You are the reason why we are singing Jehovah You are the Most High God 2x Jehovah You are the Most High God 2x. let the Living water flow over my soul, let the Holy Spirit come and take control of every situation that trouble my heart, all my cares and burden unto Thee I come, Jesus Jesus Jesus, sing to the Father, Father, Father, Father, sing to Spirit, Spirit, Spirit, Spirit.

Yes Father, come and take control of every situation that troubles our heart we pray Thee. Thank You Lord for another wonderful time we enjoyed with You all through the week, we are grateful and we return to say thank You Father for being Thee for us especially when we needed You most. Thank You for comforting us and answering our prayers, thank You for holding us forth. Receive our offering of gratitude in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, Friday is here again, what shall we do today?  We are having a two in one package today, having gone half of this month. We will be praising God for His faithfulness over us in addition, we will also be having a take home package for the week.

Do you know if not for the Lord, You will have been consumed by the evil one, but Thank be God in whom we run into and are secured. Thank be to Jesus who takes away our infirmities, whose death on the cross guaranteed our living. Thanks be to the Holy Spirit, who help our understanding and bring comfort to us so that we may not despair.

So gather your instrument of praise and offer praise to God. Beloved, when King Jehoshaphat had an overwhelming encounter during his reign and he retorted witty to praise according to the Word God to him.

And today as you are going through those trials, pains, challenges, the Lord is saying same to you ‘‘the battle is mine,’’ will you stop warring and start praising. Will stop worrying and start dancing. Put the exact energy you exert worrying in praising and see how beautiful the situation will turn out. You will emerge a victor. You will Thank God atleast. I am a living witness, Praise God.

Beloved, Jesus remain our safety place. He is our safe habitat. He is our peace. Come takes run into Him and be safe:

“And a man shall be as an hiding-place from the wind and a covert from the tempest.” Isa. 32:2

Who this MAN is we all know. Who could He be but the Second Man, the Lord from Heaven, the Man of sorrows, the Son of Man? What a hiding-place He has been to His people! He bears the full force of the wind Himself, and so He shelters those who hide themselves in Him.

We have thus escaped the wrath of God, and we shall thus escape the anger of men, the cares of this life, and the dread of death. Why do we stand in the wind when we may so readily and so surely get out of it by hiding behind our Lord? Let us this day run to Him, and be at peace.

Often the common wind of trouble rises in its force and becomes a tempest, sweeping everything before it. Things which looked firm and stable rock in the blast, and many and great are the falls among our carnal confidences. Our Lord Jesus, the glorious Man, is a covert which is never blown down. In Him we mark the tempest sweeping by, but we ourselves rest in delightful serenity.

This day let us just stow ourselves away in our hiding-place, and sit and sing under the protection of our Covert. Blessed Jesus! Blessed Jesus! How we love thee! Well we may, for thou art to us a shelter in the time of storm.

Beloved, not just this day alone but all through this year, we continual to hide in Him. and when we do we shall not be afraid of evil tiding, because the same God will not allow us to be overrun by evil. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon Thee (Isaiah 43:2).

Beloved, never murmur when you are tempted because of these God destroyed the children of Israel that left Egypt. Should a clay tell the potter what will become of it (Rom 9:20, 21). Be careful so that you fall not into the same temptation.

“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings.” Psalm 112:7

Christian, you ought not to dread the arrival of evil tidings; because if you are distressed by them, what do you more than other men? Other men have not your God to fly to; they have never proved His faithfulness as you have done, and it is no wonder if they are bowed down with alarm and cowed with fear: but you profess to be of another spirit; you have been begotten again unto a lively hope, and your heart lives in heaven and not on earthly things; now, if you are seen to be distracted as other men, what is the value of that grace which you profess to have received? Where is the dignity of that new nature which you claim to possess?

Again, if you should be filled with alarm, as others are, you would, doubtless, be led into the sins so common to others under trying circumstances. The ungodly, when they are overtaken by evil tidings, rebel against God; they murmur, and think that God deals hardly with them. Will you fall into that same sin? Will you provoke the Lord as they do?

Moreover, unconverted men often run to wrong means in order to escape from difficulties, and you will be sure to do the same if your mind yields to the present pressure. Trust in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him. Your wisest course is to do as Moses did at the Red Sea, “Stand still and see the salvation of God.” For if you give way to fear when you hear of evil tidings, you will be unable to meet the trouble with that calm composure which nerves for duty, and sustains under adversity.

How can you glorify God if you play the coward? Saints have often sung God’s high praises in the fires, but will your doubting and desponding, as if you had none to help you, magnify the Most High? Then take courage, and relying in sure confidence upon the faithfulness of your covenant God, “let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

A big consolation coming from high to us, beloved. Let us therefore hold on to our God, Who maketh everything beautiful at His own time. Never be afraid of the devil’s schemes but rather rejoice in what you are becoming.

Be praiseful and believe God that all things are possible. Never be distracted but focus on God and you will triumph atlast.

Have a wonderful weekend. See you next week by God’s grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
