Beloveth… The blessings of the Lord maketh rich and He add no sorrow with it. Yes! It added no sorrow with it and so shall it be to us in Jesus Name… A faithful man shall abound wit blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.  Great is our God dearly beloveth…

Yesterday we saw a God who wants to be obeyed and if disobeyed leads to strongholds…. Yes! at the one side of obedient to God’s word is blessings, freedom, liberty, fruitfulness but at the other side is curses, strongholds, siege, slavery, sickness, barrenness and so on…

But like Joshua said to the children of Israelite choose today whom you will serve… But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”…

Obedient to God’s Word and commandments brings blessings but disobedient to the same…brings curses … we will not walk into curses in Jesus Name… We will serve the LORD and we will receive His blessings as promised in Jesus Name…. Beloveth do you know what is Flipping the Blessing?  Now, I know what you be thinking… Am I promising health, wealth, and prosperity? The answer to that is an unequivocal no!

God promises us something so much better than physical health or material wealth. Plus, some of God’s greatest blessimgs are blessings in disguise.

The blessing of God is not an immunity card against pain and suffering. Jesus said point blank, “ in this world you will have trouble” (Jn 16:33, NIV). He Himself endured far more than His fair share of earthly troubles, including the Cross! What makes us think Jesus without going through some of the same struggles He did? But take note- this promise doesn’t end with “Trouble.” Don’t make the mistake of putting a period where God puts a comma! In the same breathe, Jesus declared, “But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

In fact, God has postured Himself to bless you from the very beginning. The Hebrew word for “blessing,” Barak, is repeated 330 times in the Old Testament. It means to bless the One Who blesses you. And in the New Testament, we get two flavours of blessings – “makarios” and “eulogetos.”

The concepts of blessing may be Greek to you, but I want you to understand that blessing is the central storyline of scripture from start to finish. Some of God’s blessings are as simple and straightforward as the sunrise. Others are more difficult to discern, like the blessing of brokenness.

But of this I’m certain: the blessing of God is the solution to your biggest problem, the answer to your boldest prayer, and the fulfillment of your bravest dream.

Yet just as “trouble” doesn’t have the final word in our lives, the endgame of God’s blessing is not getting but giving! God doesn’t bless us to raise our standard of living. God blesses us to raise our standard of giving.

That idea is as old as the Abrahamic covenant in genesis 12:2-3. Even better, the old covenant has been updated and upgraded by what Christ accomplished on the cross.

Simply put, we are blessed to bless. The way we turn a blessing into a double blessing is by flipping the blessing. In other words, we get a blessing by giving a blessing. That is counterintuitive and countercultural, but that is the miracle. And you will be a bigger blessing to more people because of it…

What more could I have done for My vineyard than I did? Why, when I expected a yield of good grapes, did it yield worthless grapes?—Isaiah 5:4

The prophet Isaiah told the story of a man with a vineyard on a fertile hill. The man cultivated the ground and removed the stones so that nothing would hinder the vines’ growth. He planted only the best quality vines. He built a tower in the middle of the vineyard so he could watch for wild animals and intruders. He constructed a wine vat so that he would be ready for the ripe grapes. Then he waited. Rather than producing good grapes, however, the vineyard produced worthless ones.

The story illustrates the relationship between God and His people. God has done everything necessary for us to produce an abundance of spiritual fruit in our lives. He saved us when we were without hope. He gave us His Holy Spirit to produce fruit in our lives (Gal. 5:22–23). He removed our sin so that we are free to serve Him. We have the Bible in numerous translations.

We have access to more Christian books, music, videos, conferences, schools, radio and television stations, magazines, and seminars than ever before. There are churches of every kind and size. We have teachers and pastors to instruct us and encourage us. Most of all, we have direct access to God through prayer. Jesus said that to whom much is given, much is expected (Luke 12:48).

One day God will hold us accountable for all that He has done for us. He will ask us to show Him the fruit of all of His bountiful provision for our lives. What will He find?

Beloveth, God has bestowed His Spirit upon you… what will He have from you in return… getting involved in His work or abandoning His work for your pleasure?…

Hearken to His Voice today, do not harden your heart… and as you do… You are in for flipping blessings as we studied above….
