Thank You for the Great and Mighty things You will do in our lives today as we pray! thank you for the yokes that are broken, the restoration that You have done, the Blessings You showered, The deliverance You have wrought, The healings that You have given, the Financial breakthroughs You have done, Father we worship You for we will receive all of these and many more in the place of pray as we pray today in Jesus Name.
Beloveth, ask you pray today believe that God has done it. Confess His goodness, and position to receive even as you ask in Jesus Name…
“Watchman, what of the night?” yes many of us can stand through during the day to pray, but suffer slumber in the night. As much as God is interested in the morning watch so also He is interested in the night watch.
Oftentimes, we can pray very well during the day but the night vigil and night prayer is usually a challenge to many. Beloved by the rise of this topic we are encourage to also engage in night prayer as much as we do during the day. Learn to be faithful at night in the place of prayer.
We have encourage ourselves to set a place and time to talk with God, t have a conversation with Him. It will encourage you in the place of prayer. In fact when you are there even a baby in the house knows that you are praying. I have my youngest son always calling to ask or tell me something all through the day once he is around but once am seated in this place slated for prayers he knows mum must not be disturbed. If it so urgent and important he will just speak and I will respond if need be or when am I am done (this is mostly during the day because he is hardly awake during my night prayers).
Beloveth, you can also be the watchman at night for your family in case where everyone will not be able to participate. This is not inclusive of night prayer. You can make yourself the watchman at night because some evil occur mostly at night moreover, God can chose to reveal something in the night as you keep watch. If you read the passage in question, you will see that God was making revelation to Isaiah and it is important that we also get involve in keeping watch at night, so that we can receive from Him those things He have in stock for us (Lk 2:8-12 ).
We must fail in the place of prayer, not even in the night, God will make us strong, He will help us to pray and breakthrough in Jesus Name. Beloveth, don’t be tried, don’t be weak, ask the Holy Spirit to help your infirmities and keep you strong so that you will continue to stand strong in the place of prayers in Jesus Name!
“Watchman, what of the night?” Isaiah 21:11
What enemies are abroad? Errors are a numerous horde, and new ones appear every hour: against what heresy am I to be on my guard? Sins creep from their lurking places when the darkness reigns; I must myself mount the watch-tower, and watch unto prayer. Our heavenly Protector foresees all the attacks which are about to be made upon us, and when as yet the evil designed us is but in the desire of Satan, He prays for us that our faith fail not, when we are sifted as wheat. Continue O gracious Watchman, to forewarn us of our foes, and for Zion’s sake hold not thy peace.
“Watchman, what of the night?” What weather is coming for the Church? Are the clouds lowering, or is it all clear and fair overhead? We must care for the Church of God with anxious love; and now that Popery and infidelity are both threatening, let us observe the signs of the times and prepare for conflict.
“Watchman, what of the night?” What stars are visible? What precious promises suit our present case? You sound the alarm, give us the consolation also. Christ, the polestar, is ever fixed in His place, and all the stars are secure in the right hand of their Lord.
But watchman, when comes the morning? The Bridegroom tarries. Are there no signs of His coming forth as the Sun of Righteousness? Has not the morning star arisen as the pledge of day? When will the day dawn, and the shadows flee away? O Jesus, if Thou come not in person to Thy waiting Church this day, yet come in Spirit to my sighing heart, and make it sing for joy.
“Now all the earth is bright and glad
With the fresh morn;
But all my heart is cold, and dark and sad:
Sun of the soul, let me behold Thy dawn!
Come, Jesus, Lord,
O quickly come, according to Thy word.”
Beloveth, keep watch at night as much as in the morning, do not be weary in the place of prayer. Stand up for Jesus and receive from the Lord that which He planned for you.
When the Amalek came against the Israelite, while Joshua engaged them in war, Moses, Aaron and Hur went up the Hill to stand in the gap as the battle get fierce and Moses hand gets heavy from lifting, Aaron and Hur supported him. The Israelite won the war. Is possible you are getting weary in the place of night watch, get some people to encourage you and it will help you will stand through and win at the end. Amen! (Exo 17:8-16)
Ask the Holy Spirit as you pray today to also help you to keep watch at night.
Our Father, help us in the place of prayer, help us to be watchmen at night also that we will not miss out what you have in stock for us in Jesus Name.
