Beloved, before the month goes far, we decide to discuss and take a look the God whom we call upon. The God you and I stand up daily to worship, the God Who we are trusting and believing every Spoken Written Word of His. We want to know Him better so that you and I will know how to position ourselves to benefit from every promise of God. Praise the Lord!
When you know the Mightiness of God, you will not be shaken by the events around you whatever be it. As human we can be disappointed or feel pain about the situations/challenges that are not palatable but once you remember Who is behind you or with you, it is enough to straighten you (1Jn 4:14).
We are going to start the series by knowing who God is. In the beginning we see God in creation, why? God has the best answer, He want us to see Him in His creative nature and what message do you get from that? Why do you think children obey and trust their parents mostly in the early part of their life?
Because they see you being able to do all things, that is why a child will make demand from his parents simple because another child has something he too desire bought by his parent irrespective of their financial statue. However, over time the reality of life struck and they know why they have to stay home because daddy was unable to pay school fees. They also know why they live in certain places and houses why the other child lives in certain houses and places too.
We have this very nature of growing child, at a point in our life, we trusted God for everything and a time came we want to be independent, we want to have our own way, our own plan aside the plan of God. We exhibit this character and at a point also in life, the unexpected happen, we hit the rock or our boat hits the storms of life then we start grasping for breathe, we start looking for help from God. But that was not God’s intention forces from the beginning but many are lured away by the forces of satan and satan himself. We went wrong ways, looking for God in wrong places.
But not so with God, our God is a good God, our God is an Able God, He is Almighty, All Powerful, Who can back up His Word and that of servants. Praise the Lord!!!!!!

The Great Creator
Yahweh … who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it.—Isaiah 42:5
The Bible never argues that there is a God; everywhere it assumes and asserts the fact. Majestically the opening verse of Scripture says: “In the beginning God …” Its paramount concern is not to persuade us that God is but to tell us who God is and what He does. This is why the first thing we see Him do in the Scriptures is to act creatively, to show His might and omnipotence.
I love the story about a group of researchers who set out to discover what really happened when the earth was created. They spent months gathering information and feeding data into a computer. Finally they hit the print-out key and waited. Soon a message appeared with these words: “See Genesis 1:1.”
Many think the only reference to God’s creative act is the one that appears in the first two chapters of Genesis, but this truth is woven inextricably into the very texture of both the Old and New Testaments. One example of this is found in our text for today. We cannot have a right conception of God or contemplate Him correctly unless we think of Him as being all-powerful. He who cannot do what He wills and pleases cannot be God. As God has a will to do good, so He has the necessary power to execute that will. Who can look upward to the midnight sky, behold its wonders, and not exclaim: “Of what were these mighty orbs formed?” A great and powerful God brought them into being simply by saying: “Let them be.” This kind of God can have my heart anytime.
Prayer
Father, I sense that the more enlightened my understanding, the more my soul responds to that enlightenment with thanksgiving, adoration, and praise. Enlighten me still more, dear Father. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Do you believe that God is All-Powerful? He does everything that pleases Him, He created us for His own pleasure and we are to glorify His Holy Name. I believe someone is blessed, I believe someone is lifted, I believe someone is comforted.
Our God, our Father on Whose Word we stand is more than we can ever think or ever imagine. So we are not hoping or trusting in God that cannot move, talk, or speak but we are believing and trusting in a God Who can do all things with a spoken Word. Praise the Lord!
Is the God you believe in? that same God will intervene in your situation and make all things right. Just watch out! After this series you will never be anxious about anything, because you will have a fuller understanding of Who God is and what He is able to do. Satan will no longer terrorize you, you will stand firm on the Word/ Promises of God and you will testify to the glory of God in Jesus Name (Rev 12:11). On this note, we declare this week open and by the grace of God we will return at the end with testimonies in Jesus Name.
