Beloveth, how was your weekend? Hope pleasant. Praise God. Yes, our God is good! all the time. Did you take out time to seek God based on Friday ministration? Beloved, your eyes of understanding need to be open so that you will see as God do see. Your ears needs to be open to hear the voice of your Shepherd else you tag alone a false teacher which the bible warned us against.

Beloved, when we desire to have Divine encounter what are those things that readily comes to your mind as a child of God? I know we are going to have diverse answers to numerous to write down, but by the grace of God, the Spirit of God will take us on and bring as many solutions as possible to help us. Everybody’s must have a Word that will settle him/her forever. The Holy Spirit must mention a Word  will comfort everyone because He knows the mind of men. Praise God.

Today, quickly we will consider encountering God through   the “new birth.” What is new birth, someone wants to know? New birth or regeneration as some may call it is being born-again. 2Cor 5:17 gives a clear answer to the meaning of new birth. Therefore if any man be in Christ Jesus, e is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Why new birth. This became necessary as Christ told Nicodemus that except a man be born again he shall not enter into the kingdom of God.  Therefore, new birth is necessary for any man/woman who wants to enter into the kingdom of God.

What is the cost of implication of the new birth? Beloved, it may interest you to know that it is absolutely free. At no cost your sins are wipe away. At no cost you enter into the family of God. At no cost beloved, your become a son/daughter of the Most High God. Wow! I love this.

How do we know if one is born –again? we believe that the cane which take place in the heart and life at conversion is a very real one; that the sinner is ten born again in such a glorious and transforming manner that old things are passed away and all things are become new; insomuch that the tins once most desired are now abhorred. While the things once abhorred are now held most sacred and dear; and that now having imputed to him that righteous of the Redeemer and having received of the Spirit of Christ. New desires, new aspirations, new interests and new preparation on life, time and eternity, fills the blood. Washed heart so that his desire is now to openly confess and serve the Master, seeking ever those things which are above.

There are several facts about the new birth that need to be understood. Will take them in subsequent teaching before the month run out.

Today we are going to have an encounter with God through “salvation,” without which you cannot be called a child of God. It is a mysterious encounter. It is unexplainable and it is absolutely free.

It is important to note that there is nothing like “once saved; forever saved.” This means that when you get born again, you must keep at working out your salvation as long as you are in this part of eternity.

Another worthy saying is that “you are save to serve.”  You are going to see many who are saved in the bible times are on the o for the Lord, may be that will help you to take a strong decision for Christ. To be among those who are the herald    of good news.

As we soon read from the text below you will discover that new birth is not of will power but can only be possible by the power of God. And as we have discussed earlier in one of the February episode on one get save expect the Father draws him/her.

This teaching was to encourage most of us who have some souls they wants to bring to the kingdom but it not working out as fast as they think it should. All you need to do is pray that God should draw them to Himself.

So let’s us once again consider what salvation is all about and if you are yet to get born again, endeavour to accept Jesus Christ now because now is the acceptable time (2Cor 6:2), tomorrow may be too late for this decision so I encourage you to click here now before you sign out:

“Salvation is of the Lord.” Jonah 2:9

Salvation is the work of God. It is He alone who quickens the soul “dead in trespasses and sins,” and it is He also who maintains the soul in its spiritual life. He is both “Alpha and Omega.” “Salvation is of the Lord.” If I am prayerful, God makes me prayerful; if I have graces, they are God’s gifts to me; if I hold on in a consistent life, it is because He upholds me with His hand.

I do nothing whatever towards my own preservation, except what God Himself first does in me. Whatever I have, all my goodness is of the Lord alone. Wherein I sin, that is my own; but wherein I act rightly, that is of God, wholly and completely. If I have repulsed a spiritual enemy, the Lord’s strength nerved my arm. Do I live before men a consecrated life? It is not I, but Christ who liveth in me.

Am I sanctified? I did not cleanse myself: God’s Holy Spirit sanctifies me. Am I weaned from the world? I am weaned by God’s chastisements sanctified to my good. Do I grow in knowledge? The great Instructor teaches me. All my jewels were fashioned by heavenly art. I find in God all that I want; but I find in myself nothing but sin and misery. “He only is my rock and my salvation.”

Do I feed on the Word? That Word would be no food for me unless the Lord made it food for my soul, and helped me to feed upon it. Do I live on the manna which comes down from heaven? What is that manna but Jesus Christ himself incarnate, whose body and whose blood I eat and drink?

Am I continually receiving fresh increase of strength? Where do I gather my might? My help cometh from heaven’s hills: without Jesus I can do nothing. As a branch cannot bring forth fruit except it abide in the vine, no more can I, except I abide in Him. What Jonah learned in the great deep, let me learn this morning in my closet: “Salvation is of the Lord.”

Therefore, we that saved should be diligent in bring souls to God as empowered us by the great commission because the days are evil (Eph 5:16). Do not sleep like others do.

“Behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague.” Leviticus 13:13

Strange enough this regulation appears, yet there was wisdom in it, for the throwing out of the disease proved that the constitution was sound. This evening it may be well for us to see the typical teaching of so singular a rule. We, too, are lepers, and may read the law of the leper as applicable to ourselves.

When a man sees himself to be altogether lost and ruined, covered all over with the defilement of sin, and in no part free from pollution; when he disclaims all righteousness of his own, and pleads guilty before the Lord, then he is clean through the blood of Jesus, and the grace of God. Hidden, unfelt, unconfessed iniquity is the true leprosy; but when sin is seen and felt, it has received its deathblow, and the Lord looks with eyes of mercy upon the soul afflicted with it.

Nothing is more deadly than self-righteousness, or more hopeful than contrition. We must confess that we are “nothing else but sin,” for no confession short of this will be the whole truth; and if the Holy Spirit be at work with us, convincing us of sin, there will be no difficulty about making such an acknowledgment—it will spring spontaneously from our lips.

What comfort does the text afford to truly awakened sinners: the very circumstance which so grievously discouraged them is here turned into a sign and symptom of a hopeful state! Stripping comes before clothing; digging out the foundation is the first thing in building—and a thorough sense of sin is one of the earliest works of grace in the heart. O thou poor leprous sinner, utterly destitute of a sound spot, take heart from the text, and come as thou art to Jesus—

“For let our debts be what they may, however great or small,

As soon as we have nought to pay, our Lord forgives us all.

‘Tis perfect poverty alone that sets the soul at large:

While we can call one mite our own, we have no full discharge.”

Beloved, are you save, please old on to your salvation. If you are yet to be saved please now is the time.

This week is declared blessed in Jesus Name. Go in the strength of the new birth and conquer. See you at the end of the week with your testimonies.   Use this material to win a soul this week.

Remember that he that winneth a soul is wise and I believe you are.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
