O COME, ALL YE FAITHFUL

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,

O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;

Come and behold Him, born the King of angels;

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

Christ, the Lord!

Father, we are came to say thank You for another day of hope and fulfillment of prophesy and promises as contend in the Word. Thank You for Your Faithfulness that endureth to all generation, Your love that have no bound, Your peace that flows like a river and Your Joy unspeakable full of glory. Thank You Lord; thank You Father.

Beloved, in the remaining days of this year, let us come before God with a heart of gratitude, thanking Him for His goodness from the beginning of the year up until now. Let us not be misery with our thanksgiving offering for that will displease God. Who gave us His best Whom we are celebrating at a time such as this.

Is so interesting when you consider mystery such as the topic we have before us how Jesus became poor for our sake. How he left the exalted Throne to reconcile us to the Father. ask me I will say that another Name for Him is “Compassionate  Jesus”

Looking around us in the world we are in, how many of our leaders are ready to live such a sacrificial life for the sake of those they are leading? How many are willing and delightfully give up their rights due to them not to talk of  dying on their behalf. But that was exactly what Jesus did,

He gave up His rights and took our place. He became what our sinful state has brought us into, “poor”. Casting our mind back at creation, we saw that everything was provided for before the creation of man. He is to dress the garden (Gen 2:15) but after the fall, that right was taken away. Labour displaced dressing, what a tragedy, one will say (Gen 3:17-19).

Understanding the mystery of today’s topic will settle your poverty mentality forever. The Spirit of God helped my understanding of this very Word of God and ever since then my level changed.

Now understanding and applying same will settle someone reading this devotion forever in Jesus Name.

First, is possible you are looking anything wealthy but your understanding of this scripture will set you on high above your fellows. It will help you to get out the obscurity / limitation the enemy has placed over your life.

Do you believe that Jesus took your place and grant you salvation which guarantees your access to eternal life? (1 Thess 5:5; 2 Cor 5:17). Do you also believe that by His stripes He took away every sickness that may ever come your way (Isa 53:5)? Same way, Jesus took your poor nature having emptied Himself of His heavenly dignity took your place so that you will become rich in His stead (Phil 2:6-11).

It means that if we understand this mystery we will never be poor again as the devil want us to believe. It means that in your business, career, ministry, academics or whatever your hand findeth to do you will continue to do it until you achieve the best result that will delivery to you the desired result (Prov 4:18).

Someone is yet to get what am saying. Beloved, you don’t need to bemoan any situation happening to you, rather you continue to pray and ask for help from God until you are best at what you do. Praise God.

You are a princess; yea are gods. The price had been paid fully not in part; the exchange was fully made not in parts (Jn 10:34-35; Gal 2:20-21). So why remain under the crushes of the evil one. The deceiver that tells you that you are no good? You are a failure? You cannot make it? Why running back in fear instead of tossing/ marching forward with the strength in our Jesus?

Declare to yourself that I will make it. Engage in those things that will make a reality of your declarations (remembers yesterday message) over time you see yourself a wonder.

He became poor that I may be rich, what about you? If that is same with you then come let’s move on:

“For your sakes he became poor.” 2Corinthians 8:9

The Lord Jesus Christ was eternally rich, glorious, and exalted; but “though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor.” As the rich saint cannot be true in his communion with his poor brethren unless of his substance he ministers to their necessities, so (the same rule holding with the head as between the members), it is impossible that our Divine Lord could have had fellowship with us unless He had imparted to us of His own abounding wealth, and had become poor to make us rich.

Had He remained upon His throne of glory, and had we continued in the ruins of the fall without receiving His salvation, communion would have been impossible on both sides. Our position by the fall, apart from the covenant of grace, made it as impossible for fallen man to communicate with God as it is for Belial to be in concord with Christ.

In order, therefore, that communion might be compassed, it was necessary that the rich kinsman should bestow his estate upon his poor relatives, that the righteous Saviour should give to His sinning brethren of His own perfection, and that we, the poor and guilty, should receive of His fulness grace for grace; that thus in giving and receiving, the One might descend from the heights, and the other ascend from the depths, and so be able to embrace each other in true and hearty fellowship.

Poverty must be enriched by Him in whom are infinite treasures before it can venture to commune; and guilt must lose itself in imputed and imparted righteousness ere the soul can walk in fellowship with purity. Jesus must clothe His people in His own garments, or He cannot admit them into His palace of glory; and He must wash them in His own blood, or else they will be too defiled for the embrace of His fellowship.

O believer, herein is love! For your sake the Lord Jesus “became poor” that He might lift you up into communion with Himself.

The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.” Isaiah 40:5

We anticipate the happy day when the whole world shall be converted to Christ; when the gods of the heathen shall be cast to the moles and the bats; when every doctrine or foundation not lay by Christ shall be exploded, and shall wane, never again to cast its baleful rays upon the nations; when kings shall bow down before the Prince of Peace, and all nations shall call their Redeemer blessed. Some despair of this.

They look upon the world as a vessel breaking up and going to pieces, never to float again. We know that the world and all that is therein is one day to be burnt up, and afterwards we look for new heavens and for a new earth; but we cannot read our Bibles without the conviction that—

“Jesus shall reign where’er the sun

Does his successive journeys run.”

We are not discouraged by the length of His delays; we are not disheartened by the long period which He allots to the church in which to struggle with little success and much defeat. We believe that God will never suffer this world, which has once seen Christ’s blood shed upon it, to be always the devil’s stronghold. Christ came hither to deliver this world from the detested sway of the powers of darkness.

What a shout shall that be when men and angels shall unite to cry “Hallelujah, hallelujah, for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth!” What a satisfaction will it be in that day to have had a share in the fight, to have helped to break the arrows of the bow, and to have aided in winning the victory for our Lord!

Happy are they who trust themselves with this conquering Lord, and who fight side by side with Him, doing their little in His name and by His strength! How unhappy are those on the side of evil! It is a losing side, and it is a matter wherein to lose is to lose and to be lost for ever. On whose side are you?

Beloved, I believe that when God blesses a man or favours a man, he will be above his fellows but that does not negate hard word, skills, perseverance and diligence.

Of every one used by God, they were hard workers and diligent in what they do, however the blessing of God made them outstanding among their fellows- Joseph, David, (Gen 39:4,10,21; 40:8-23; 41:1-46;1 Sam 16:23; 17:15,33-37).

The Word said the gift of man maketh a way for him. Therefore beloveth, what is that gift God has given you? This is the time to harness it and let it put you before kings and make you rich according to His Word. Your richness has been secured in Him even before you were created, from the very beginning God made every tree bearing fruits, animals, fishes in the sea, before man came into existence (Gen 1:29-30). He commanded us to be fruitful, and multiply (Gen 1:28).

Have you seen that from the beginning you richness was secured though displaced after the fall but Christ restored it back again. It also makes you anxious and worry free, because if its a need He will met it (Phil 4:6).

My prayer is that someone will be blessed by this ministration and be free forever from ever demonic hold.

He became poor that you and I will be rich. Come along as we worship the King once again:

Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation,

O sing, all ye citizens of heaven above!

Glory to God, all glory in the highest;

Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning,

Jesus, to Thee be all glory given;

Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;

Remain blessed in the Lord.
