ups; with the enslaving sins, the fears, and the bitterness. I brought these needs to Christ, claimed His promises, and appropriated His grace and victory.

So here I am at age 60 experiencing His joy and freedom in great measure. No “Busted Flush” here! Rather, I am encountering the truth of Psalm 18:19:

He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because he delighted in me.

What a joy! What an adventure! What hope and a future!

The good news is that this hope and future is available to anyone who chooses to live it His way!

Is someone blessed with these ministration? The truth is that so many are grappling with some many challenges in life  ranging from martial, family, career, belief and many more that obeying God does not look ridiculous but it also makes you look  foolish to the on lookers. But thank God to the Word of God.

Thank God to Jesus our Model and example to follow, it will be joy and gladness at the end if we don’t give up because our God is a righteous God! Praise God!

Remember, God is the author and finisher of every life. Also we are not serving God as duty, or compulsion but with joy and gladness so that our joy will be full and our reward will come in the due season. Don’t forget also that Heaven is real! That is our final abode. Praise God!

Am blessed, I hope you are also.

Remain ever bless in the Lord
