Dearly beloved, wow! Is Friday, another opportunity to learn again in practical terms our Christian faith, glory be to Jesus. The Word of God enjoined us not to be forgetful hearers, we must not be hearers of the Word of God alone but also a doer of it, else we will be like that man who beholding his natural face in a glass: and forget what he look like once he off goes away (Jas 1:22-25). Therefore, we also always look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and when we do what it says and don’t forget what we heard, then God will bless us for doing it (Jas 1 :25). This is one of our foundation objectives as a ministry. May God help us to live out whatsoever we are thought by His divine grace upon our lives in Jesus Name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has been an interesting moment in the God’s presence this week, and I believe we learnt one or two things that will help our Christian race if we resolved in doing it as we have been told, may the blessing that follows obedience be our portion, Praise the Lord!
That brings us to the lesson of today – The Power of Truth. There is power in being truthful. By the grace of God, we are going to gain more insight on this all important topic as we go through the ministration below. Before then, if you are asked to give a definition of “Truth” what will be your answer?
In my own definition of “truth”, I will summarize it by saying that “truth is when you state that something is categorically black or white, it can never be black and white. Truth when put any facets of life it stand out and cannot be change or bend. Truth when observed under any circumstances is accurate and must always be in conformity to the set down rules and regulations or law. Truth is always an obvious fact, when is subject to a control is sustains it quality and is generally believed, truth in another word is “honesty.”
So can you give me your version of “truth” if you to speak on this topic or on the subject – “Truth.” Praise the Lord.

The Power of Truth
I have chosen the way of truth; I have set Your ordinances before me.—Psalm 119:30
We cannot do battle with the Devil until we have girded our waists with truth. Girding the waist was always a symbol of readiness to fight. That is why this comes first. The officers in the Roman army wore short skirts, very much like a Scottish kilt. Over this they had a cloak or tunic which was secured at the waist with a girdle. When they were about to enter battle, they would tuck the tunic up under the girdle so as to leave their legs unencumbered for the fight.
What does Paul’s phrase, “with truth like a belt around your waist,” really mean? What significance does it have for us today? The word “truth” can be looked at in two ways: one, objective truth, as it is to be found in Jesus Christ, and two, subjective truth as it is to be found in the qualities of honesty and sincerity. The Puritan, William Gurnall, points out that whether the word implies truth of doctrine or truth of heart, one kind of truth will not do without the other.
I believe that in Ephesians 6, Paul is emphasizing subjective truth—truth that resides in the inner being. When we are deceitful or hypocritical, or when we resort to intrigue and scheming, we are playing the Devil’s game. And we will never be able to beat the Devil at his own game!
What Satan despises is transparent truth. He flees from it as quickly as darkness runs from the dawn. Having our waists girded with truth, then, means being possessed with truth, guided by truth, and controlled by truth. Where truth is absent, we have no power over Satan. It is as simple as that.
Prayer
O Father, I see that You have set standards by which I rise or fall. When I fulfill them, I rise—when I break them, I fall. Give me the strength I need to fulfill all Your laws, especially the law of truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

What can protect us from the Devil?

Beloved, we are to wear “truth” as a belt round our waist, did you read that? It means that you and I are meant to uphold truth in every of our dealings irrespective of what is at stake.
Apostle Paul, one of the foremost fore-runners in the Christian faith in his letter to the Ephesians chapters 6 as presented by author to be categories as subjective truth- that is truth that resides in the inner being. therefore, when we deceitful or hypocritical or when we resort to intrigue and scheming, we are playing the devils Game.
Satan despises transparent truth, therefore when you are transparent in your dealings, satan will not come near you. So do you want to operate in the realm of heavenly beings? Then resolve to be transparent and Satan will flee from you as darkness runs from dawn.
Resolve today to girt your loins about with truth, be guided by truth and controlled by truth. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!
