Ancient of Days how old are You are now, how old are You now, You will never change.// Covenant keeping God, there is no one like You. Alpha and Omega, there is no one like. Ooo! Covenant keeping God, there is no one like You. Alpha and Omega, there is no one like.

Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness morning by morning new mercies I see, all that I needed Thy Hand has provided, great is Thy faithfulness Lord unto Thee. Our Heavenly Father we thank You, we bless Your Holy Name, we adore You we give You Praise for Your mercies enduerth forever. How excellent are You Lord, how wonderful are You God, be lifted high above all other gods in Jesus Name.

We exalt You Lord, we give you Praise, we adore You, we glorify Your Holy Name in Jesus Name.

Beloved, we started the week we commission to stand through for God whenever and where ever it may be. How great is our God, How excellent is His Name. Come and exalt Him forever and ever in Jesus Name. With three hundred men He gave Israel victory over the Midianites, “lest they boost their hands have save them” (Judg 7:2-7). We will however be crowing the week with another story from the New Testament about Peter, one of the Jesus disciple.

Peter at a point was so afraid to confess Jesus and he simply denied Him before the maid and other Jews. One will wonder why “Peter” of all people! Why should Peter deny Jesus? The same Peter the Holy Spirit revealed Jesus too. The same Peter that is meant to be the Rock upon every church should be built. The same peter that cut the ear of one of the servant of the high priest that came to arrest Jesus. Why Peter one may ask”

Remember our prayer this week was a request to pick someone who you will not like to go back to their vomit and pray for such a person. Beloved, the matter here is to “pray for one another” as Jesus did for Peter. Did Peter still fall into that temptation, yes! he did and imagine if he was not prayed for by Jesus  maybe we will talking about him like the way Judas was being discussed today.

Beloveth, fear causes many horrible things in our lives such as back-sliding, abandoning the vision or mandate, and so many other uncountable things. Don’t forget that same Peter who denied Jesus before a mere maid later stood before the chief priest to testify about Him. When he was asked to keep mute about our Lord Jesus, this same Peter asked them “are to please men and displease God”(Act 4:1-20).

Beloved, if you are following our teachings, remember what we learnt from faith clinic, “the choice facing us” we learnt that we must face our pains rather denying it.

I suffered so much by running away from my pains. When I lost my job and the stock market clashed. It was a disaster for me. Everything I built on as per investment came clashing right in front of me. Beloved, I don’t know if you have been before. I could not go for the reconciliation of my account with my stock brokers. It was such a horrifying period of my life. but when I presented my fear and pains to the Lord, beloved He took me by the hand and led me.

He restored me from total lost to at least a level where I recovered stage. He took me and appointed men to minister to my needs having pledge to serve Him as that was His plan for me. He used financial troubles to draw my attention fully to Him like He did caught Moses attention at the burning bush. When I presented my pains and fear to Him, I did not deny it and the moment the healing started I had the will power to count my losses and I am still living and God has not stop blessing me. By the grace of God, we will be able to take this topic as full ministration God willing before the end of the month.

Beloved, fear is horrible but trust in God overcomes it easier than we can ever imagine. Feasting on the Word is the sword of the Spirit that demolishes every thought that make itself mighty or higher than God.

Have you played the game stupid? Come on to discover more:

Judges 11:1-12:15, Psalm 57:1-6Proverbs 13:5-6, Luke 22:47-71

“Stupid”

Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!”—Luke 22:60

Today we look at a game called “Stupid.” Simon Peter played this game. Picture the scene. Peter, the big fisherman, strong, resolute, determined, firm in his declaration of love for Christ, denies all knowledge of the Master. Why? He had walked with the Master for three whole years, heard Him speak the most wonderful words, saw Him heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and work other amazing miracles. Yet when he is asked if he knows Jesus, his response is one of withdrawal. In other words, he plays stupid.

Eric Berne claims that whenever we play games, it is always for a reward. What was Peter’s reward? It was the reinforcement of his fear. Why should the reinforcement of his fear be a reward? Well, the more deeply he believed that he was afraid and the more he did to reinforce that fear, the easier it would be to excuse himself for his failure to stand up for Jesus when confronted. The final pay-off was to be protected from danger.

A Christian schoolteacher told me that at an educational conference, someone happened to remark that the Bible was a fable. The man then turned to the schoolteacher and said: “What do you think?” He told me that his first impulse was to play stupid and say: “I am not sure,” or “I don’t know.” He caught himself just about to play the game but instead accepted the challenge of the situation and responded with some positive comments. To play the game of “Stupid” may bring temporary benefits, but the dishonesty involved greatly upsets one’s spiritual balance.

Prayer

O Father, help me to be an honest person. Help me to absorb Your love in such a measure that it will dissolve every fear. Then strengthen me to face life—fearless and unafraid. Amen.
